The heart of our restaurant is good times with family and friends while sharing great food and wine.

Our head chef Ivan Sanchez Arrieta and executive chefs Elvis & Ben have designed a TAPAS menu with flavours influenced by South America and Spain.  The team work closely with a group of handpicked local producers who share our vision and core values of seasonal and flavoursome food.

Very relaxing atmosphere, it was nice being able to talk and not hear the next table’s conversation. Staff was excellent, gave ideas On what food to choose when asked and delivered the food quietly and were unobtrusive . Would go back again loved it!!

We had a wonderful evening made especially lovely by your staff! The food was amazing as always and the ambience and noise level was great, no problems having a good healthy conversation whilst feeling like we had the authentic Bodega experience. We both felt the value was also especially good and could not have had a more enjoyable evening, thank you Bodega 1904 team we will be back again soon!

Not excited about the food at all. $69 sharing menu. Two dishes made from corn cake. One meat dish only.

Food was bland and heavy. Not up to the reputation.

Staff were inexperienced but friendly. Ambience is also a bit food hall like. The bar experience is likely better in that regard if you are a party of 2.

After a lot of searching, we chose Bodega 1904 for a birthday brunch and it turned out to be a perfect choice. The service was exemplary. The food was delicious. The setting inside the Tramsheds is very pleasant. Our birthday guest was very happy.

Relaxed dining experience with nice food and wine. Sitting at the bar area to eat was awesome. you can watch the world go by or just enjoy the company you have with you. If you want intimate this isnt the place but it is cool to have your lunch or diner served to you at the bar and not have to move to a table.
Lots of choices on the menu for most tastes.

Calamari and pork tapas plate grossly over priced for the size. The pork also tasted like it had been reheated, calamari didn't taste fresh either. The squid ink risotto was it's saving grace.

The staff and service, however, was excellent.

Food was really good - loads of care taken in the presentation and really tasty, portions are a little bit on the small side for the price of each dish, could do with a few more meat options on the tapas menu.
Overall a lovely experience, staff were really friendly and knowledgeable.

Once again we had an excellent meal. The food is very interesting, inventive and beautifully presented and, most of all, delicious. The menu changes regularly so return visits are very worthwhile. The service is first class, efficient and friendly but not intrusive.

The atmosphere is great and the food adequate without being outstanding. The bar seating is incredibly uncomfortable as you are perched on fixed seating, no rotational movement, and no foot support so your legs are left dangling and over the period of the meal, becomes uncomfortable.
So unless your legs are longer than the average person, I'd opt for table dining

We both had the chef's menu which provides a taste of many items off the menu. EVERY course was delightful - and was delivered by staff with a smile, with courtesy and attention to detail. I enjoyed everything - and was (over)full at the end of my shared dessert. Would I recommend Bodega 1904? In a flash. I had a very pleasant night and appreciated such attentive employees.

It was interesting to go to the Tramsheds and see what a great renovation has taken place, but its a bit out of the way if staying in the city. The food and service at Bodega were very good, especially the shared steak and sides. We enjoyed negronis and a nice Chilean wine and had a great night.

Three mature ladies certainly appreciated a booth in the main part of the restaurant. Wide variety of meals on offer, we shared 3 entrees of calamari, croquettes and falafel which were delicious starters and then we all had the rigatoni. Just divine. I had been previously and was looking forward to ordering the Spanish eggs again but did not realise that our Friday lunch booking meant we couldn't order from the weekend breakfast menu. Bad luck - I will just have to return on a weekend which I will definitely schedule.

Went for lunch rather than brunch, Great food, even though it was set up on Sunday's for brunch there was still a good selection. Wine was excellent to compliment the food. Noise level was low even though it was very busy outside in the Tramsheds.

We were there for brunch. Pleasant ambiance, whole Tramsheds development has a fun vice. Coffee was good. However very limited choices for brunch. I had a cheese & mushroom melt with egg which the flavours were nice but was served too cool so turned a bit too chewy and the egg too greasy. My husband had pancakes which were very small and not much flavour.

Great food and amazing service. Only downside was the main meal was served straight after entree. Staff apologised and gave us a complimentary drink after our meal. The wonderful staff make this restaurant a pleasure to dine.

Quite simply one of the best meals I have ever eaten - and we are foodies!
I had octopus - not only were the flavours amazing, it was so tender it just melted in my mouth. My partner had a vegetarian tart and said the flavour combo was stunning.
We shared a rhubarb tart desert - again delicious. Just the perfect amount of sharp and sweet, and a dusting of marjoram was perfect.
Amazing. In a GREAT setting too! We cannot recommend it enough.

Bodega has improved a lot since our last visit - food is genuinely tasty - service is good - but a little slow - nice reception too.
