The last few times have been the worst! Food was cold, service slow and we won’t be back anymore. We’ve dined here at all different times from lunch to early and late dinner and high and low season and it really doesn’t matter- it’s never a great experience! Too bad!
Made a reservation and checked in. Requested a booth and the girl told me she would call me when a booth came available. I noticed people waling in and being seated and when I went back inside to find out why I was not called about my table, the girl responded "I thought it text you." Had I not walked in when I did I would have had to wait a lot longer because they were seating the booths that we were waiting for. On my way to the table I asked the girl to get the manager I waited a while and when no manager came to my table I went to the girl and asked if she told the manager I wanted to see them her response was "I thought you were asking your server." I told her, "No I told you on the way to the table I wanted to see a manager immediately." The manager came to the table and didn't really do anything to make our experience better than what it started off being. Been there plenty of times and there are great managers and obviously not so great managers. Think the front end needs a little more training on reservations and seating when you have a reservation waiting outside (where the staff at the door told them to wait).
Not the best experience but not the worse either. Just wish the manager would have been a little more understanding and helpful with regard to our complaints.
The food was mediocre at best. Appeared to have been frozen and then warmed. Very little flavor. Chips and salsa were the best part of the meal. Ambiance was poor, thought I was in an open warehouse. Noise level was far beyond my liking.
Overall, I would not return to this restaurant. Mexico it is not!
Great food & great service!🥰
We met friends at Cabo Flats and we all enjoyed ourselves.
Waited a little for refills of my tea and dressing but otherwise very nice evening with friends!
Great. Everything is great. Food and service were perfect for our last meal there. Watch out for smokers in the bar area if you want to actually enjoy fresh air in your lungs.
Service was fine and the outdoor seating is lovely, but the food was not good
Though restaurant was pretty empty our server was always MIA. Took forever to give orders and get orders. She wasn’t around when we needed check to leave
The tacos were tasty. The Margheritas were pretty good, the guacamole was very good. The music was really good
We had fun together which was the reason we went out
You can always tell a well managed restaurant by the way they handle a "situation". We waited over 1/2 hour for our food, while all the other tables seated after ours received theirs. Our waiter, Daniel was very attentive and very apologetic and kept running back to the kitchen. He even got the manager involved who asked if he could get us something while we waited. Finally our food came and it was delicious. Daniel again asked what they could do for us, and we mentioned a guacamole appetizer for next visit would be good. After speaking with the manager, Daniel came back out with a coupon for the guacamole PLUS a 10% discount card for a future visit. They both turned a bad situation into a very pleasant one, and we will be back for sure!!
Always a nice consistent Mexican restaurant. Great marquerittas
Best happy hour in town! Love the Thursday nacho special😊
Did not realize this restaurant was a sports bar . Waiter got order wrong , food mediocre , ambiance non existent.
Mediocre food at fare price. Fajitas were greasy, served without any sides, only miniscule amounts of guacamole, sour cream and pico. Excellent chips and salsa. Good happy hour prices.
Absolutely terrible experience. I don’t even want to wast my time reviewing. From messing up the order (multiple times) to a mojito gone full tequila water, this was a horrible experience. People smoking up a storm while I’m trying to enjoy a meal, no warning we were in a smoking area. The service was slow and not great. The tacos tasted like dirt. 2/10, will never eat there again.
Limited menu for vegetarians, tortilla soup was just a jazzed up tomato soup, not real Mexican tasting.
Would probably not go back
We eat there often, especially with the grandchildren. Always order the guacamole, sometimes 2 bowls. Portions r large, food tasty, kitchen accommodating , cocktail menu is large and the beer is a frequent choice.
The food was very good and came out in a timely manner. The server we had was great , stayed on top of his service with us and very friendly.
After reading some mediocre reviews, we were very pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was attentive and service was pleasant and prompt. The avocado fries, device & street corn appetizer was delicious. The rest of the meal was quite good and prices are reasonable.
Just great! Generous drinks, super service, fine food!
Great food at a great price!
