Decent food, very poor service. Had to ask multiple times to get drink refills, the server would bring portion sizes for 4 people each time even though there were clearly 5 people, the drinks brought out were incorrect on 3 occasions. Server literally never once introduced himself, never once asked the typical “how’s everything going?” (Because he knew the answer), and just overall total utter lack of attention to a large party that could have been a big tip opportunity. Instead, just seemed generally disinterested and operated in machine robot fashion.
Meeting with my cousin after not seeing her for many years.
Amazing food and service
Me and my partner have been here twice now and the brunch price is really good especially with it being Central! The service is always great, very pleasant and the food is good. Would definitely recommend
I would not recommend this Boqueria location to anyone. The waiter that took care of us, provided poor service. We asked for ice several times and my cousin asked for the wine menu. She asked the waiter to bring her a bottle of Cava however, it took the waiter at least 20 minutes to get that over to us and he did not apologize for the delay.
Lovely meal great service and a wonderful spot close to port authority.. well worth a visit!
Staff was friendly and the food/ambience was geeat
We enjoyed the food and the service but this location is very busy and energetic ( noisy) and we where close to the bar and the entrance. Other locations are less crowded at least earlier in the day ( 4-5pm). Delicious octopus, pan con tomate, patatas bravas and the fish.
Definitely will try again in other locations.
Great place for a group to share tasty food and drinks. Go and try different things. Friendly service too
Great food and ambiance. Tapas are delicious and decoration is modern shik. Coctails are inventive and excelent.
Great spot in an area that has lots of food chains. Great cocktails and a few mocktails. Delicious small dishes to share. It can get crowded for after work crowd (because it’s near Port Auth), but has nice open space, especially with open doors for the summer. Can be noisy so prob not good for a quiet evening.
Always a great place for paella and tapas we visit as often S we could
The food was amazing from the delicate pulpo to the comforting deep fried papas. Service was great and the atmosphere was classy and comfortable.
Service was super slow. Food was good. Drinks and food were both expensive. Music very loud. Difficult to have conversation. Took 2 hours to eat dinner on a Friday night.
Tapas here is very good.
The music was too loud. the food was very good and the rest was great
Great place for brunch.
Vraiment trop bon ! .
Good place to eat before the theatre
Second time here in one week. Loved everything about it; food, ambiance; seating, decor, drinks, music, staff. Returning again in a few weeks
Prepare for great service and great food! Boqueria was fantastic! The servers were excellent and the food fantastic. We were celebrating Pride with a group of friends and enjoyed Boqueria’s brunch menu. More food then we knew what to do with at a great price! Great time with friends and just a great atmosphere.
Another great experience here! A taste of Barcelona in the Theatre district. Staff is uniformly attentive and accommodating, from the hostess to the manager,Rebecca.
Food was very good. It was energetic in the restaurant and a bit louder than I like. Staff was very attentive. I cannot recommend the two sangrias we had, but it may be that we are not sangria people. The food we had was very good and I think tapas are always a great way to eat. We had the filled fat churros (cannot recall their proper name) and they were a yummy way to end the day. Price was probably about as good as you are going to get at a nicer restaurant in NYC
I recommend they offer a lower priced brunch with one or even no drinks and no dessert and a version like they have now. Not everyone drinks and not everyone eats so much. I found the food too rich and the bar-type tables uncomfortable. I like Boqueria UES much more.
Great place for two or a group after work or before the theater. (They note in rez if you are going.) Beautiful decor and authentic tapas along with some unique wine selections. Lively but not overly noisy. We could still hear one another. Very enjoyable!
Fresh and easy
Great spot! A little pricey but a gem in midtown. Get the eggplant!!
Excellent service. The server Tom worked with one of our party who has food issues to make sure we made the right choices for her. We ordered the tapas sampler for $49 pp which was a ton of food, great variety and delicious. We were disappointed in the red sangria, kind of bland and tasteless
boqueria is Good! I wouldn't call deem it amazing or ecstasy-inducing, but the flavors were nice, the ambience was very good, and the waitstaff excelled. The flavors did not quite reach the quality of those in Spain, or that of more outstanding entities, but it wasn't bad at all.
Fantastic food, great ambiance, wonderful service!
Great tapas selection....dishes flavorful ....service staff first rate.
When in theater area a good choice for lunch or dinner
Terribly rude waitress. Have had this waitress before and she always behaves unprofessionally and rudely toward customers.
Boqueria has great food and a nice festive vibe!We found it a bit too loud, couldn’t hear what our server was saying which actually got quite comical. We ordered too much food, server wasn’t very helpful or knowledgeable in describing portion sizes. We brought leftovers home.
The bacons dates are realllll good. Also recommend the baby squid and broccoli dishes. Service was great and ambiance was fun.
Came here to celebrate an early birthday. Delicious tapas. More than that, the service truly went above and beyond. The noise level seemed higher than usual tonight, but we didn’t mind too much. A little more annoying was that random people liked to hang out by our aisle table and put their drinks on our ledge. Still, many thanks to the chefs for the food and to the staff for making this a special night.
The food here is amazing. Thanks to Cristina for the great service
The food was OK but heavy on the salt (the waiter actually warned me away from the chicken when I said I was trying to avoid very salty items) and fat so most of the menu choices were not very healthy. I thought it was a bit overpriced for the kale salad I got--basically a bowl of kale with a few small shrimp and a couple of cut up grapefruit segments and plain tap water which cost $25 (with tip & tax). Also it was extremely LOUD. If you enjoy a loud, "fun" atmosphere and aren't worried about your diet you'll probably enjoy it. The staff was very nice and the booth was comfortable but it's not my kind of place. I wouldn't go back.
Tapas style. Small plates, family style, server recommended about 4 or 5 dishes to share between 2. They also serve individual dishes, which is what we did. Chicken salad was great, quality food. Pleasant experience. Good food. Good volume to talk. Went here for a business meeting, and yes I got the deal.
Food was amazing. And our server was great. Loved the cocktails too!
