The view was lovely. I’ve had breakfast there before and enjoyed it. I took my dad there for his birthday. The chicken salad was not nice. Even my 88 year old dad made a comment about the meal not being up to standard. There are a few local cafes which do quality food for a slightly cheaper price.
Great venue for breakfast. Beautiful views over the broadwater, great food and friendly helpful staff.
Top notch experience. Interesting menu, food was delicious. Great outlook. We will be back!
Beautiful location and great food. We had a lovely afternoon at Cafe Catalina.
Perfect in every way..................................
Wonderful location, food, service and entertainment.
Everything was excellent. My only comment the coffees were only warm, hot.
More selection for lunch didn’t have any fish and chips or seniors meals very expensive for steak but good coffee good drink selection but a bit pricey for a cafe
Been to Catalinas so many times but this time the waiter was not at all friendly, rather he was abrupt. Didn’t give us time to decide and seemed put out that we didn’t order a drink. The food was ok but really is expensive for what you get. Coffee was not good. Sad to see it go downhill.
Great food service wasn't to great this time around
Lovely dinner with a colleague. Recommend it for the food, view and excellent service. We enjoyed scallops, arancini balls, pork belly and barramundi - all beautiful! Too full for dessert.
My main course of snapper and prawn dumplings was delicious. Ambience was perfect.
I would have liked for there to be a dessert menu and for tea and coffee to be offered. I understand that it is a difficult time for restaurants.
We ordered our food at 1.30 and had to ask someone at 2.30 what was happening - no one advised there would be a big delay and it was tough to get attention of staff. It was fathers day and i totally get it was busy but there could have been a warning or even an update after 1 hour waiting. The wind was really cold and blowing and staff said could not close the blinds too which made it uncomfortable. I would still go back but a bit ordinary on the service on this occasion.
Nice Ambience and Service. Good Place to go to meet up.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Great location on the Broadwater.
Appalling service. Not graded with a hello welcome anything just have you got a reservation really poor I really miserable guy at the front. Pretty much was the same throughout the meal. Full of arrogance
Great view and lovely food. The staff took care of our large table with ease. The music playing inside was a bit loud though, which made to difficult to hold conversations which other people at the table.
All in all a good experience and would definitely dine here again.
Was a great breakfast and so much space for the kids to enjoy too. Food was delicious and service was amazing!!
Great position on the Coast, food was also excellent!
We had to wait over an hour for our meals which when they arrived were cold.
We ordered extra hot coffee which was also cold when we got it.
They did replace the coffees after I complained and also comped them off our bill.
When I paid I let the staff know and they did say they were understaffed.
I explained that people are understanding if you let them know but felt like the staff were all avoiding our eye when they walked past.
I was really disappointed as I had taken my parents out for a spec occasion.
Coffee was great, food was good. Very slow, waited about 30mins for coffee after ordering and longer for food. I wouldn’t say there were busy, just an average Saturday Morning. Dog friendly, lots of people have dogs there
Easy parking, great service, excellent location. Can't fault it.
Enjoy going there the food is always good and the staff helpful and friendly would recommend it to all my friends.
Wonderful spot with very professional service and innovative, delicious foid.
Food was delicious as always.
Great food with good serving sizes.
Beautiful view will definitely be back.
We held our Committee meeting there while having breakfast. The service was fabulous with the staff quietly looking after our delegates. All meals were lovely and the coffees great.
Unfortunately, we waited nearly an hour for food. We were never asked if we needed another coffee, and when we asked for a glass of ice, it was forgotten.
We have been many times before and have never received this lack of service.
Not sure if they were short staff but the service was appalling. We had a toddler so wanted to order quiet quick so he wouldn’t get restless waiting for our food. By the time our food came it was stone cold which was so disappointing for a $75 breakfast for 2 adults and 1 toddler SO disappointing!
Great spot and great food. service spot on. Will definitely come back.
Very expensive for what you got. Not really set up for dogs at all
Great location, nice food (bit on the expensive side), good value drinks and large range of beers etc. staff didn’t seem too interested. Live music was great!
Food and drinks were great once we finally got them. Staff were disinterested in serving us, service was slow - more than half an hour wait for a coffee and then still had to chase up sugar, milk for tea and water. Won't be rushing back there!
Great service and meals served quickly. Everything was very tasty!
Two of the four meals was great. Insaying that, one of these was a side dish. The mains, the steak was ok, the Prawn w angel hair pasta was less than ordinary , the angel hair pasta is like no type I have ever been served..in saying that it wasnt angel hair pasta. The cost was excessive for the amount received on the plate and it was simply less than ordinary in flavour for $39. The prawns were chewy. The presentation of the main meals ...another diappointment
In saying that, the service was FAB and the the over all vibe is appealing for all ages.
We have been many times before but this time we were very disappointed with the total lack of service after we received our mains. It took at least 20 minutes after we finished for the plates to be cleared and we were hoping to order dessert and coffee but no bothered to ask so we just left and went somewhere else.
The food is always good and the view is great.
Maybe we just had a bad day. It was a birthday lunch and this was noted in our booking so it really wasn't good enough.
Great food served by friendly staff. The location and view is beautiful.
Best restaurant on the gold coast!!!
Everyone loved their meals.
We were so impressed - the food was outstanding! 4 people dining - different choices and everything fabulous!
We also loved all the well behaved dogs under the tables and the very nice and professional waiters who took everything in their stride and made it an excellent experience. Thank you!
Best place on the Coast! Awesome food and a really nice place
