BRIO Tuscan Grille - Hallandale Beach - Gulfstream
Food was delish
We went to the restaurant on a Monday evening. The waitress told us the did not have the wine I ordered.
I then tried to order an appetizer and the waitress said they are out of that item.
Why put it on the menu when you don't have inventory.
Why did I have to wait to order to find out that they did not have it?
Poor Management kills restaurants faster then bad food.
The service was not good at all and the food was sub par at best. I have attended other brio’s and had never had this bad an experience.
Réservation a 19.00 pm et nous avons notre table a 20.10 pm..... Désastreux.....
Meal was not as good as usual
It took forever to order, long wait for the food. I was not even hungry anymore by the time food came out
Took to long for our food to come, to spite the fact that the restaurant was comparatively empty
A lovely evening
service was not good. we had to ask if we could get a drink when our apetizer arrived
beef carpaccio was excellent as usual but chicken limone was not as usual. chicken was too thick and roasted vegetables were almost raw carrots and broccoli.
not planning to return soon.
My husband and I alway enjoy dining at Brio when visiting Miami. I suggested the restaurant for my daughters and family. It was a big disappointment. I usually order carpaccio, so we ordered 2 for the table, to find out later that it wasn’t available, sold out! The pasta dishes were either spicy or no flavor at all. My grandchildren ask for deserts, none left. What’s wrong with that restaurant? We still ended up with a bill in the amount of $270 + tip. Very disappointed!
They cannot honor their reservations in a timely manner and they are severely understaffed. Food is okay when you get it but they need better management.
We add a reservation and had to wait 1 h. Tables where empty but not enough servers
We had a reservation for 7:00PM. Upon checking in, we were told it would be another 30 minute wait, and they would call me on my phone to let me know when a table was ready. 45 minutes later, we hadn’t been seated so we returned to the restaurant to check on the situation. We were told to leave as it was unlikely that we would be seated, despite there being many empty tables and many parties of 4 being seated before us (with later reservations). The food was not worth the wait. We will not be returning.
Would have been perfect except the chicken soup was too salty
New Year’s Eve
Una hora y media esperando a que nos den mesa con reservación desde hace más de un mes
Fue el 31 de diciembre 2019
Terrible service. Do not bother. We had a reservation for 9pm. We did not get seated until 10pm. Apparently, they have no seating limit so tables are allowed to sit and linger after paying their bill. Why take reservations? Food - mediocre. Portions are extremely small for the price.
We decided to have our family New Year’s Eve family dinner here and it was not good at all.
Even though I made a reservation weeks ahead, we had to wait almost an hour to be seated and another 30 minutes to have someone come to our table.
We got in right before the New Years rush and it was amazing. We were seated right away, the bread came as we were sitting and shortly our waitress came and took our orders. The food came out in less than 20 minutes we thought it was going to take longer.
Delicious as always
The chef simply put cucumber in my pasta instead of zucchini. Did you ever ate hot cucumber with pasta? It was horrible!!! Kind of mistake that a simple cook couldn’t do!!!
And after the meal the waitress brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert or coffee! Really I don’t recomend
Very dissapointing, we ´ve been celebrating my wife ´s birthday there for the past 6 years. We had a reservation at19:15 and had to wait more than half an hour just to be seated. Il was very unusual to see that many empty tables...and the girl mentionning that they have overbooked!!
We finally got the entries at 9 pm. The worst part was to see people leaving without paying after having been served only drinks after more than an hour. We then had to wait more than an hour for our steaks than we could see standing there under the heat warmer... Served with over baked potatoes, and backorder on brocolinni...that were later replaced by a plate of brocoli tips.
Our invites were served with cold lasagna not even roasted and overcooked pasta , what a shame for an italian restaurant!
Talked to manager, said that they were understaff and should of closed the restaurant that night as they were also short on food.
The restaurant was busy when we came in and got very busy during our dinner. Our server Marco was a little overwhelmed but managed to take care of us in a timely manner.
Food was really good - lobster ravioli a bit dry but overall goo, lots of lobster meat! Chicken Marsala was nicely done. Mushroom ravioli were a bit disappointing as they were sprinkled a lot with pepper (???) not sure why but not something that I will order again.
Food was good. Service very good.
Horrible customer service. The waiter gave us dirty bread plates, then not enough plates. We asked for more bread and when he finally brought it out the butter plate on top of the previous one with butter still on it. We ask for Parmesan for our meal and about 10 minutes later it finally came. Unfortunately what would have been a delicious meal was not nearly as good by the horrible service we received.
I am a frequent customer of this Brio location (and a loyalty rewards member) and always book with Open Table. Although I realize that a weekend evening between Christmas and New Years is busy, I have never had such a poor experience like I did this evening. I arrived at 7:00 for a 7:15 reservation. We were not seated until after 8:00! The manager at the front reception area, Gio, was rude to both the customers and his staff. He was yelling and telling everyone he was not seating anyone else for the rest of the evening! I understand that he is transferring to another Brio location and I truly pity them.
Once seated, it took time to get a waiter, although another manager did come to take our order. Both that manager and our waiter were very nice. The kitchen was so backed up that it took another hour to get our food. What should have been an hour and a half dining experience took three hours, and we didn’t even have appetizers or dessert!
Clearly, they had overbooked their capacity. Perhaps Brio and Open Table need better communication. I was extremely disappointed.
The food is mot filling and took us 2 hours to get our meal
service too long! and did not offer dessert card
Janet and Eric work their tails off. Always friendly and courteous. Remembers our drinks and our names Very impressive!!
The order took over an hour and when the food came to the table and it was still wrong. Others at the table food was cold and my food wasn’t cooked well done as asked. It was still pink/bleeding.
No food available
Our reservation was for 9:00 pm and we were seated at 10:00 pm. 1 hour later. There was no bread for the carpaccio and crackers either. We had to wait 20 minutes for the dessert
Being XMAS eve and all, it was a busy night. I was greeted by the nicest hostess and shortly thereafter was seated by the very friendly manager. The food took a while because of how busy things were but the manager checked on more than once. Offered us a salad, but then since the meal took so long he ended up comping our whole meal! The food was delicious and it was a fun night as the servers had on Xmas accessories. Merry Christmas!!!
They were not prepared for the amount of people they had on Christmas Eve . They were understaffed big time and although we had a reservation we had to wait 45 minutes to sit down. The food took forever to come out and the waiter got our order completely wrong . My son said the spaghetti and meatballs were “ disgusting “ and the “ worst he’s ever had “ and he refused to eat any of it after the first bite. I will not be returning to this restaurant .
I was warned by two people before I went that BRIO has changed and it wasn’t good anymore. I went anyways as I use to love certain dishes. Unfortunately the dishes I really liked were removed From their menu.
To be honest everything my party ordered was mediocre and two things were sent back. I have gone every year when visiting Florida for the last 4 years and I don’t expect to return to BRIO again.
It is sad when a restaurant goes from good to bad.
Excellent food and service!! A must visit place in Hallandale!
The food was delicious, except for my dried out chicken on the salad which was replaced, successfully. I would not typically write a negative review, but this was my favorite place to go. Now, the service was sorely lacking and the bar ran out of orange rinds and Malbec for our drinks. The restaurant had a lot of staff and about 10 tables to serve. Therefore, it was surprising that the waiter rarely came back to our table and we had to wait a long time for our food. People who appeared to be managers roamed around the floor and I was able to ask them for what we needed. It would have helped if they stopped by and asked us if we needed anything. We enjoy the food here, and might try one more time. I hope it improves.
Delicious as always!
