One of the longest running venues in Noosa, Café Le Monde is arguably one of Hastings Street’s most well known restaurant/bars, and has long been a must visit experience when visiting Noosa.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with live music Thursdays at 5pm ($1 oyster hour) & DJs Saturday late into the night for drinks and dancing. The ever-evolving Café Le Monde is a restaurant that offers something for everyone, a Noosa favourite and an icon!

The menu draws heavily on fresh, local produce to create tasty & nutritious meals.     Staff service was not great or friendly. Leaning over us to put food on table rather than take a step around. Despite it not being busy we were being rushed to order drinks then rushed again to order food. The food was quite good but service spoiled experience

    Needs more on menu maybe a bread for a starter. Not good at getting drinks, as waited and no drink ever came. Need more on dessert menu. A lot of young staff Looks good from outside, but dark inside. No entertainment on Fridays

    I have eaten at cafe le monde on many occasions, I mainly go there for the duck fat chips As usual they were perfect, however on this occasion all the other food stepped up a big notch, there was a notice difference in all of the food quality This visit was sensational One to remember Not sure if there has been a change in the chef or management of the kitchen

    The best seafood. The oysters were so fresh we ended up eating a dozen. King prawns were just amazing along with the calamari and broccolini. Could eat there everyday!!!

    I really enjoyed booking in the lamb and wine special, getting to the restaurant and the staff confirming that we were there for the lamb and wine special, and then being told that they’ve actually run out, and that we should have booked for it so they could plan for us… In its place we had a pork cutlet which is honestly delicious, drinks were good etc. it turns into a nightclub at some point in the night, so don’t expect to have a long or late dinner.

    Whilst we waited what seemed like an unreasonable amount of time to be seated for our ‘booked’ sitting - in the rain, the evening was very nice with an attentive waiter & very good food. Perhaps the venue was short staffed due to Sunshine Coast floods?

    Our staff were very friendly and made sure we were well looked after! Serving sizes were large which is fine but it felt like a lot. Steak was too thin to ask whether you needed medium rare or well done because it was all cooked them same anyway.

    We had a fabulous night at Cafe Le Monde. The night we were there it was raining heavily which meant some tables could not be used. Nevertheless the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good table and were comfortable.

    A young spilt my full glass of wine on me. She was apologetic and awkward however did not offer a free drink or to get me a new glass when it happened. The young waitress was obviously embarrassed and did not get a new glass for at least ten minutes and continued to serve food and drinks to other patrons . I had to ask another staff member for a drink and a glass. After the initial spill 5 minutes had passed before the waitress did offer me me two napkins to clean the liquid and then continued to serve others.
