Food on the prix fixe menu is a bit limited but each of the courses was tasty and enjoyable. Good attentive service and the restaurant is located in a swish part of town. Bit pricey for what it was but overall an enjoyable experience.

I do not write reviews usually. But i have been to this restaurant several times and it deserves my review! It never changes, excellent food, very good value for money. Superb service and very kind helpful generous staff.
A very good position in London to attend almost any theatre. The ambience excellent with soft musicians playing in the background.

Set menu. Underseasoned pork terrine. Smoked haddock with pureed peas. I dislike pureed fresh or frozen peas as they are far too sweat. Side order of mash nice but almost cold. One white wine under £30. Dessert from table of cakes. Coffee and walnut, and white iced sponge, nothing special. Won't be rushing back. Very friendly service.

An excellent dining experience.
From the welcome on arrival to our leaving after a leisurely dinner with friends, our experience at Brumus in Haymarket was excellent.
The service was friendly and attentive and the food beautifully prepared. Before ordering we were informed of the daily specials and asked if anyone had any allergies. The staff even offered us tastings of alternative wines to help us to decide what to order.
This was our first visit to Brumus but we will certainly return.

Brumus is a favourite restaurant, the feel is
relaxed and we enjoyed a quality experience. All food of a very good standard just right after a visit to the National Gallery.

Fantastic service throughout the entire time we were there. We started with drinks at the bar that were taken to our table when we were ready to eat. We had the set menu which is very very reasonably priced for central London. The cake table had some delicious cakes. Would love to eat here again on another visit.

Fixed meal excellent value and highly recommend raspberry tart. Service began really well. Was a bit sketchy as evening progressed
Happy to let us sample wines but rather than work within budget they pushed upwards! Food excellent value but wines are pricey. That said our main waiter was great. And I would return despite playing live jazz - not my taste!

Still a great restaurant and bar with a great vibe but it has become a bit over priced. On this particular visit the food was also overly salty.

We went to Brumus for the set menu for lunch. The starter and main course were both excellent (we had the pork belly for mains). The dessert was a choice of cake from the cake table. We had the chocolate cake and the sponge cake with berries. Both were mildly disappointing compared to the savoury courses. The decor was attractive and made it a pleasent place to be. The service was good, but not quite the usual very high standard in top end restaurants. The value was outstanding because we had the set menu including the glass of wine/Prosecco offered with it (Prosecco with our Open Table offer). Otherwise wine would have been pricey. I would thoroughly recommend having the set menu here, but can't recommend either the chocolate or the sponge and berry cake. Maybe one of the other cakes is better.

It's a great spot for an intimate dinner - not so busy that you're sitting on top of people and not so quiet that you feel awkward. Delicious food and good value set menu.

I dined at Brumus twice -- Lunch and Dinner. Both occasions gave me and my friend happy time. Selection of wine is very good and beautifully displayed desserts give guests extra fun to make a choice.
The service is excellent and foods and wine served in perfect timing. The staff are very friendly. There is no laud music which allowed us to chat peacefully and seats are very comfortable. Toilet is very clean as it is on hotel standard. I will go there more often.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Really good sensitive style of hospitality and food was delicious and fresh. I love that we had 2 hours to recover after a long and tiring journey and as it was really tipping it down we'd have had nowhere else to go. All staff were great but we particularly appreciated our cheerful and kind waitress from Greece. Thoroughly recommend as a pre theatre set meal. Excellent value.

Business lunch at Brumus. The food is bistro/cafe style and has something in common with the Wolseley and the Delaunay (altho no German sausages). My chicken schnitzel was crisp without being greasy, broccoli was still al dente (good) and the new potatoes had just the right level of buttery creaminess. Prices are as you would expect for the Haymarket, but this is several cuts above the run of chain restaurants (you know, all those that have just failed!) and much better value.

Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

Ambience is good, quiet, comfortable and the decor is quirky, although I struggled to find the theme. All in all a good place for a working lunch that requires lots of conversation.

A friend and I enjoyed a post-theatre Birthday dinner at Brumus on Saturday. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgable and the food was delicious! My friend requires a GF diet and the restaurant were very accommodating. The decor and ambience were exactly what we were looking for as we wanted to chat and dine somewhere that felt like a treat, but didn't feel stuffy or make us feel out of place.
We are already eyeing up the Afternoon Tea for our next visit.

Perfect location for a lunch pre-show at the Haymarket theatre. We took my grandmother there fior her 90th birthday, the staff were lovely, bringing out a slice of cake without being asked. The lobster tail starter was very good and the plaice for main pleasent.
