Bouvardia

First time dining at Bouvardia and all the components that make an enjoyable dining experience were there for all to see, from the warm professional welcome to the Menu choice and execution of all the dishes we had a very nice evening and we will return sometime soon.

Lovely staff, very accommodating, amazing food!
Had breakfast there next morning which was also lovely. Would recommend this restaurant very highly (and the hotel it is in!)

Very happy to be out for a meal, very good, I had one very small complaint, the food could have been hotter, i think maybe the plates were not hot enough. Otherwise the food was delicious.

Although the menu was quite small, we thoroughly enjoyed the scallop starter and brisket of beef for maincourse. The Polish head waitress Kate was very attentive and professional and looked after us very well.

Food was a bit average for what it was billed to be. Service was fine and decor was fine if a bit dated

After looking at some TA reviews we didn't know what to expect! As it was we had a good evening. Very well cooked and presented with a very good value wine list. Marked down for 'noise' as we really don't like background music. They did turn it down when asked but still a bit intrusive.

Food was plated up beautifully but something was off about all the flavours... it didn’t taste as good as it looked and nearly everything was deliberately raw/cold/undercooked... something carpaccio or something brûlée... it’s like the chef doesn’t like using the oven. We were advised to have our pork a little pink in the middle but it was completely pink, and not very hot. Decided to go elsewhere for dessert.

Food was style over substance. Staff and atmosphere wry good though. Over priced for what we received.

This was a lovely restaurant, beautiful ambiance and quiet atmosphere. The food was excellent fine dining throughout 6 courses between 2 people, except for a miss on a risotto that lacked flavor, but otherwise the pork loins and starters and desserts were really incredible. Service and staff was also very good and attentive and friendly. Had a lovely time and we would go again!

Bouvardia Restaurant is a gem and provides a very relaxing and intimate dining experience. Beautifully decorated and ideal for a romantic evening or celebration. Service is very attentive yet discreet. Food is excellent and expertly prepared -though more vegetables please. Worthy choice and a definite to return.

Limited menu but what they do, they do well. Excellent food, ambience and service!

Limited menu on off but very tasty food. Small but adequate portion stunningly presented on the plate. Parking a little limited but seem to be plenty of roadside parking. Recommend taking coffee in the lounge if its empty.

Super service, warm friendly staff and very pretty plates of food, not to mention delicious!

Myself and my husband enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Nothing could be faulted, staff, food, service was all 5*

Anniversary weekend in Bath

Food was very good though a few more vegetables would be welcome. However we all felt the ambience is a little strange, feels like the breakfast room rather than restaurant, which detracts from the overall experience.

Delicious food served hot and presented very well. Friendly and highly effective service. A pleasure to dine here.

Excellent food overall but I was disappointed with the Vegan Panna Cotta. Tasteless and wierd consistency due to lack of gelatin and cream I guess. Everything else was fantastic
