We went as a group of 8. We had plenty of room in the beautiful room. The food was good and the specials which included a glass of wine was good value.

This was a pleasant surprise. Food was interesting and portions generous, a with a decent wine list for wines by the glass. Worth visiting for a a night out that won’t break the bank!

We had an excellent dining experience - party of four with a wide range of dietary preferences (from enthusiastic meat-eaters to gluten-free vegans) and everyone really enjoyed their meal - the food and service were excellent, and the setting was relaxed and welcoming.

Raw fish for dinner. Breakfast the next day - eggs not to order, burnt toast, burnt bacon. The food standard has gone downhill

I have some food allergies, and the staff were exceptional in helping me find options to eat - and I didn’t have to resort to my standard steak and chips, which was a relief. I shared some sides with my friend and she also enjoyed them, which is a testament to the tastiness of the food. If I have the opportunity on a return visit to Canberra, i will certainly try to visit again.

We had a big problem with fruit flys over our table, we moved tables but they followed and were everywhere. It was extremely frustrating and made the whole experience disappointing. They said they would tell the maintenance staff but nothing else. I would’ve thought we’ll pay for the drinks or desserts and be there when we departed. Also asked for a margarita and they couldn’t do them until 3pm! Overall not a fun time .

Delicious friday lunch for two. Had several of the smaller plates. Beautiful flavours, nice ingredients. The eggplbt kinchi and vanella mozzarella were delicious, peppers with tahino delicious but Hot! Very nice wine list. Nice decor, well set up so don’t really notice the sunken location below street level. No drafts! Super enjoyable food. Reasonable prices.
