We attended the French versus Italian progressive dinner and it was absolutely stunning! This was our first time at Bridgewater and will definitely be back.

We had the 5 course degustation menu including wines. Wontons were dry and sauce was to spicy. Scallops were great, Pork loin was terrible tough and covered with an average slaw,informed staff and kitchen asked would I like it cooked more? No just take it away. Duck breast was great good plating and nice flavour.dessert was average, seemed like an easy option. Front of house very good, food a let down from reviews and photos. Cannot recommend.Spoiled a special occasion.

Excellent service and good food, I think it’s not a Child Friendly restaurant but overall it’s a good option for a good dinner at the city.

Drinks and food were lovely. However menu limited for a Friday night with a few dishes on the menu not available. But was provided with a complimentary meal which was a lovely gesture.

Wow! Best degustation in all of North & Far North Queensland. We were absolutely blown away. Bridgewater catered to the dietaries of one member of our party with a smile and genuine interest. The sommelier was passionate about thorough explanation of every course pairing. Each course blew us away. The presentation, the layering of flavour on the palate, the attention to detail- we could taste the love in every bite. Port Douglas venues have such high chef turnover that it is often not worth the risk to invest in a degus because the quality is inconsistent. This hidden Townsville delight was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. We'll be back.

This is my most favourite restaurant in Townsville I take my family my girlfriends and my colleagues every chance I could. My go to place for special occasions and my guests have never been disappointed! Thanks especially to Eddy for always providing the best service ever!
