The service was extremely good, so was the food and the entertainment. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The meat was cooked exactly as requested, presentation was great. We left extremely pleased.
Good service from waiter, quality menu and nice ambience. Unfortunately my steak that was ordered medium rare was cooked inconsistently with most of it being very rare, seems odd in a world of sous vide cookers...there was also
a longer than expected delay between the mains and the sides being served. Overall a nice place, but was disappointed on this particular dining experience.
Great service! Our meat was excellent (true medium rare!) but the Brussels sprouts were way too oily :(. The chino chimichurri was delicious too.
Too expensive, food's not that great. For an empty restaurant, they were out of most of the stuff we wanted to eat. Very overpriced for the taste of good.
Buenos Aires Grill in Seattle needs to improve its service and quality of food. The service is extremely and annoyingly slow. The empanadas were a huge disappointment, they were not very tasty, the Chorizo empanada was particularly bad, they were served deep fried and they tasted like frozen deep fried bean and cheese burritos. The Milanesa Trio was beautifully presented and worth taking a few pictures, unfortunately the steak was very tough and lukewarm. The Churrasco was also a nice looking dish but since it was lukewarm The taste wasn’t great. The Matambre al Horno was a mouthwatering looking dish and had a very tender and flavorful steak but it was on lukewarm side. The desert was very good. I can go out of my way any day of the week just to eat their deserts
Need to work on food temp, some items were cold. Also server was amazing, but bus staff were over-attentive but made assumptions about how to handle take home (assumed one box). Made for some awkward moments in a lovely evening.
Food was delicious and totally worthwhile for Seattle Restaurant Week. Matambre al horno was flavorful with all the different layers. The black cod fish was extremely tender. Empanada fugazzetta, arugula mustard salt, flan, and panqueque con dulce de leche were tasty too. The ambiance was amazing, large space with beautiful art and delightful tango music in the background. The food is a bit on the pricier side, so Restaurant Week made it a perfect opportunity to try the place out.
Went here for SRW on a Monday, it was overall a great experience. All 3 courses were amazing. Can’t comment on the actual ambiance and noise level of the restaurant as it seemed like a slower night than usual. Definitely on the list of restaurants to go back to.
Great birthday experience that accommodated my best friends birthday. Amazing service!
Food was really good
But service was very poor,
Take time to take the order
Also I asked for wine and they brought with no ice container for that bottle, and the end I ask for a coffee and my coffee never show up,,
I believe the waiter need to put more attention for better service .
Meat is so tender. Highly recommended!! The dessert is just ok though. Too sweet.
We so enjoyed our first experience at Buenos Aires Grill! We took advantage of the Seattle Restaurant Week so our three course meal was $35 each, a bargain for what we selected. The Matahmbra Al Horno was sublime, and the flan was sooooo perfect (the menu claims out is the chef's grandmother's recipe).
The wait staff are fun and very helpful - we moved tables twice because the setting sun was blinding us!
Apparently they have Tango dancers for entertainment on weekends but we were there on a Tuesday.
Terrible meal and service for six people. All of us were disappointed which is pretty hard to do. I would not recommend this place, nor return.
They seem to in transition to make it better. Can't wait to see how it all comes together
Steaks were great. One of our party was gluten free which was no problem, and the server was very attentive to this. He also was very knowledgeable about the wine list a recommended a very nice bottle of red.
We arrived about 30 mins early and 10 mins before the grill actually opened for service (the Tango bar was already open) but the team were really accommodating and seated up almost straight away. The food was immense, our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly making the dining experience something we’d highly recommend.
Good food and great atmosphere and service is excellent the meat is fresh and delicious I love the variety in the menu is very good
Excellent meal, except when they served the "side" of fries right on top of the mixed grill.
The Food was great and the price was very affordable.
Lively atmosphere with good Spanish music to listen to. Its somewhat loud. The food is very good big portions. The math potatoes for one can feed three
Exceptional service from Keegan. Our appetizers and entrees were quite good, and excellent value for the price. Only quibble would be the salad bar, which feels like an afterthought. Overall, a wonderful slice of Seattle!!!
