We pre booked a table for 7. We had a table on the top floor which initially was quite crowded but by the time we had our first course we were almost the only table occupied.
Service was excellent. Food and wine lovely, a great evening
Had a lovely pre-theatre meal here. Service attentive and quick. The set menu had a good range and food was hot and delicious. Atmosphere 'buzzy' and real Bistro feel. Would definitely recommend.
Very good and attentive service. Restaurant was quite full and had a good ambience.
Just wonderful. All the food is delicious, the service friendly, fast and the atmosphere was great.
We had to change numbers at last minute due to pandemic and they were so accommodating - and even brought a special treat for the newly married couple we were celebrating with dinner.
We are all coming back.
As the stats show it was just horrendous from the get go,even after asking ahead of my booking for a candle for my girlfriend birthday they were to busy trying to get us to leave as the chef had to go home at 10.cheers for that👏🏻
Superb service, very good food and the pre-theatre fixed price menu is great value. Wine was very nice and reasonably priced.
This french bistro does not disappoint. Good food. Good portions. Very welcoming environment and lovely service.
My wife and I enjoyed our post theatre meal at Boulevard Brasserie. But I had to bite my tongue, as it were, because I did not want to spoil the experience. My wife had the prix fixed menu, three courses at £19 BUT the bill showed prix fixe, two courses PLUS dessert charged full price. Not impressed, smacked of penny pinching. I kept quiet as I say because I wanted a pleasant evening. Also the cassoulet I had was minus Toulouse sausage? Still good but somewhat incomplete. I would go again but next time, mesieurs, I won't be so 'British' about speaking out....
The food and service was very good and good value for money I would highly recommend it
Great evening - welcoming and attentive staff, great food and a lovely atmosphere.
A cosy French Bistro. Excellent food and great service. For really good value go at 6.30pm for their pre-theatre menu.
I have eaten much better French food for much less. Not as good as we were hoping for.
We had a very pleasant experience, as it was our 50th wedding anniversary, we were given a Prosecco each, a kind gesture, thanks. Service was prompt and the food (main, beef bourginone), the three-course menu was good value at £19 and wine not overpriced too highly. We have recommended you to our friends, well done!
Welcoming venue with tasty food & good value for money. Would happily return
The food is delicious, they are always extremely busy, I think they do struggle to keep up with the numbers sometimes, but the staff are wonderful, very friendly and really look after you.
Delicious food with great service.
Will definitely book again 😊
My first visit since Covid hit, delighted to find a familiar face greeting me. As always they took care to seat me as requested in a quiet corner as my friend has hearing problems. Friendly and efficient service and delicious food at a very reasonable price and so convenient for the Royal Opera House. I look forward to returning.
Very nice lunch celebrating 51 years since the day we met.
I wouldn’t recommend this it was very average. The service wasn’t very friendly although it was efficient. The French onion soup was not good. It lacked flavour and was packed with lots of soggy bread with too much cheese. We ordered a kir Royale which tasted like it was made with Prosecco rather than champagne as it said on the menu. We were also packed in like sardines. A disappointing experience.
Excellent food on both a la carte and prix fixe menu. Good choice of wines at a variety of prices. Authentic French bistro with character.
Great food, ambiance and service. A regular, affordable, consistent destination
Service, ambience and food was excellent apart from the moules. Smallest muscles ever had, dried up and not recommended
We were a Group of 4 and had the Pre Ser Theatre menu! The food and Wine was so lovely in a warm cosy atmosphere. Our Waiter Peter was outstanding! We will definitely return! At 3 courses for £19 in Central London you could not beat it!
Absolutely brilliant waiting staff. A wide variety of menu choices. One dish we ordered - the risotto - was a rather small portion, but the rest of the food was great. Lovely ambiance - feels very authentic.
Excellent service throughout, good value for money, Beef Bourguignon a little bland.
Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Very reasonable price and most of all the food was delicious
Had a lovely experience for my fiancé's 30th birthday! Very welcoming and with a glass of bubbly on arrival! Staff were attentive and the food was lovely :)
With the Christmas fairy lights up the restaurant looked even more beautiful than usual. Great ambiance, great food and quick service. Just what you need for a pre-theatre meal!
We arrived earlier than the booking time but were accommodated. Service was pleasant, quick and efficient although we did not feel rushed. Would highly recommend the fixed price menu which was good value and there was also a varied choice. Will definitely visit again
Great location, great food, great service. The only problem is that everyone wants to leave at the same time to go to the theatre shows, so getting the bill can be time consuming!
We have dined at Boulevard Brasserie a number of times and we are never disappointed. The food and service are excellent, staff are friendly and courteous and even when fully occupied attentive.
Love this place. X
Good food at at good price. Excellent choice for a pre theatre meal.
Both beef dishes (steak and bourguignon) were tough as old boots and the potatoes were undercooked, underseasoned and rather vile. The fish goujons were rubbery and tasteless. Our waitress was unhelpful, and passive aggressive. I reported this the the manager, a seemingly pleasant young lady, who apologised and said she would speak to the waitress.
Lovely atmosphere- warm, literally & metaphorically, great service and food. Fab value for money and will definitely eat there again. Highly recommend.
Good value set menu. Friendly staff. Pleasant ambience.
The service was vey good abd the food was well cooked and tasty
I would return to venue
A great setting with great offers on food exclusively via OpenTable. Only downside was the vintage wine year labeled within the menu didn’t correspond to the bottle being served. (which was noticed prior to pouring) but caused a little confusion to our server when questioned.
Food was great quality, only downside was the mussels are extremely small (smallest I’ve ever seen) which I feel is not up to a standard expected for a main course dish. Although still tasted great.
Overall I would dine here again.
Our sever was pleasant enough, however it was slow to receive our drinks and we had to ask her to order our food.
The starter was amazing, really enjoyed it - Prawn Cocktail, a salad and a pate
The mains were all awful......
Lamb Shank OK but only luke warm
Fish and Chips - chips were OK and we asked them to change them, however when he tasted the fish this was also cold and we asked them to change.
When the fish and chips were brought back out - it was so cooked it was black - can't actually believe that the server put it on the table.
The Chateaubriand steak was FATTY, COLD and everything with it was cold and looked like it had been reheated.
I asked the server to change this, and to not bring the same one back having been re-heated. Well, ten minutes later the exact same dish was returned with the steak having been re-heated - you don't reheat steak!
The green beans were all cold and the pototoe was turning brown on the edges.
All in all the main meals went back execpt the lamb and it was too late to have any replacement.
Spoke with the manager and she apologised and was quite good about it.
She brought the bill to our table with no main meals, only starters and drinks which we were happy to pay.
Amazing food. Really enjoyed my experience. Would recommend
we were offered 50% discount if we had two courses. Service was so slow we were only able to eat 40minutes after arrival. We had no time for a second course as we had a theatre appointment
