Flavour-feigning friends know it’s really all about the delightfully different, hand-stretched delights flying out of the brick-lined pizza oven entrance that are the stars of this show.

With each of the eight pizzas named lovingly after the fourth-generation Brown children, Bonnie is first and foremost about family, wine and pizza.

Inside, expansive north-facing views connect the architecturally designed dining room to a beautiful, landscaped garden. Outside, a circular terrace area on the lake's edge takes in 360-degree views of the surrounding vineyard, perfect for pre-dinner drinks.

    Upon arrival at Bonnie we were seated at a table which had one less setting than required. This took ten minutes to rectify. Rather than assisting, the wait staff watched us rearrange and squeeze another person on. Food came out quickly and was very good. However, it took 15 minutes for our drink orders to be taken then a further 40 minutes for drinks to arrive. We had finished our first course by the time any drinks arrived to our table. Our plates and cutlery were cleared. Mains then arrived. It took several requests to bewildered wait staff to finally have more plates and cutlery bought to our table from empty neighbouring tables. 6 pizzas arrived between 17 people. Which may be the norm, but in my view was not enough. We did not bother ordering anymore drinks. Again, the food was great. I can’t fault the kitchen. However, the wait staff were absolutely hopeless. They barely approached our table and at times appeared to ignore any request for service when dropping food off or clearing plates. Then came time to leave. Each person had to line up 20 minutes to then pay for their drink. All in all not a good experience due to the service, or lack thereof. The real kicker came a day later when I received a rude voicemail accusing me of running out on a drinks tab! I mean really? After all that waiting around for one drink each then further waiting to pay, it is almost laughable. Despite several call backs and voicemails of my own I am yet to get a call back from whoever left this voicemail. If it wasn’t for the food I would be leaving one star overall. I would not recommend this venue to any group booking, and I highly doubt the untrained and seemingly unsupervised wait staff would be any better with a smaller group either.

    Stella pizza was tasty in its flavour but two pieces were missing prawns and if you’re going to cut prawns in half at least put both halves on one slice so you can actually taste the prawns. The cucumber salad was delicious.

    Wonderful service from all the staff. They assisted us in every way. Even smoothly relocating us out of the hot wind and sunshine. The ambience of the venue is outstanding. We were overlooking the parterre garden with views of the majestic old building. The one disappointment was the obvious absence of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islands flags flying alongside the other flags.

    We really enjoyed our Friday lunch at Bonnie’s. The meal was delicious, service was fantastic and it was so beautiful sitting outside by the water. We topped it off with some tastings at the cellar door. Thank you.

    Great pizzas, nice wine and beautiful setting. However,we were sat right next to a large group when there were other available tables. I asked if we could move to a different table three times before they accommodated us. We also waited almost 30 minutes before ordering drinks.

    We loved it. Haven’t been to All Saints for a while. Casual relaxed near the lake. Love the gardens. Food and service was great. Good to revisit All Saints Pinot Grigio again too!

    Our waitress seemed to be sick. She was snuffing and wiping her nose with her hands. When we asked about a few of the wines on your menu, she told us that she didn’t know anything about the wine. A bit disappointing . We were outside by the lake which was lovely and the food was great.

    Having booked a later lunch on Father’s Day I knew that they would be busy but it seemed they were well understaffed. It took a very long time for us to be noticed and a very long time for first drinks to come. We eventually ordered food, it came, it was good but I was super disappointed that when I asked for a coffee after lunch and drinks the answer was no as they had already cleaned the coffee machine.??? If someone has a booking for 2pm why would you clean the coffee machine by 3.30pm hardly enough time to chat, eat, etc. especially when we weren’t served straight away. the waiters were lovely however it seemed they were stressed as well which dulled the atmosphere. When we needed them we had to wave them as they were so busy. I don’t normally write reviews but this particular time I was a bit peeved about the whole situation.

    The staff were incredibly friendly and even moved us to an outside table overlooking the pond and vineyard. The pizzas were delicious and the Shiraz very drinkable!! I’d highly recommend Bonnie’s.

    I booked for a 30th birthday and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were brilliant. Definitely recommend.

    We ended up sitting outside which was beautiful overlooking the pond, marinated olives and prawn cocktails were delicious, great wine but hot drinks could have been better. service was great as well.

    Beautiful location matched by the food and the friendly staff who were happy to accommodate whatever was needed to make the dining experience a very pleasant one. The outdoor area is dog friendly which our kelpie enjoyed. Highly recommend.

    Fantastic ambience, and when the weather is nice nothing beats sitting outside with a view of the pond and vines. Best pizza dough I've had outside of Italy (and better even than some in Italy). Absolutely love dining here and everyone I bring is equally impressed.

    The food was great! The service was not attentive & the restaurant was not even full. We would have had more wine but once we got our first round of drinks & our food, the staff did not come back near us.
