Bridge Road Brewers
Our venue is famous far and wide not only for its beer and food but a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere.
Our taproom showcases a rotating 20 tap house-brewed line-up featuring core range favourites and limited releases in a wide range of styles to cater for all beer lovers.
Beer's not your thing? We pour a curated selection of wine, gin, and whisky all local to the North East.
The Bridge Road pizzeria takes the Austrian Alps meets Northern Italian influence of co-founder Maria Kraus and puts it through the filter of the Victorian High Country, making for pizzas worthy of a road trip.
We love to celebrate local and seasonal produce where possible, and we’re proud to champion the best in our region.
Our head chef Sean Judd has a fabulous pedigree, having worked in some of Melbourne’s finest eateries.

Apple & Blue Cheese Pizza
Tomato, gorgonzola, apples, topped with local hazelnuts
Tomato, bocconcini, fresh tomato, chilli marinated prawns, garlic and goat feta
Local mixed leaves, apple, radish, spring herbs and vinaigrette
Very competent staff, all orders were a breeze and our group of 5 were seated fed and watered within 30-45 minutes
Nice and chilled environment for a late night dinner with some beers!
Personally not a fan of beers so can't really comment on their drinks, but their pizzas are okay.
very enjoyable evening. Great pizza, great beer! What else do you need to have a good time with your friends?
Booked in ok and we were shifted to a better table undercover which was great as it was showering
COVIDSafe check in all good
Went and ordered Pizza’s but the staff member was not accommodating to simple requests of no chilli on one pizza and we were hoping to get some hot chips or wedges but no we don’t serve them. It’s a brewery, it’s an Aussie staple chips or wedges. Wasn’t offered any alternative but later noticed someone with bagels. Ordered them but served cold.
Water glasses were that discoloured and appeared to be dirty. Desperately need replacement
Cutlery supplied without serviettes. Have to find those yourself and the plates
Luckily the pizza are very good and everyone enjoyed them.
Beers are great
Been here before but has definitely slipped in attention to detail and customer satisfaction. A shame that this has happened
Food was fantastic. Only complaint was the table was dirty & had to clean it ourselves.
We decided not to eat here due to the poor service we had received.
Booked a table for 2 on a Friday night at 6.30pm. Pleasantly surprised that it wasn't overly busy. Staff very friendly and efficient. Reminded us to sign in to the covid site. Ordered pizza to share plus salad, and a beer and cider. Pizza didn't take too long. Very tasty. Salad was quite large and also tasty. Staff reminded us to let them know if we were cold and they'd switch on the heater above our table. A lovely experience. Reasonably priced.
Good food, good service, great beer, outside courtyard in the sun was ideal
Food and service were excellent despite it being a busy wed night. Pizza was probably one of the best I've ever had!
Great ambience; quick friendly service good pizzas.
Check in was good and friendly. Drinks & Food order fine. Young bloke delivering pizzas having a bad day. Plonked pizza’s on table. Could almost be defined as dropped. Finished went to pay. Struggled to get tax invoice. Tax invoice was not correct! Bill appeared high. Made feel it was my fault. Beechworth was very busy people everywhere. Yet I booked with no worries. In hindsight maybe others have a similar experience.
I have two comments
1) We ordered an apple & blue cheese pizza. We couldn't find or taste any blue cheese on it. Is the cheese incorporated into the base?
2) A minor one. I was waiting at the bar a noticed a woman having a taste of a beer, it was a small amount of beer. When it was my turn to order I asked to have a taste of the beer I was thinking of getting. The guy serving me seemed a bit put out by my request and made a point of saying it would be a small amount of beer. I told him that's what I was expecting.
Awesome venue! Great selection of their own craft beers. Clever Pizza menu that allows for extra speedy service and happy customers. Can't wait to get back and visit soon.
Dinner and drinks at the restaurant during our holiday in the region.
Good beer and pizza. I tripped down a step- luckily didn’t hit the ground. The black and yellow markings on the edge of the step were very faded and need renewing
Food and service was very good. However it was disappointing that no eating implements, plates or napkins were given with pizzas. Noisy outside with playground.
We were warmly greeted by the maître d and told our pizzas would be 20 mins We waited 40 mins and they arrived soggy and had such sparse topping we were very disappointed and thought they were very overpriced,
Would not recommend the food to anyone
Food was magnificent. Not sure whether we were supposed to collect our own cutlery. I went to find cutlery when our meal was being served and found 5 cutlery place settings near cash register. We shared these between 10 of us.
Delicious and flavoursome pizzas alongside a wide range of beers on tap made this a perfect meal at the end of a day of travelling.
We came with a group of 7. The pizzas were great as was the service. Comfortable and relaxed setting with cosy heaters
Great atmosphere and service. We had a great night and loved the pizza and beer selection.
Great food and beer-we love it there We always book because we know how busy it gets - food service is quick
Went their for lunch with friends and tried 4 different pizzas. All were excellent! Thin crust, different toppings and all absolutely delicious.
Sat outside, the heaters did a great job and a few ciders and beers were sampled. Can’t wait to go back again
A genuinely fabulous place to have a craft beer (we had pale ale and Celtic red) and a pizza (amazingly good and very meaty roast duck although we skipped the bbq sauce and a veg-stacked verdure) - friendly, warm, honest folk running the place - awesome!
Staying in Beechworth on a Monday night, we were expecting to be disappointed. Bridge Road Brewery was brilliant. Although we're wine drinkers, the selections were Also great. Pizza's were absolutely delicious. You have to order at the bar, but the staff are brilliant. Would happily recommend the BRB to anyone, young or old!
Great brewery, great pizzas, friendly staff, quick service. Can’t ask for more really, except maybe $22 for a pizza being a bit much.
Delicious pizzas!! Friendly staff.
Pizzas are good. Local wines are fairly expensive. Quite noisy inside, which makes it hard to have a conversation
Friendly service, fabulous beers and a great range of tasty pizzas make Bridge Road a favourite venue for us. This time we brought a visiting dog with us. No problems at all. We were comfortably seated at an outdoor table near good heating and enjoyed the whole dining experience.
Loved the atmosphere. Casual dinner with great pizza's & even though I am not a beer drinker still lots of other options. Despite being very busy didn't have to wait long for our pizza. Well done!
8 on the table and all the pizzas were wonderful. Beer and wines also excellent.
Popular place for lunch. Good pizza, good beer. Make sure you book
Have been waiting a long time to get to Beechworth, what a great place to catch up with friends, have a long lunch and try some great local produce. Fabulous service and ambience. Wish we lived closer to visit more often.
Love this place, good is so delicious. We had pizza and beer. Good ambience. Interesting brewery to look at. Great beers. Friendly staff.
Great pizzas washed down with some equally delicious beers.
A great dining and drinking experience. Prompt and friendly service. Pleasant, family-friendly environment.
Pizzas were really tasty and a nice range of beers and wine to try. Love it!,
The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and helpful and they had a large amount of seating.
I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Beechworth!
Great beer garden. Great place to meet up with friends.
Went for dinner. Had lovely pizzas that were served quite quickly considering how busy it was. Staff were ok - it was a very busy time so hard to always be happy! Beers were great if a little pricey. I would definitely recommend as a holiday treat
