My mother's 99th b'day celebration was enjoyed by all. Staff kindly relocated our table to outside as it was quieter for her deafness. The food was excellent with catering for vegetarian and pescatarian attendees. An unexpected token gift to mum at the end was greatly appreciated. We'll be back.

We did the set menu for $80 each and it was amazing. Fantastic service and delicious food! Really loved the “waste oil” on sourdough - amazing flavour! We will definitely be back.

The food, wine and service was worthy of a Good Food Guide 2 Hat rating. Our waiter enhanced perfectly our food experience with his explanation of the ingredients and food preparation for the dishes presented. He should have a very successful career in the food service industry. Also the prices for the wine served were so moderate compared with most Melbourne restaurants. He also spoke so warmly of his employers. It is great to find the new generation of Browns maintaining the values of their parents and grandparents.

We booked for the long lunch with accompanying wines. From the moment we drove into our carpark the ambience was uplifting and inviting. Our waiter Jaycen was friendly and professional. The food was exceptional and each course paired with appropriate wines. An abundance of awesome flavours together with great service and terrific wines and great friends made for a most wonderful experience...highly recommended 😀

Thoroughly enjoyed the set menu three course lunch, the food was delicious and our table service was incredible - so informative and friendly - certainly made the experience five stars! This set menu provided the opportunity to sample foods that we normally wouldn't select from the menu, and our taste buds were certainly tantalised. Will definitely return very soon!

We were made to feel welcome from the get go. Our waiter Jason was terrific. He explained all the dishes in detail and provided advice about the wines for our selection. The food was a definite stand out. Beautifully presented, wonderful flavors and lots of variety. The wines complimented the food very well. Overall the afternoon was memorable and we will return. We booked the $80 pp lunch and shared a bottle of their dry Rosè. The service and explanations of the different courses by our waitress Celine was excellent. Each course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The rosè lived up to its reputation and went very well with the menu. The gardens and surrounds are so lovely and Mark doing our cellar door tasting was brilliant. All in all, a delightful experience.

A local favourite, Brown Brothers Restaurant rarely fails to completely satisfy. This was our second visit within the past month or so and we loved the combination of flavours offered in the degustation menu. We had matched wines this time and they all worked well with the dishes. Our servers were friendly and informative and we were more than satisfied with the overall experience.