We had fish tacos and steak quesadillas. The tacos (3) each had a nice sized grilled filet with a delicious slaw. The quesadillas were filled with steak and cheese and were also delicious. We ate outside on a beautiful evening. The only downside is that the birds are truly annoying as they fly around the tables and land on empty chairs at your table and the empty tables next to you. I'm not sure how you prevent that, but I don't seem to have that problem at other outside seatings. But the food and service were excellent.
Service was horrible. Food was at best decent. Waited 10 minutes for peppers by then food was cold. Waitress did not seem to be worried or in Rush fo fix anything. Ordered a margarita salt in 1/3 of rim. Brought me an empty salt rimmed glass for me to try and pour myself.
Pleasantly surprised with great food and ambiance. We were seated immediately and server was very pleasant.
Very busy Saturday night. Made reservation on line so we were able to be seated immediately. Great server - very attentive without being bothersome. Food was exactly what we wanted.
We were dining out with family for a festive birthday dinner. The restaurant can be a bit noisy and busy but that can also be part of it’s festive atmosphere. We were seated promptly and wait staff was there in minutes to take a drink order.. LOVE their frozen margaritas!! They are generous with salsa and chips to start and the freshly made guacamole is delicious and worth the add on. Fajitas were very tasty but a bit short on the protein, in our case shrimp or chicken , few peppers, and heavy on the onions. The burrito had by another diner was generously sized and tasty, as was the quesadilla. By the time we left, the place was hopping and the noise level quite high! Dining outside might be more comfortable in that regard.
I hate to write this but it was dirty. Hostess brought us to a booth and the seat was littered crumbs and sticky...we went to another booth which was also all set for new customers and the seat and the floor were even more littered with crumbs, papers and silverware that has dropped on the floor. It looked like 12 little children ate there before us and the booths were never cleaned...just the still sticky table top.....Food just fair. Margarita good but cocktail was all ice. Very accommodating when we requested guacamole without onion and it was good. Sorry but not our best experience.
Nice ambiance and location with a very good and unique preparation of Mexican dishes.
I have been here a couple of times and it was good, but this visit was terrible. It did not appear to be that crowded, but we had very slow service for everything from the drinks, chips and salsa, and the food. When the food finally did come out it was wrong on one order and all of it had obviously been sitting for a while before being brought out. Very disappointing. I keep searching for a decent Tex-Mex place here in south Florida, this was a potential option, but not sure after this last visit.
Adequate for quick, local Mexcian food. However, the restaurant was about half empty and it took a while for drinks and food to arrive...but that is par for the course every time we have been her. Also, the server should've been more attentive considering how empty the restaurant was. Good..but not Great.
The food was average. Service so so. Wouldn’t return.
We had "Taco Tuesday." good, but no bargain as they were quite small. Margaritas were $9.00 each, quite a price. Good service We will try again
Service was exceedingly slow despite the restaurant being half empty. Server was stretched to much and was unable to serve us properly. Took at least 20 minutes just to get our drinks and then another 45 minutes to get our food. Server recognized the unusual amount of time and gave us a small discount, which was appreciated.
Tortilla soup? Was not edible ... cream of tomato soup with chicken nothing else ... mgr subbed out for salad ... mediocre at best.
Horrible experience! Service was terrible food was ordered all wrong. Will never go back.
Don’t waste your time or money on this place… Cold food. Watered down drinks. Won’t be back.
Service was slow
The last few times I was there I encountered syicky
Very poor service. Had to get our own set ups after asking several times. Never brought some of the beverages we ordered. Never cleared the appetizers. After 90 minutes still did not receive food. Spoke to the manager and left
Food was good, but not exceptional. I had enchiladas which were a little on the bland side, but texture and presentation were good. Guacamole was very good as were the chips. Service was slow, and my tortilla soup (tasty but thicker than I was used to, as well as a skimpy portion for the price) was served along with my meal. It took a while for our entrees to come so I didn't send it back. Looks like they were understaffed, especially for an early Saturday evening, but the food was generally good.
Not as good as it has been, service was great ... food below pair ... restaurant lost all 3 of the General Managers ans most of the servers ... too bad they were a great crew ...
