Breddos Tacos Soho
Busy for a rainy Monday lunchtime and the food was good but they were missing a few things that we wanted on the menu, apparently they had a busy weekend which was a shame... but i will be back
There were three of us, and we each enjoyed our food -- which included the vegetarian fair.
Great place! Lovely tacos and cocktails but the staff were all fantastic, some of the nicest and energetic that I've come across. Ever so slightly pricey for Mexican street food but the quality is great.
Great food, service, ambiance and crowd. Will def be going back soon!
Extremely small portions for the price.
A waitress who thinks it's okay to take half the tables order and then just take the menu from the other half when they take too long.
I'd avoid this place.
Really attentive staff. Interesting and tasty food. Really enjoyed it. Was hoping for more from ice cream sandwiches as the whole menu is ice cream sandwiches I expected something impressive but its actually a small wrapped nice enough ice cream although not special. It didn't meet the standards of the starter and main which were really excellent. Would definitely go back. Very enjoyable restaurant.
Highlights: The tacos were great! Especially the lamb shoulder one. The welcome was very friendly and we were able to choose a table; also very cosy with candles.
The letdowns: When our plates were cleared we weren’t asked if we’d like dessert, so had to wait until we caught someone elses’ attention to get a menu. It took a very long time to get our drinks on both occasions. The quesadilla was pretty poor - just very simple and overpriced. The ice-cream dessert was also underwhelming and overpriced (should be £3-4 max) - the menu suggested you got three separate little sandwiches, but the tiniest little package came out. The margaritas were nice, but very weak (which turned out to be a good thing) - and the overriding taste was lime juice from a bottle. They should be cheaper to reflect that. I probably sound really picky. I’m not, they’re just little details that add up to make me hesitant about recommending to a friend, or choosing breddos over a better Mexican down the road.
Great food, although for the portion wouldn't be classed as cheap. You would need to get at least 2 plates for 1 person which increases the price.
Only downside with booking through OpenTable is the time restriction and we had to leave when we would have liked to stay longer.
Bit slow service to start but picked up quickly
Cheap but good quality
The tacos are all delicious and margaritas are great too. The all you can eat brunch might be better if it was all you can drink and pay per taco separately though because there's only so many you can eat really!
The tables are too close together, feels really squashed. Very average food. There is better Mexican in London.
Birthday. Great all round
Absolutely delicious and innovative food. Bursting with taste in every bite.
Tasty food, gorgeous cocktails, friendly and helpful staff! Will come again.
Uncooked chicken, rude staff and an unpleasant overpriced meal
Waiter who seated us disappeared and continued to seat and serve people who came in after us. We kind of felt invisible as it was twenty mins before we could collar a waiter and ask to see a menu. Went on a Sunday when they do bottomless taco's so it's a limited menu. It's normally much better on other days. Ordered drinks which turned up after the food. All in all, was pretty disappointing as we'd been before and really liked the place.
Service was poor on a Saturday but the cocktail staff made up for it
the food, service and atmosphere was delightful. Great flavours and it lived up to the hype
Sadly, the brunch all you can drink margaritas has ran out when we got there for our reservation.. the food took forever to come out and even though delicious it was not worth the very long wait..
They did not save out booked table, and we did not know that the normal menu is not available in advance. Only tacos were served in a deal with all you can drink booze. They gave us one margarita and said they are out of limes so we couldnt order any more booze (what?). Bad experience. Don’t recommend.
We booked this for cinqo de mayo - unfortunately the frozen margarita machine was broken, which was the reason we had booked here.. the barman did his best to serve alternatives but was obviously overwhelmed by the backlog of orders because of the breakdown of the machine. Our taco orders got mixed up or forgotten a couple of times aswell.
Literally the best food ever
Bad food, bad service, bad drinks.
Will definitely recommend my friends NOT to visit.
Really friendly staff throughout, quick service. Recommended. Try the Lamb tacos
Not authentic Food. They seem to fry both chicken and fish in the same oil so the chicken tacos tasted of fish and then m fish tacos were over fried.
The service was friendly but a little slow. The food however was really good. The tacos were delicious (though messy so be prepared to get stuck in!), and the sweetcorn starter is definitely worth ordering. A great place for friends to catch up, though it is quite a lively place so not for a quiet catch up.
Top drawer dining experience
A pleasant Saturday evening dinner at Breddos Tacos. Managed to get an outside table which was nice for people watching. Food is pretty good, if slightly small on the portion sizes. The actual bread bit of the taco seemed too small to me. The cocktails were delicious but, disappointingly, there were no churros on the dessert menu. 2 mains, 2 sides and 3 cocktails cost about £80 with service.
Overall, it was quite a nice experience but I wouldn't rush to go back.
Really great food and super friendly service, but slightly too dominant- would have been nice to have been left to enjoy our food rather than checked on so frequently. The food also came super quickly, which is normally a good thing but it meant that we inhaled our food and was done in 40 mins! If they’d waited 5-10 mins between each dish, we’d have felt that the whole experience was more savoured
Great food and great service - will definitely go back!
Food was good but inconsistent. Drinks were dissapointing
Great cocktails downstairs. Serious, inventive Mexican food - not like the chains. The carne asada taco was particularly good - great steak; also the tuna tostada, nice, original. Noise levels high and acoustics not great. But a fun place with friendly, committed, enthusiastic staff.
Delicious food and great cocktails 🍸
They were burning incense in the stairwell which was a bit overpowering
Very friendly service, I’d definitely go back!
Food was delicious but service was rushed and you felt pressured to eat super quick. We had the table for 1 hour 30 mins but were giving the food and bill and cleared the table in 40 minutes
Service was slow however the food was delicious. If they had 1 more staff member working it would be beneficial to a better experience
Good service. Great margaritas! I changed my booking time and number of people about four times and still turned up with more people than planned and we were accommodated with no issue!
Thanks very much to Teodora and the team who made us feel most welcome and helped us have a memorable birthday dinner on Friday evening. She really went above and beyond and we will definitely be back and recommend to our friends. Thanks again!
Caught the happy hour deals and were not disappointed! Will definitely come back.
Poor food, high prices and service that made us feel unwelcome. The frozen margarita however was superb
Good tacos, good service and good margaritas. What more could you want.
