Loved it. The food, ambiance, staff EVERYTHING! First time dining at a French restaurant and i loved it.
This restaurant has embraced outdoor dining by setting up individual plastic pods for each table. It brought fun to eating in the street.
Our main server was excellent. He was responsive to our questions and needs. However, one of the other servers was not too great. He yelled “you order this?” when he brought over the ketchup and salt/pepper. He also wouldn’t allow us to lower the flap for the bubble tent.
Amazing Food, first time trying it. Outside dinner was a little cold but we really enjoyed.
The food here is outstanding, but the service is lacking. I think they expanded too much and they can’t handle the demand.
I would absolutely go back, but with no plans after since it could take a few hours for the meal.

We had a delicious brunch at Cafe du Soleil. We ate in one of the pop-up bubbles with a space heater and were very comfortable. The service was excellent and the overall ambiance was festive and fun and very COVID-friendly.
Terrible customer service. First, one of our dishes were the wrong order. Once we mentioned that to the waiter, he sent a busboy to the table and asked us to figure out. When the correct order came to the table it was cold.
When we mentioned that to the waiter, he said we should have told him right when we got the food, and blamed it on us.
I made reservations for Sunday morning 9:15am for a party of 4..
we arrived @9am was seated by 9:15 great. we didn't get served til 10am there were 3 other parties that came after us and we all were waiting more than 1/2hr to be served . other than that my children loved the experience .
Don’t make a reservation for 10:45pm if you don’t want to be rushed by the manager and staff.
I loved sitting in the pods, which provided ambiance and social distance. The food was delicious and the wait staff perhaps a little too French for their own good. All in all, we loved it and hope to go again soon.
Service took forever. We had our orders ready to be placed but it took almost an hour for the food to come out. A bit disappointed. Food was okay but the French onion soup was really good. Came there around 4 for our reservation so I was surprised that it took long on everything.

Food was good. How ever the service stunk, especially from the host. I had a reservation and nevertheless had to wait to be seated outside. I asked for a bubble seating and was denied. Not sure if it was because I’m Hispanic. The excuse was that they only seated parties of 3 or more in those bubbles. However, I then saw them promptly sit two young woman in one of the bubbles. I was outraged. Very unpleasant dining experience with little class.
Had brunch in one of their "bubbles" outside, felt very safe and their menu was extensive.
They kept forgetting things one after another and the food was overly salty and just not worth it. Cafe du soleil is just overly hyped because of the bubbles. There are plenty of other places with nice seating
The service was splendid. It was my husband's birthday. He truly enjoyed dinner and the ambience of the restaurant.
The French music was superb.
The only comment is that the "creme bulee" was cold. Aside from that it was an enjoyable evening...under the stars.

Dining in the “bubble” was great. Good food and wine and very good service. Swordfish, sardined, Salmon burger and beef burginon were All very good. Recommend
Excellent place to have dinner and catch up with friends. Sitting in the individual tents makes it intimate and safe if covid is your concern . Definitely recommend this restaurant !
Hard to make conversation because our table was just under the stereo.

The plastic pods for outdoor dining is one of the reasons we chose this restaurant. It is in our neighborhood- and it was actually more pleasant eating outside because inside it is usually very noisy and difficult to have a conversation. There were 5 of us and it felt like we had a private room.
The food is very good except for pasta which was just ok. Overall it is a bit pricey ( an appetizer and entree is about $34; with wine and dessert the bill for one could easily be $55). It says on Open Table “$30 and under “ - that is if you have an entree and absolutely nothing else.

