Really enjoyed our meal. The steaks were superb and cooked just as we requested. The service was also first-class and we will definitely use this restaurant in Glasgow again.
We enjoyed our first visit to the re-vamped Abode. The food (great French Onion soup starter for us both and battered fish'n'chips for me and roast chicken for my partner) was very tasty and nicely presented. There weren't many diners in and the bar area was empty so not too much ambience but didn't spoil things. Staff were very proficient and delivered great service. Only thing that wasn't too keen on was place was a bit cold - it seemed there was an air con unit on above our table. Wasn't a major thing though but they could do with making the place a bit cosier.
A quiet Monday evening dinner alone while on a business trip. I had the 3 course set menu and it was very good.