Intimate atmosphere, delicious parillada, great experience. The tango dancers on weekends exotic touch. Have been before and will be back. One of our favorite restaurants in the world!
Service is really slow. It took about 1 hour + to get our food. We could have easily finished the food within 30 minutes, but because of the wait, we stayed for at least 2 hours. Food is good though, the meat sampler dish is very good in quality and price. We got it for 3 people and it can definitely feed 4-5 people. The brussel sprout and kale dishes were just ok, nothing spectaculr. The shrimp and scallop dishes were delicious. Overall, if it wasn't for the slow service, the rating would be higher.
My fiancé and I came here to celebrate an early
anniversary dinner together and it was just what we were looking for. We wanted to explore our palates with a new flavor and this Argentine gem hit the hammer on the nail. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was divine and the food and DESSERT were exceptional. We definitely got our money’s worth from this place and I would recommend to anyone wanting to try a take on Argentine food.. very authentic.
The food here is fantastic. We loved the Empenadas! Can't wait to go back!
Just OK. Nice wine list. Food prepared well but some things were overcooked. Advertised as BsAs Grill & Tango Bar, but tango show offered only on Fridays and Saturdays, and inconsistent tango music throughout the evening. (Show, when available) is only dancing in between the tables. Have frequented and been hired by tango restaus, bars, and clubs that were better.
Steak was flavorless, overcooked, and chewy. The rest of the meal wasn't much better.
The dancers were quite interesting though, and our server was very attentive.
We were in town for a Real Estate Conference. The food was amazing. Having the live tango dancers was the best part of the experience. Wish they had one in Scottsdale, AZ.
The Tomahawk rib eye was wonderful and flavorful and more than enough for 2 people. The service was great. Would definitely go back.
As always, Buenos Aires was a treat. Amazing food, terrific service and that Tango is terrific.
As authentic an Argentine parrillada as you'll find outside of Argentina and Miami (says this Argentine). Wonderful deserts. Limited wine selection (particularly Argentine wines which are few and not very well chosen) and very, very slow service.
Our group of 4 going to a concert made early reservations. They were ready for us and we had a choice of booth or table. We chose the table but the chairs were a bit hard and would opt for the booth next time. Food was very good but I've only given it 4 stars due to a strange pr-dinner cocktail that tasted a bit off. Very nice and affordable wine list with many Argentinian & Chilean selections. One of our party's dinner entree was late in coming and the waiter was very nice and comped a glass of wine. The flan for dessert was considered by everyone to be the best they'd ever tasted. We will be going back to try some of their other choices. Make sure to have something that comes with the sweet potatoes which were perfectly cooked - thick slices crispy on the outside. Yum!
It was an amazing experience. Loved all the food and how friendly they all are. Will be coming back for sure
The food was truly delicious. Churasco , pollo, sweet potatoes, garlic fries, mashed potatoes all amazing!
It's a shame because this place has great potential. The atmosphere is great but everything else not so much.
In general it seems like they pre cook and pre portion everything out. The food is NOT fresh/ cooked to order.
What we ordered:
Empanadas: they were great!
Lasagna - frozen in the middle. Other than that it was ok. You can tell it wasn't made today.
NY Strip- ordered med well, came out medium and with no seasoning. Thankfully we ordered chimichuri on the side. The veggies that came with it were very sad looking and cold.
Our waiter was also the bartender who had 16 people at the bar. So they must be understaffed. He didn't stop by nearly enough. I had the cold lasagna sitting in front of me for a good 15 minutes.
If Gordon Ramsey came in here under cover it would make for an entertaining episode. This restaurant needs help.
Excellent food, great professional service
Food was excellent, waiter was very friendly and attentive, and atmosphere was pretty cool. If we lived in Seattle and weren't just visiting, we'd be regulars.
We had the cowboy steak and the matahmbre. Both were delicious! The ambiance and service were top notch. A very enjoyable outing.
occasional tango dance - surprised at the number of wardrobe changes...
It was a pleasant surprise. Dinner was great really enjoyed the calamari !
