Breddos started out as a makeshift taco shack in a car park in Hackney back in 2011. Since then, we’ve gone on to do residencies and pop-ups, Street Feast, a cook book, as well as a cook-off at LA’s Tacolandia festival in 2016, before finding a permanent home for ourselves in Clerkenwell. Our food is influenced by the hundreds of roadside taquerias and restaurants we have encountered on our travels throughout America and Mexico, whilst utilising the best of British produce from passionate producers such as Phillp Warren and Son and Wild Harbour in Cornwall.

I think the menu has recently changed because the food was really awful tasted disgusting, both of us were unable to finish it - don't waste your money there's definitely better Mexican's around

I had read reviews that the food was very small and not filling for the cost and that the service was not great! My experience was totally the opposite. I ate vegetarian to be fair, but the food was amazing and I was more than full sharing a few plates and having a couple of non-alcoholic but delicious drinks all at £25 including service. And it was great service. Very attentive and happy staff.

Went for Bottomless Brunch and it was unreal. Every bite was a pleasure. Such good value for money, and so many different choices. Every time one taco was finished someone immediately came to see if we wanted more. Absolute pleasure.

Met at the door by an incredibly abrupt and creepy employee who attempted to physically impose himself over us. He stated they did not seat people at the time we had a table reserved and that they were closing. It’s one thing if there is a mistake and you’ve taken reservations past your closing time. It is another thing all together to stand in a doorway and attempt to be physically imposing toward guests. Avoid this place!

Great ambiance and nice food. Only slight downside was that we ended up sat on the edge of a table that we shared with a large group. I had booked ahead, so was slightly disappointed that we didn’t have our own table. Otherwise, all good!

Food was okay, super busy restaurant. Staff were not really attentative, didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks, and didn’t ask how our food was. We sat waiting for service for a while but we didn’t mind. Would be good if you could mix and max the tacos. Food also all came at different times, fine if it’s supposed to be like that but we weren’t not informed.

First time at Breddo's Soho and I will definitely be back - The food was fresh and delicious, the staff were fun and energetic. The service was incredible, always insuring we had drinks and were happy! The general atmosphere was up beat and energetic perfect for a Friday night end of week celebration. They didn't seem to mind us taking our time either.

Extremely small portions for the price.

A waitress who thinks it's okay to take half the tables order and then just take the menu from the other half when they take too long.

I'd avoid this place.

Really attentive staff. Interesting and tasty food. Really enjoyed it. Was hoping for more from ice cream sandwiches as the whole menu is ice cream sandwiches I expected something impressive but its actually a small wrapped nice enough ice cream although not special. It didn't meet the standards of the starter and main which were really excellent. Would definitely go back. Very enjoyable restaurant.

Highlights: The tacos were great! Especially the lamb shoulder one. The welcome was very friendly and we were able to choose a table; also very cosy with candles.
The letdowns: When our plates were cleared we weren’t asked if we’d like dessert, so had to wait until we caught someone elses’ attention to get a menu. It took a very long time to get our drinks on both occasions. The quesadilla was pretty poor - just very simple and overpriced. The ice-cream dessert was also underwhelming and overpriced (should be £3-4 max) - the menu suggested you got three separate little sandwiches, but the tiniest little package came out. The margaritas were nice, but very weak (which turned out to be a good thing) - and the overriding taste was lime juice from a bottle. They should be cheaper to reflect that. I probably sound really picky. I’m not, they’re just little details that add up to make me hesitant about recommending to a friend, or choosing breddos over a better Mexican down the road.

Great food, although for the portion wouldn't be classed as cheap. You would need to get at least 2 plates for 1 person which increases the price.
Only downside with booking through OpenTable is the time restriction and we had to leave when we would have liked to stay longer.

The tacos are all delicious and margaritas are great too. The all you can eat brunch might be better if it was all you can drink and pay per taco separately though because there's only so many you can eat really!

Waiter who seated us disappeared and continued to seat and serve people who came in after us. We kind of felt invisible as it was twenty mins before we could collar a waiter and ask to see a menu. Went on a Sunday when they do bottomless taco's so it's a limited menu. It's normally much better on other days. Ordered drinks which turned up after the food. All in all, was pretty disappointing as we'd been before and really liked the place.

They did not save out booked table, and we did not know that the normal menu is not available in advance. Only tacos were served in a deal with all you can drink booze. They gave us one margarita and said they are out of limes so we couldnt order any more booze (what?). Bad experience. Don’t recommend.

We booked this for cinqo de mayo - unfortunately the frozen margarita machine was broken, which was the reason we had booked here.. the barman did his best to serve alternatives but was obviously overwhelmed by the backlog of orders because of the breakdown of the machine. Our taco orders got mixed up or forgotten a couple of times aswell.
