Boiler House Restaurant at The Hydro Majestic Blue Mountains
Well worth the visit. Pleasant staff, excellent food and outstanding outlook.
Lovely staff delivering delectable starters, mains and desserts and that view is amazing. Was certainly a big hit for my partners birthday! Thanks Boiler Room!
Very enjoyable experience, food and service were good, view spoilt by fog, and was a little noisy. Otherwise a good place to dine.
It was kind of the Head Waiter who allowed us to take a table beside the window between bookings as it was a special occasion. As usual, the food and service were very good.
The boiler room is our favourite place for lunch in the Mountains.

Great viewsgood service.
The restaurant is quite small but nice atmosphere.
Food was good well proportioned and tasty.
Very crowded given covid restrictions and no social distancing could be see. Food was lovely but we left within half an hour of sitting down due to our discomfort with the number of people.
The top image on the website was deceiving and the restaurant is not within the actual hotel.
The views are spectacular and the location very good. The menu was a little limited and overpriced for the quality. Overall I would recommend as long as you don’t expect too much from the menu.
Good salads, beef cheeks, Crusted Lamb and excellent Choc fondue desert.
Fair wine list. Service is good bit not in a rushing way.
The service was efficient but I founds they were rushing us out the door, even before our 2hrs was up.
Excellent service, outstanding view with a good variety of choice on the menu.
Myself, my husband and three of my friends enjoyed a very nice lunch on a Friday. Indoors, by the window.
Great service, food and fantastic view. Really great
Lovely atmosphere, great service and wonderful view.
Excellent place for Sunday lunch in the mountains. Great food, service and view - we will be back!
Nice food and location. Service by the manager downstairs was rushed, we were first given a table in the most unwelcoming location in the restaurant (I say the most unwelcoming because no one else wanted to sit there and no one else did during our stay). We had to ask multiple times to be seated elsewhere. We were told that the (still empty) remaining tables downstairs were all fully reserved. We ended up sitting upstairs, where the service was much better.
We enjoyed our anniversary lunch Delighted with the food and excellent weather Thanks
It snowed Food Great Place great. Me and husband loved this place and it snowing just made it great
Recommend eating here. The views a great, the service was good.
The food was delicious and the service was spot on! Stunning views over Megalong Valley!
Enjoyed a light lunch with a table next to the window which afforded majestic views over the valley. Unfortunately quite a number of diners arrived just before us and this made it a bit noisy to have a private conversation.
Lovely place to watch the rain fall this week. Service was lovely, we left with very full stomachs
Visited for lunch and 2 course menu for $54 was perfect. I would suggest 1 person get the entree/main and the other get main/dessert options and then share. You'll then get a 3 course meal for sure. Generous servings and great selection. Service was impeccable and COVID Safe premises. Great view, lovely ambiance and comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend.
The service and food was great. It was a pity that it wasn't opened longer due to the Salon bar not being opened. The bar in the main building lacked atmosphere there making an early exit.
Visited the venue midweek and had a fantastic meal with friends.
Prompt, efficient and friendly service. Delicious food....winter comfort food at it's best, but we would dine there any season!! As a bonus the view is to die for. We will definitely be back.
Service was lacking, but food was beautiful but overpriced for what it was.
Still enjoyed the day there
The team was expecting us and the registration process was smooth.
The staff were very friendly and met our flexibility requests re the food. Food quality was good, drinks were as expected and service was excellent.
Will recommend this to our friends too.
Staff were welcoming, wine was good and food was very enjoyable. Only comment would be that perhaps there was too much. I realise people want value for money and restaurants want to be seen to provide it but I'd leave the price the same and offer about 25% less quantity. It's either wasteful by eating the excess or throwing it out. views were stunning. Would happily go back and happily recommend. Shame its not open for dinner
Great ambience. Food overpriced. Staff very busy - run off their feet.
Really happy with service, I arrived before they owning to drop off a surprise cake and flowers for my wife’s birthday, thanks for decorating and preparing the cake. The surprise was a success and a big hit.
Thanks again for all your help.
It was very enjoyable taking my sister for her birthday ..good food and service wonderful atmosphere.Hope to visit again soon.Gordon
The experience did not live up to the expectation. My caprese salad was beautiful but as an entree it was so huge it could have fed four people! My main of open ravioli was a major let down in flavour, did not look very appetising and again it was massive! Two dishes for $54 is expensive when you cant eat the meal and feel you have lost value for money and don't walk out saying'That was a great meal!' Observing other tables we were not the only ones to leave food. I'd rather pay a bit less, receive less and not have the wastage. I guess the hard metal seats stop customers from enjoying a long lunch? People who choose these chairs don't consider all ages and sizes. Overall, disappointed which was a disappointment considering the link with the Hydro Majestic and we were looking for a special lunch ;-/
Poor and disappointing for such a prestigious place.
No correct social distancing going on. Place was well overcrowded and not following guidelines as every table in there was full.
Floor was not cleaned in ages there were bits all over the place.
What eases cleaning of table with no disinfectant spray.....
food for two of the four meals was very average for. $30 meal. Chicken dry....
Was my girlfriends birthday and they disappointed to do much out of the norm or adjust when no one wanted dessert....
Overall not a great experience given the times we are in.....!!!
Would not be surprised if this is the next outbreak cluster soon enough if this behaviour continues....
Absolutely delicious meal bursting with flavour and texture .... social distancing was adhered to and did not impact the wonderful view !
A bit overpriced for a fairly ordinary pizza. Beef cheeks were nice tasty.
Limoncello dessert was beautifully presented but lacked flavour.
Booked online for lunch and requested a table close to window if possible. We got the best seat in the house👌 Seafood hotpot 5/5, open ravioli was great but could have been hotter. Everything else beautiful and will be back.
Very nice atmosphere. Good portions size. We took seafood bowl and did not find it too tasty at all. Roasted potatoes were really nice and so was the rocket salad. Would still go back as the atmosphere was very nice.
Lots of small kids running around, very noisey food was average at best the beef cheeks had no flavour, like it was cook slow in water. It was our 35th wedding anniversary lunch.
I do feel social distancing with table placement was considered.
The staff were so friendly, and the food was excellent!
