Named after the small huts that Burgundy winegrowers have within their vineyards, the feel of the restaurant is that of a traditional local bistro in the French countryside. With traditional dishes and modern twists, the seasonal menu and daily specials will showcase the very best ingredients.
Open Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner, Cabotte also has two Private Dining Rooms available for exclusive hire for groups between 6 and 40 people. With menus available for sit-down, canape parties or walkaround tasting events, the Central location is ideal for any corporate or social occasions.
Just the most wonderful experience as always! Love this place, the staff are just amazing and the food and Burgundian wine are incredible. There is literally nothing not to like.
Such a fantastic and unique French restaurant in the City and now one of my favourites in the UK.
Wonderful and friendly service. Very knowledgeable about wines.
Excellent food, friendly staff. Top notch for business lunch or dinner. Great wine list.
The service was great and the waitress team really nice! Again, thank you for your welcome :)
Really excellent food. Beautifully served. One of the best in the City
Great place to eat with high quality food. Would have more options for vegitarians however.
Another wonderful Friday evening spent at Cabotte where the staff making you feel like you’re at home and you’ve been friends forever! Great service, friendly and clever front of house, delicious food! Obviously the wine list is stunning. I can’t wait to return, thank you!!
Always a pleasure to eat in this small friendly authentic French restaurant with great food and lovely staff.
My second time here and it is simply excellent fantastic wine list enthusiastic and friendly service and great food, highly recommend.
Lovely to be back at Cabotte. Food, service and wines as terrific as ever. Well done in difficult times. A little reminder of normality
The service was amazing! Great food, lovely wine recommendation by Alfredo, the restaurant manager. They were adherent to the 10pm close time rules, and asked & provided menu in advance for desert around closing time to allow the customers enough time to get desert. Was a great experience overall - one for recommendation!
Food was wonderful. Lovely feel to the restaurant. Loved the decor.
Although the food is very good ( simple and shortened menu ) which I like very much ...I go to Cabotte for the wine list - a one page menu followed by a 30+ Page wine list ! I love coming here for that very reason and have been looking forward to going again all through lock down. The wines were superb but the only very small complaint I had was that there was no Sauternes on offer on the night.
staff was kind and friendly
the food and wines were amazing :)
The City streets outside are almost deserted, but in Cabotte there is still a warm welcome, and impeccable and friendly service. The menu is simple, but ingenious, and there is also an off-menu choice. A sumptuous selection of wines. On my last visit, the monkfish and the lamb were done to perfection. A fantastic restaurant for any occasion.
Lovely people, great atmosphere and authentic French food. I am very fond of this place - do give it a try!
Fifth visit and always consistently excellent
City lunch like good old times. Great wine selection and fantastic food. Squid was amazing. Best Tarte tartin I’ve ever eaten.
Outstanding. Great food. Obscene (good value) Burgundian wine list. Sommelier knows his stuff.
Excellent meal and service, handling the social distancing in friendly manner
Another great meal at Cabotte with great selection of wine
It’s a must, the service...A* I took my girlfriend for a birthday dinner on the 26th and I must say we were blown away. The Attitude and service we received was great Right from the start to the finish, equally the food was top notch. Now my lady trust me to plan a date night lol. I’ll definitely be going back. I recommend this place 100%
A favourite of ours that never ceases to impress. I almost don’t want to let the proverbial cat out of the bag as to how good this place is because I always want to be able to get a reservation. Fantastic value for money on some exceptional burgundies and beautifully prepared food. A real gem.
First visit to Cabotte & was welcomed enthusiastically. Service was top notch the whole evening. Food to die for. Didn’t drink so can’t comment on wines. Would definitely recommend & am hoping to get back soon.
Excellent food, excellent wine (and recommendation), excellent service and athmosphere!
Amazing again, thank you so much for a lovely evening..!
The food was great, but the portions were a little on the small side. With the Eat Out discount however, I have no complaints regarding this, but for full price the portions could have been better.
Service was amazing and overall I would dine here again.
We had a pleasant meal - the starters were great as was the pudding (Tarte Tatin). We had beer as the wines were too expensive (What happened to house wines?)
We liked the service and there was a good atmosphere
The food was delicious, the services was great and we had a really good night!
Fantastic service, wonderful food as always. We were well looked after. A lovely meal with friends. Thank you for a wonderful evening
Delicious food (loved the tomatoes) and great service as always
My first visit after restaurants reopened on 4 July. Food and service were as excellent as ever!
Always lovely food, friendly, helpful staff. Quiet as few diners due to the current situation. People need to get out and go to these restaurants. They have the measures in place.
A treat to dine out, having lovely food and attentive staff.
Great start to ease of Lockdown. Wonderful gem in the city
Very friendly, wonderful food and an amazing wine list, specialising in Burgundy.
Service is amazing. Food was a let down. Had the tuna appetiser which was cut too thick and in correctly cut which made it sinewy. The tomato side dish is just 2 Tesco tomatos covered in pepper and oil which destroyed all tomato flavour and the pork was not cooked on a pan hot enough to sear the fat and they didn’t give correct utensils. However the wine was lovely and the wait staff were very attentive. Really wanted to like it but the food is not worth the price. Sorry
Great evening with great food, excellent advice and generally very positive atmosphere.
Always a pleasure to dine here, hands down one of my absolute favourite restaurants in London. The best collection of burgundian wines, together with an amazing team full of passion for what they do and the food and wine they serve. Despite being heavily invested in the wine offerings, I find the food here more than stands up to the encyclopaedic wine list. I like the fact that the menu doesn't have a hundred and one dishes on it, and everything produced is cooked to a high standard, without detracting in any way from the wines (vice versa). The varying specials are always worth checking out, alongside that incredible tarte tatin. With Alfredo at the helm, Cabotte has a very special place in my heart indeed. Keep up the good work Cabotte team, i count on you in these turbulent times!
Fabulously attentive staff, delicious food accompanied by the most glorious wine selection.
Incredibly rushed service when there was no need and no pressure for us to give up the table. Mains were served just minutes after starters were cleared. Toilets unclean (including no toilet paper!) no assistance to get our coats at the end and no goodbye from any staff. Very disappointing from a service angle which completely took the shine off otherwise competently cooked food (although the puff pastry on top of the chicken pie was very undercooked: barely crispy on top but doughy underneath)
