Bugsy and Meyer’s Steakhouse - Flamingo Las Vegas

Introducing the latest addition to the “Forever Fabulous” Flamingo Las Vegas, the all-new Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse will transport guests back to the resort’s vintage roots while serving a fresh and intriguing steakhouse experience in a modern way. Guests will be transported from the moment they arrive, as they enter through the “bakery” façade and past the dry aged meat cooler, giving the illusion of discreetly entering through the back as many did decades ago. Once inside the steakhouse proper, an eye-catching dining experience awaits. In collaboration with designers Studio K Creative out of Chicago and renowned designer Jonathan Adler, the restaurant boasts a variety of atmospheres, including the main bar, patio dining, the bustling main dining room, three private dining rooms and a raw bar. Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse is a one-of-a-kind destination steakhouse, much like its resort’s origins, in menu, design and atmosphere. Bugsy and Meyer would approve.

This is our second time at Bugsy and Meyers, we liked it so much the first time we decided to go back. Our only issue was the hostess station. This area is the first impression of this establishment so please keep this in mind when customers arrive.

Lovely decor if they will seat you in a decent area, not the horrible patio with everyone walking by. Our server was fantastic, however for price the portions were small and the $17 baked potato was burnt and disgustingly inedible. The beautiful complimentary birthday dessert was delicious. I personally won't go back but if you enjoy overpriced steak houses, it is worth trying once.

We ate here after our wedding and everything was phenomenal. The best steak we have ever had and our waitress was amazing and so sweet! The golden potatoes and brussel sprouts were fantastic.

The food is fantastic, the rib cap, the braised short ribs, the cocktails, all excellent. But my favorite part is our server Rachel. Like me, she is from Hawaii. I have eaten there over 6 times in a 5 month period, its always fantastic, and so is Rachel. I have like a new friend for life.

First time at this steakhouse and we weren’t disappointed. Some of us remember the old Flamingo coffee shop that was there and the memorabilia was fun. Excellent French onion soup! The Caesar salad was good. Ribeyes we’re perfectly prepared. Mushrooms were more than enough for the four of us as well as the Brussels sprouts and potato. Okay wine selection. The desserts were interesting but the port was quite nice too. Excellent service.

Outstanding Dinner. It was our first time and definitely not our last. We were worried about the recent negative reviews. One should never seek out outstanding Steak Houses and expect them to be cheap. The seafood tower for 2 was a phenomenal beginning for the 4 of us and a much better deal than ordering 4 appetizers especially with king crab, lobster, shrimp and oysters all present. Then our waiter made entre recommendations which 2 of my group followed. Then I just requested 2 seafood add ons to my husbands beef entree which added up to $50. They were a shrimp scampi with huge shrimps(4-5) and King Crab Oscar which included asparagus. We shared a caesar salad which was really enough for all 4 of us and also shared Lobster Mac and cheese. We had enough left over that I took 2 boxes home to snack on. One more final comment was the rolls which were criticized in previous review. They were delicious and thankfully not so huge that would have ruined our appetite for everything else. Kudos and my apology to the wonderful waiter whose name I forgot. Drinks Dinner and gratuities for 4 was $600 and worth every dollar! Mimi and Mike from Oregon

Great Service...

Steaks overpriced - even for Vegas

Very loud environment - part of the restaurant opens to a Hotel walkway crowded with guests

Wine markup is outrageous -again even by normal Steak restaurant standards

The service and ambiance were amazing! Our drinks were delicious, but unfortunately the meal was subpar. Which is unfortunate because it’s a really cool restaurant. The steak was not seasoned well and came out undercooked, which was corrected, but ended up being overcooked when the situation was attempted to have been remedied. Our server was great and very helpful, but I probably wouldn’t eat here again for an “ok” meal.

The waiter was great, defenitely a 5 out of 5.

I just think this was terrible value.

Was not impressed with a $78 dollar steak ordered medium rare. coming out medium well. They brought a new one and while it was more to temperature, the marbled fat was not melted and the steak was not juicy. I cook a ribeye better than this one was. Lots of other steakhouses in Vegas to go to instead.

Unfortunately the aged NY Strip and Prime Rib-eye were chewy and did not meet our expectations. They had good flavor but I would of expected a better cut of meat and not tough meat when that is what the restaurant specializes in. On a good note, the cheesy potatoes and Brussel Sprouts were very good and you could split them between two people. Our waiter,Kevin, did a good job and was attentive.

Food was really good, just not a good value. They bring out "bread" which is just basically a dinner roll. Then if you want another it is $8.50 per roll. Everything is ala cart so be ready to pay for everything. A sauce for your steak will run $5.50 and they give you about 3 tablespoons of sauce. A side of Au Gratin potatoes will set you back $17.00 and was about 4 decent size bites.

As for the ambiance... we were not seated in the main dining area so we got to see people coming to and from the Linq, smell the smoke, hear them screaming and carrying on. So needless to say this was not the greatest Anniversary dinner.

Truly an amazing experience. Our server was incredible and the food was drool worthy. We had complimentary drinks for our honeymoon and the waiter’s suggestions did not disappoint. I was also trying to surprise my husband by ordering his favorites while he was in the restroom and no matter how many times my husband tried to order our waiter distracted him😂 a great diversion. Would have made a reservation again but they are full for the rest of our stay.

Under cooked our $120 steaks, then refired them to a char, making filet mignon exterior tough to chew while tasting nothing but char. Manager didnt replace and still charged for them. Lobster mac n cheese was watery & of cheap quality. Only amazing thing was coconut shrimp. 191 anniversary dinner a bust. Most expensive place weve ever eaten in vegas and was by far the worst quality.

Our server was wonderful and food was amazing. We were seated on their "patio" area overlooking the people coming and going from the pool area, partying and smoking so that kind of ruined the mood for a $300 dinner. For a special occasion, ask to be seated inside.

The food wasn't that great, it's the first time I've had to spit out a piece of lobster tail because it was so chewy I couldn't swallow it and listen I'm a fat guy and I don't spit food out.

Very good seafood tower and decent tomahawk steak. Price point was Vegas normal for a higher end steak house. Overall ambiance was not great as at no point did I feel like I was in a speak easy or higher end period restaurant. I felt like I was at the back of the Flamingo, eating good food as people walked by to the Linq. Which is where I was. So overall it was good, but certainly not special.

I didn’t like that they put clear back in the speak easy area it was dark and my husband chair was broken and they brought out just random chair. They didn’t ask if we wanted to sit clear back there. So was not a fan probably will not eat there again.
