Named after the spectacular port city on the Mediterranean’s Turquoise coast, Bodrum breathes some fresh air into the NYC’s Upper West Side with an ambitious, unique menu of Mediterranean food. With Turkish, Greek, Lebanese, French & Italian culinary influences (just to name a few), Bodrum places brick oven pizza next to mezzes, kebabs next to fish, finding a common thread that unifies Mediterranean cuisines.

We have dined at Bodrum several times and have always had a great meal at a reasonable price. Sitting outside on a beautiful summer evening is lovely. Great pizzas, great fish, and the best bread.

A nice neighborhood place that gives great value for the price. It's Turkish, or more accurately Turkish-American, which means there's a range of offerings so there's something for anyone. Among meat dishes, lamb is an expected specialty. Three of us there recently all had lamb dishes, and all of us were pleased. I had the lamb shank with couscous, tender braised lamb in a tomato sauce; the couscous seasoned with raisins was a great accompaniment. Wine and spirits available (including some Turkish wines if you are adventurous). Good service. Outdoor seating. Moderate noise level, depending on how crowded the place is.

One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. I usually have dinner there and it was a nice change to join a friend who also loves Bodrum for lunch. Wish they would bring back the EFES dark beer! Highly recommend.

The brunch menu really didn’t work for us. 3 people, 3 different choices and all were average at best. We’ve eaten here many times for lunch and dinner and were always happy. So maybe it was the brunch menu...

Great food, nice service....my go-to restaurant for almost any occasion. Lunch or dinner...both fine. The bread is outstanding. Other faves: manti (Turkish ravioli), stuffed cabbage, imam bayildi, sheesh-kebab.

We had a good time. the only problem with my food was the salt. Too much. But my friends enjoyed their gilled salmon very much.

Great place to have a nice dinner out with friends. We were really impressed with the food, especially the lamb tagine, and they were very accommodating to us when one of our party came half an hour late. Very nice ambiance with lots of natural light due to the large windows and there's plenty of space (it doesn't feel crowded). Would recommend!

I have been to the restaurant on a number of occasions and have always been pleased. This time, however, the food was very poor. The lamb that one of my guests ordered was inedible and the salmon was tasteless. I am wondering if the restaurant has changed chefs.

I just love Bodrum. Their bread (fresh baked in coal oven) is just totally worth the trip, and the Shepherd salad w feta, hummus and Labneh, all delicious and fresh, are all better because of the bread! I had the roast chicken with vegetable since I had always been intrigued by it and it was delicious and well prepared. Others at table were happy with their meals - the shrimp casserole appetizer looked amazing and was enjoyed by those who had it. The pistachio crusted salmon was was tasty & perfectly cooked with a yummy ratatouille side. Go here - but make a reservation. Very popular spot and some of the best Turkish food around.

It is a shame that the noise level is so poor that it outweighs everything else. I would not go back for this reason.

Great neighborhood find. The food choices are varied and tasty, the staff is friendly and the service is right-on....make a reservation and arrive early so you can choose a table near the wall or window to keep the noise to one side. Would definitely recommend to family & friends. Out-of-towners would get to have a genuine Big Apple dining experience.

I was nit happy with our seating for two it was an awkward table squeeze in and felt very unpleasant for myself and guest. It was a two person near the door and greeters but made to accomodate bigger party. First time i had pizza there. Very mediocre, liitle toppings ,nothing special. Ive beenthere many times before. I’ll stick with mediterranean food, much more interesting.
Disappointed, jc

Very quaint restaurant with excellent service. The wait staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. I had the lamb shank and it was simply delicious! I took a group of friends here for dinner before we headed to the theater. They were very happy with my restaurant selection. Definitely make a reservation as this is a small venue.
