Very, very disappointed. Our last experience at Blantyre was prior to Cafe Boulud and was superior. The menu was not so hot but the food itself even worse. My husbands pork was so tough he could barely cut it. We were drinking and so happy to be back we didn’t make a fuss but we are planning on letting the hotel know our feelings.
Very sorry to have to write this especially in today’s climate but we feel we need to share.
Excellent food coupled with outstanding service in a wonderful venue.
Best meal I have had in months and a wonderful respite from COVID. Service was phenomenal and the staff worked to accommodate us despite a reservation error on our end. It's a shame that this restaurant pop-up is temporary, as we would head back time and time again!
Everything was great. Except, the hostess who showed us to our table was quite rude, almost seemed as if though she intentionally placed us in a room in the back.
What an experience!!! I’m so lucky and grateful I got a table and so glad to have met the staff, especially Renatta! What a gem! What service! What a night! Can’t wait to eat at Daniel Restaurant when I’m back in NYC!
Celebrated our anniversary with a wonderful dinner. Thank you chef Boulud for bringing your talented team to the Berkshires. A special place with outstanding food and service. Hope to be back before you leave in February.
Wonderful service and ambience. Food was perfect and so flavorful.
This is a beautiful setting. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable . They practiced vivid safety precautions which made me feel comfortable dining there.
Great meal. Duck was extraordinary. Delicious meal. Overpriced wine. Overall, great meal.
The concept of Boulud decamping NYC for the beautiful Berkshires and the even more beautiful Blantyre, is brilliant. Although the lobster entree was very tasty, if there was one ounce of lobster meat on the plate, I would be surprised. And please, replace the uber boring roll with some decent bread. Go to Berkshire Mountain Bakery if you don't want to bake your own.
We found the food to be high in salt and overly rich. I asked for my duck to be Med Rare and it was very Rare. We appreciated being outside and the service was lovely, but the drinks and wines were very overpriced, both by the glass and by the bottle.
We expected a lot and found it
For the money and with Boulud's name attached, I was not impressed. The octopus was the best dish I had. The pate, duck, and burger were underwhelming. The service was great as was the location. But I was there for the food which just didnt cut it. Disappointing overall.
In these pandemic times the reality is that fine dining is as scarce as hens' teeth. Fortunately, Bolud at Blantyre has many culinary hens' teeth. We dined there for the first time during the pandemic and it was superlative from beginning to end. Cocktails were above average and the food was extraordinary from starters to dessert. Service was amazing from the NYC Bolud staff, and of course the ambiance of Blantyre makes the whole experience nothing short of spectacular. Thank God, Bolud is here until FEB 2021!
Really cool experience. Loved it. Would go back again for another special occassion
Most of the dishes were under seasoned. Service was good but quality of the cuisine was highly disappointing.
The entire experience is always exceptional and appreciated and Andre's cocktails are simply divine!
Wonderful setting and great food! Service was exceptional from our waiter Greg. The wine list was a bit pricey but I managed to find a nice Cote du Rhone at a reasonable price. We would definitely go back.
Absolutely amazing experience. Set within a gorgeous manor home, service was impeccable, cocktails creative and delicious, food as you would expect from Daniel Boulud. We went for brunch and would have returned for dinner if there was a reservation available! Seriously though, the staff was just awesome. I asked if they knew the brand of one my cocktail glasses (beautiful hand crafted textured glass with thick gold rim) and they went to go check their inventory books! So nice. Would 100% return.
Beautiful location with award winning chef at the helm with an amazing team
Great attention to details without being stuffy
We have visited twice now - once for dinner and then for brunch.
Hope to go back once more
Beautiful ambience and thoughtful menu. Lovely service.
Great service and food as well. Been there 3 times this month!!
Another awesome date night -- food was great, service was great.
Simply fantastic. We have gone 3 times since Covid and have felt very safe each time. The food is always outstanding and atmosphere peaceful and tranquil. Love it!!
Food was very good. The only reason I’m not saying excellent is because one of our appetizers (octopus) was dry and tasteless and our main course should have been warmer. However, the replacement for the octopus (trout gravlax) was excellent and the main course was very good even though a bit cool. We ate dinner on the patio in the autumn and the colors were glorious. Since it was windy, there weren’t many other diners outside. We would definitely return.
Our experience was a little disappointing. The service was good. I preordered two bottles of wine. It would have been nice to have our Waiter or the Sommelier explain the wine to me and my guests. They poured it without so much as mentioning what it was. I spent over $250 on the wine. The food quality was average. I have eaten in his Flagship restaurant in NYC and in multiple offshoots and have never been disappointed in the food. Some of my most memorable meals were at these establishments. I ordered the lobster dish. It was absolutely beautiful to look at but the flavor had a hint of something off putting. It was almost like a hint of gas. It was disappointing. The appetizer and the deserts were delicious. The bill with tip was over $825.00. It really should have been a better experience. I will surely give it another try though.
Dinner was an extraordinarily pleasant experience with a real sense of occasion
So romantic! And the sommelier was very impressive and knowledgable about the wines. Food was delicious, the cocktails were astounding. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Perfect place to celebrate an event - it was our 33rd anniversay! Food is delicous and the presentation is beautiful. Lovely and safe outdoor dining.
One of the few places that don’t use COVID as an excuse to drop the ball. The duck confit exceeded my very high expectations ...which with duck is virtually impossible.
Great service and setting too. Not cheap, but still a great value for the Pre fixe menus
Absolutely amazing fine dining experience. Every morsel of the food was flavorful. The entire experience was top notch.
Outstanding in every way. Cannot rave enough! 😊
Everything about the experience was wonderful. From the food to the service (our server Greg was absolutely wonderful) to their Covid precautions. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend it to everyone.
Extraordinary food, the Boulud standard, in a lovely setting with excellent service.
Everything about our brunch was lovely. My only complaint was that I can't have dairy and gluten and I'm pretty sure I had both.
Excellent Fall brunch with friends. Sat outside among the beautiful scenery.
Amazing food served by gracious and well-trained staff in a gorgeous dining atmosphere.
