Bourbon Street - Brisbane
Bourbon Street... It's a whole new jazz...
The table was 25 mins late being ready. The service was very poor, with quite a few items on the menu not available (only told about it until After ordering, not before, whats the point in taking time to decide if its not even there). Staff were inattentive and poorly managed, unable to answer basic questions. Really disappointing
Good simple food well done with generous portions.
Service from a young Dutch lady was impeccable.
Will come again .
This was a random pick from
The internet. Best random pick ever, food was excellent, service great. Good atmosphere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The restaurant has a superb ambiance and has really great food and choice. The guitar jazz guy was amazing.
From the time we walked to the front of the restaurant, we felt welcome and valued. They sat us at a lovely table near the heater in case it became cold. The food was delivered in fast order and was full of flavour in generous portions. The staff were busy but still had time for short fun conversations. We will go back next time we’re in Brisbane.
Bourbon Street make a pretty mean gumbo, the ultimate comfort food. Great cocktails, generous servings.
Fun theme and great wholesome food. Unfortunately the Bourbon Lager ran out five minutes before our order, perhaps the beer list could feature some more American beers but a Budweiser is usually ok. The dishes are really big - don’t worry about going away hungry! The beef brisket was great, I adored my buttermilk fried chicken which was accompanied with Sweet potato mash and a wonderful salad with pecans. If you have the space left, don’t miss out on the dessert with fried bananas in rum. Would recommend this restaurant for most occasions.
