My daughter and I happen to stumble upon this restaurant at the last minute and were so fortunate to get a reservation. Wow! What a meal to remember! If you are looking for probably the best steak of your life, this is the place! They have options from all over the world for every taste flavor profile that you can imagine! We selected a lovely cut from Finland. Who knew that Finland would make the most delicious steak I’ve ever had in my life?! The steak was served on a piping hot Himalayan salt brick, it was served rare and you could cook the meat to your desired temperature as it stayed hot enough for a long time. Not to mention the owner was extremely knowledgeable on the steaks the varieties where they were from and all of the wines on the wonderful list that they had. This was probably one of my most favorite meals I’ve had in a long time. The service was super the atmosphere was lovely and it was 100% perfection.
I hope to try Bricco and Bacco in Italy as well!

Fantastic steak and the Caponata was a revelation (worth going to the restaurant on its own!). Really attentive service and overall a great experience for my son’s 18th birthday. A bit on the pricey side, but otherwise highly recommended.

As nice as the meat was... the prices for both meat and wines are fairly ludicrous. The services was nice and attentive, but very slow. It took us almost an hour between asking for and paying the bill.

Service was unbelievably slow. Took 15 minutes to get the drinks menu and another 15 to get the food menu. And then 45 minutes before we started to eat. The menu was confusing (which is unusual for a steakhouse) the meat although quite tasty was not the best I have ever had

Great service from the team, we had a great night. Steaks were amazing, the hot salt base made a huge difference to the taste of the meat. Decent wine list with some good value in there! Recommended!

Low class rip-off for the one-off

Value
Almost £700 for 4 people (£150 for wine - very good value). We had the black Angus at £27 per 100g and were told that we would probably need 1.4 kg. The steak came to £400!!!!! At least 30% was bone. The wine was actually good value. But they pretty much pushed the steak on us (we had asked about other cuts and other dishes). We would have been fine with that too. But what they served was 30% inedible and we were misled on the weight.

Service
The service was terrible. There was one waiter hustling the entire downstairs. The sommelier / head waiter appeared at some point. Worst of all was the music - tacky, loud and low class and more suited for a tequila shot joint. We asked them to turn it down, which they did, and which they inexplicably cranked up when we were the only table in the basement (facing a £700 bill).

Ambience
The ambience was abysmal - concrete floors, table right by the loos, open door to stairway leading up to pavement....Not so much low class as "eff you, customers" vibe.

Overall
To put it in perspective, in the same week, we had had two dinners costing much more. It is not the price with which we have an issue, but the utter contempt for the customer and tongue-in-cheek nature of the pricing and service and ambience. We did not want to raise an issue at the restaurant (guest from overseas). As said, it is not about the cost (price per 100g is transparent and listed for each cut), but we were led to believe that it would be 1.4 kg at £27 / 100 g and we were charged for £400 for what barely £265 worth of meat. This is bait and switch.

If you want to shell out for great steak, go to Savoy Grill for its classy ambience and impeccable service. If you want great steak at a fraction of the cost, go to Pope's Eye in Hammersmith for convivial ambience and friendly service. Bricco e Bacco is neither here nor there.

Probably the best steak I have ever had....just need to prepare yourself for the bill.

Definitely a must but hardly inexpensive yet worth every penny!!

Friendly service, excellent food, great wine list.

I found the the level of ambient noise (from other diners) a bit of a struggle but it eased as the night went on.

The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. We had a Tbone steak between two and it was presented on a hot salt block. We were advised to remove the meat at just the right time to ensure it was cooked to perfection (too long on the heat and it would have been overcooked for our tastes). It was our first time at this restaurant, but although a little quiet (it was a Monday evening), I would highly recommend it.

Great steak restaurant and proper sicilia hospitality. It's pricey but worth it. I'd recommend not wasting space on desert when the mains and starters are so good. A great little find on Charlotte Street.

A much awaited first visit to Bricco e Bracco did not disappoint. Nicely appointed restaurant, friendly and attentive staff and amazing steaks! The selection of beef is outstanding (we had 1kg of Fasona), the cooking perfect and the presentation (on a slab of hot Himalayan rock salt) creates a real wow-factor (and a useful way of keeping your meat hot whilst not continuing to cook and adding a lovely salty-tang to your steak). All-in-all a great meal which is setting (in my opinion) a new bar for quality steak in London!

We were wonderfully hosted- proper old-school Italian hospitality. Had the family restaurant feel. Antipasti was wonderful but the steak was the highlight. Served on a piping hot block of himalayan sea salt which kept the meat at the right temperature and allowed me to sear the fatty bits. Wine list was also superb. Will be back soon

Roberto has a lovely restaurant in a great spot on Charlotte Street. Very different from the usual Italian restaurant, this is all about Steak.

My wife and I went on a Saturday night during the 'soft opening' and enjoyed the Burrata Mozzarella starter, creamy Courgette Risotto main and almost 1kg of Spanish Angus steak which was served on a hot salt block so that I could enjoy it medium-rare and my wife could cook it a touch longer.

I've had steak from many places including Hawksmoor and Gaucho and this was one of the best I've had, incredibly tender and perfect on the palate (flavoursome, without being too strong). Roberto was very attentive and recommended a great Sicilian wine made in a clay pot which complemented the meal perfectly.

Dessert was 'Cassata' - a traditional Sicilian cake with icing and candied fruits - perfect if you've got a sweet tooth like me.

The atmosphere was classy but relaxed, waiters and chefs always smiling and friendly, we had a really good time here and can't wait to come back and try some of the other steaks on offer.

Best of luck with the new venture Roberto!

The food was very good- high quality meat aged to perfection.

However the restaurant was only soft opened, and I cannot make a judgement on service. Also I cannot say anything about atmosphere as the venue was completely empty - unfortunately due to repercussion from the pandemic.

I need to come back in a while to make a full judgement but the food was good and I hope more lively atmosphere in the restaurant in the near future!

Went for 40% off offer, receipt had so many mistakes. So much that it made me question whether it was intentional or by mistake. Either train staff on basic math and percentages. Or get a computer to do so. It shouldn't be our job to teach staff how to do 40% on a calculator. We were still overcharged.... made me look incredibly cheap but i had to question it solely through principle. Be aware if you are going for the offer.