I admit I came for the experience of dining in the bubble, but once there mostly forgot about it. The overall ambiance felt like a regular outdoor dining experience which was wonderful. I do hope they keep some of the bubbles for use next year even if COVID is just a memory by then.
Our server Doug was a charming delight and finally a restaurant that understands the meaning of rare! I will be back for that ribeye steak. *chef's kiss*
After making an outdoor reservation I was denied a table that I reserved being told that there were only tables of 4 and that my reservation was not guaranteed. I adjusted to the indoor dining at a very small table with my mother after looking forward to eating at this restaurant for nearly a month. The server came over after we sat for about 10 minutes and was extremely bubbly and pleasant which I welcomed because I was not happy. I apologized for my frumpy mood and my mother and I ordered prosecco and FOS that was good but not what I expected for a French restaurant. My mother ordered an entrée which we had to flag our waiter down for after AN HOUR of his absence to request it's where abouts, and after hearing someone call that the dish was 86'd (they are out of Short Ribs) the waiter stated he would be right back with it. We stated we would take it to go at that point. He came back with a to go bag about 7 minutes later, we paid our bill highly disappointed and left. Upon returning home and opening the dinner it was apparent that the 'dinner' was the bottom of the barrel and there were no ribs left. This feels like the result of a restaurant that got so popular and can't handle everyone coming in.
I reserved a table weeks ahead at an outside bubble table for safety reasons and also because it is cold. When I arrived they wouldn't give us the bubble as they said they were reserving for large party walk-ins, which were open throughout our entire nearly 2 hour meal. When we asked repeatedly they said no, but I'm compassionate to the realities restaurants are facing so we stayed. Then our food arrived and it genuinely just wasn't good. The gratin potatoes were tasteless and the skirt steak wasn't well seasoned. I don't like giving bad ratings but this meal was supposed to be a celebration and it ended up being a cold, frustrating let down.
I'd go again. I thought the menu description was a little off from what I was actually served. It was really seasoned and basically ok. It was a beef shepards pie. It read as if it were a meal with short ribs. It was ok though.

I advise you to try snails, this restaurant uses an amazing sauce.
The person in charge of reservations/seating is horrible, unfriendly, has not customer care skills, he is rude. We were looking forward to go, and I have recommended that restaurant to many of friends(a lot), but after such a bad experience, asked them not bother to go. The restaurant should have a better representation. Finally, we left.
My daughter and I had a reservation for brunch at 12:30 on 10/18/2020. Once at the restaurant (got there early), the male host explained that even though my reservation was for the outside "Bubble" seating, there are no guarantees (I only went there for the outside seating). We had to wait for about 15 minutes but the male host final sat us in a "Bubble". We was happy because it was extremely windy and the "Bubble" blocked most of the wind. After all that, the food was delicious and came out hot. My daughter had the Mussels and I had the French Toast. I would definitely eat there again and recommend a friend.
My only concern is that the bubbles have a limited time of 1 hour to eat there. We were in a rush. But everything is ok.

Worst service I’ve ever encounter. The person who greeted us at the door was arrogant and unhelpful even with a reservation made weeks in advance. Our server forgot our drinks until after the food was on the table and believe me we reminded him 3 times. The food came cold . 2 of my kids order the same entree of course only one came and when they brought the second one 15 min later the 2 were completely different (one came with sauce and the other without) the server response was “well that happens” no apology or intent to change the plate. The food was mediocre, all of our plates were untouched by the time we left. We paid for our meal and ask to see the manager after, he was ok I guess but nothing could change the terrible experience

I was late 14 minutes and they canceled my reservation but I was able to sit indoor dining I wanted to sit outdoor and then they brought my eggs wrong and they took so long to bring the food out and then I ordered latte and they brought 2nd time and I said I didn’t order but I can take it and they charged me. And the table doesn’t set up with utensil and I ordered the French fries it never Came out, the portion of food is really small. and lastly O finished my food and I went to a bathroom and I saw my waiter came out and I went in, There was no hand soap I had to ask to bring it back. I am saying that means the waiter didn’t wash hands and serving food ??? Especially this time ??? I would never go back
A wonderful outdoor brunch on a sunny fall afternoon. The food is excellent. They are creatively addressing the Covid crisis by means of "bubbles"; clear tent-like structures that are sanitized after every use. They have become so popular that the friendly, efficient staff is occasionaly rushed. Do get there and enjoy the experience before winter sets in.
I appreciated the extra precautions taken for these times of Covid that we're in, and I felt very comfortable with the way the restaurant was set up. Service was absolutely perfect and the food was delicious.

Service was terrible. Over 45min to get food and never once an apology. Then the server had the gall to tell us they were closing soon and we needed to decide on dessert then. Mind you we had literally just finally gotten our food.
