    The food was delicious but it was very noisy and busy. We would prefer a quieter atmosphere with less children but we also understand it’s a hotel. Some successful hotels in the city such as Sofitel have a totally different and much more pleasant ambience.

    We ordered two 500gm steaks medium/rare with chips and salad. One steak was fine the other was blue so we asked it be cooked a little more. Unfortunately the salad was gritty and tasted unwashed and the pepper sauce runny and not that nice to fair. Overall it was disappointing as it was a Mothers Day dinner and the previous visit we also had to send a dish back as it came out unfinished (the gnocchi - it was missing the blue cheese, walnuts and raisins).

    Great breakfast and great for families. Lots of things for children to do while parents have lovely breakfast with view of water. Accommodates large and small group and very affordable.

    Our booking was for 1.30 however our families were detained in traffic from Brisbane. The staff understood completely assuring us that they were aware of the problem. We then requested a more quiet table due to me husband’s hearing difficulty. “ not a problem” was the response. How understanding!

    Brightwater Hotel is our Go To place to have lunch alone or with friends. I am usually able to ask for and get an inside window table for two, four or six by booking with Open Table. The Seniors Meals have something for various tastes and though it doesn't change often, it is sufficient and tasty. My husband is a fish lover and always finds the fish meal fresh and very well cooked. We have a Seniors Dining card which is stamped with each main meal. The service is attentive and pleasant but not overpowering. The underground parking makes the visit very comfortable. We recommend it.

    We booked an inside table as we had a baby with us and when we arrived were told our table was outside. I was not very happy & told the seating attendant the booking was for an inside table. She found a table for us just inside in the doorway. It was a noisy spot & spoilt the night.

    Absolutely so happy with our time here, staff were superb and caring and food was excellent. They took very good care of us all and the view is just stunning. THANKYou very much to everyone who looked after us yesterday. We could not have been happier. ❤️

    The restaurant is spacious and has fantastic views of a lake in front and carpark underground. It has a menu that caters to all tastes and budget. The prices are reasonable. Best of all, the food came out hot and the chips were crispy outside and soft inside when my friends and I dined there.

    Ordered 3 meals. 3rd meal failed to arrive. Had to ask for it it had been sent to a different table!! The 2 of us had finished our meals by the time it arrived. No table number.staff was informed but didn't fix it . My meal_ladt time I had it ,it was a whole chicken breast. this one lucky to be a 3rd of a one. Really!! It's my local-or was. Not happy

    In our group one ordered a $40 ribeye steak which couldn’t be eaten due to being so tough it couldn’t be cut. It was sent back and a desert provided as compensation which was worth $12. The other meals were ok, but for a pub the prices were very high. $45 for a scotch filllet. We’ve eaten there a lot over the years since it opened but it’s is getting too expensive. Great venue and position and staff were very good. We will give it another try.

    From the minute you enter this venue you feel relaxed . The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the staff greet you with a smile and are only too happy to help. The food on arrival is well presented , the flavours are delicious !

    We decided to do our annual family Easter Celebrations at Brightwater Hotel this year for the ease and location for those travelling from Brisbane. The venue was clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good, however prices were a little high for what you get. Brightwater also advertised fun Easter activities for the kids but nothing exciting happened. Overall, it was a lovely, easy outing and we will be back again in the future.

    Always love it here.... whenever I have visitors, I bring them to Brightwater hotel for lunch, or dinner, or even just a nice relaxing drink
