    A busy little Italian in the restaurant precinct, however, although busy, the service was excellent and our table was in back away from the front door and the usual foot traffic. The food, on the whole, was quite good, however, the Linguine di Mare, whilst well presented and the seafood fresh, had too much chilli in it - not a hint of chilli but so much that my wife couldn't eat it. The response to my comment regarding the chilli was to "ask for it mild next time". Were we in a Thai restaurant or an Italian restaurant? Seriously? Having said that, the rest of the meals were very good. I would go back again, but make sure I ask to go light on the chili.

    Had dinner there to catch up with friends. Dishes were lovely and so were the dessert, my friend highly praise the tiramisu, myself loved the king prawn starter. Our experience was great until we walked out, a staff member chased us accusing that we haven't pay for the dinner. She's still in doubt and asked "Have you?" even after the four of us all confirmed that we have definitely paid. We did paid in cash (that's the only excuse I could think of) as they have 1.6% surcharge for card which was made clear during booking.

    We have to wait outside in the freezing cold for 20 minutes because our table that was booked in advance was not free. The waitress went to the people in our table and told them we were waiting and they needed to leave. I should say that they have three empty tables. When food arrived was not for the three of us only for two and my husband got his pasta 25 minutes after us by then we were almost done. Two pizzas and a pasta are fast meals and should not be hard to serve together. The experience was not nice and the reviews don’t reflect the poor service in a busy weekend,

    The team at Briscola were great! The food was very nice. We booked at short notice for my wife's birthday, but they went out of their way to accommodate us. Fantastic!

    Great food and service, except for needing to be rushed out for the next seating (after just being asked if we wanted dessert by another staff member). They do advertise the 90 minute limit do no issues, though there were other empty tables. But a minor quibble for an otherwise excellent meal.

    It’s a really nice place, I spent a beautiful night with my family and the flavors was by far authentic and delicious. All in the restaurant gave me tradicional Italian cuisine.

    Poor on value for money.. 2 small pieces of bread for the bruschetta for $14.. really.. ?? Service was excellent though. Unfortunately will not be a return customer..

    This is a favourite. Good menu and good service. The owner is very personable and keeps a close eye on his customers. Good for a casual dinner or a special occasion. Can recommend the limoncello affogato. An oldie but a goodie, a sustained performance over a long period

    We were gathering as a group of eight and we had a great lunch. Staff were excellent, food choice was great, food delivered was timely and tasty, drinks were spot on and we really appreciated being able to each pay as we departed. Some of our group were able to stay on way past lunch time and were able to keep ordering drinks with out the staff being concerned or trying to move us on. All in all, a great experience.

    I’m actual shocked. This would genuinely have to be the worst food I’ve tasted in the last 5-10 years. Positives: Staff were relatively friendly and the restaurant was OK. Negatives: Literally make 1 pasta hand-made. What we ordered: Rissoto / Gnocchi / Bruschetta Ingredients are not fresh, they are frozen and/or come out of a packet. Flavourless, bland food that is NOT authentic nor fresh. I could almost guarantee if I walked out the back, 90% would be coming out of sealed bags. They’ve either lost there passion for cooking or gotten lazy. This is far from authentic Italian and portrays nothing stated on your website. I felt embarrassed taking my partner here for her birthday, and should of stuck to what we know. All the best. Oh and top of it all, they pay for 5 star reviews and have been reported to Google for misconduct. Hence the high rating.

    We absolutely love Briscola. Great service, incredible food and such a great atmosphere. Briscola is the best Italian food in Canberra!
