Seafood
Centrally located in downtown Seattle, Blueacre is the quintessential American seafood restaurant drawing upon the vast array of wild seafood available from the United States coastal waters as well as carefully chosen sustainably-farmed freshwater species, oysters, clams and mussels. Blueacre Seafood will feature a full-service oyster bar and in addition to all things aquatic, farm-fresh meat, game, poultry, vegetables and artisanal cheeses. Brushed nickel accents, rich wood panels and warm leather booths reflect Blueacre's American seafood heritage. Classic handmade cocktails are shaken in a comfortable bar, well stocked with American spirits, craft beers on tap and an all-American wine list. Blueacre is Seattle's downtown seafood destination.

Eat here for the excellent seafood. We ate mussels in green curry sauce, kasu cod, and an "angry" Dungeness crab and all were very well prepared. Service is good, prompt without being rushed. While the prices are higher than you could pay other places, so is the quality of the food and the skill in the preparation. We will eat here again.

Great food, as always. My black cod was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The service was a tad slow with things like refilling waters and getting drink orders but overall very good - friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. We'd go back again.

Great food, great service, and easier to get reservations than you would think a restaurant of this caliber would be.

Did not bring sourdough bread we ordered as a part of appetizer then did not bring Brussel sprouts as side dish. Food that we got was good, but the missing items really upset my wife, since she only ended up getting a small salad at the end of a long stressful week at work. I can’t recommend this place.

Our dinner and service were excellent. I'd recommend if the view isn't an issue for seafood dining. In the summer or earlier in the day we'd preferred a waterfront view but over we loved it.

Our table was in an awkward spot, I was repeatedly bumped by the staff as my chair was so near an aisle. Not great especially considering how expensive the meal was. Great food, great cocktails, very good service

The food was not good. The service was good but the food was disappointing, especially for how expensive it is.

Terrific place for a business lunch where one can carry on a conversation. Razor Clam Chowder was excellent. Beer battered fish and onion rigs were nice and crunchy on outside and perfectly prepared on inside. Chips were crunchy and crisp.

I would have given 5 stars for everything but our service was not up to par. We waited 20 min for ONE cup of coffee, ONE! And we waited a total of 35 min for our drink order that was placed at the same time as the coffee. It was only 4 of us so I can see if the entire restaurant was packed and we were a large group but it was just two couples. I did enjoy my food so I am willing to give Blueacre another try

Met a client here gut dinner. Food was expertly prepared. Fish was perfectly cooked. Ambience was ok.

My only complaint, if it rose to that level, was that I had may a reservation weeks in advance, but when seated we were put in the lounge at a table that barely fit our entree plates.

It made for a tight fit.

However, the food was so good it made up for it

Service was OK but not very attentive. When we initially sat down we sat there for quite a while before anyone even acknowledged us. The clam chowder was really good. The two other people I was with had salads with crab. They said it was OK.

Great Food, service lacking little follow up and mistakes during service. poo service may be due to already mandatory gratuity add to the bill, based on our party size of 6. this was my annual Friday night dinner after a week of conference, may rethink choice on next my next Seattle visit.

Service was very slow on a mildly busy Wednesday night. Appetizers were on point, but some entrees were not so good. One piece of salmon was cooked to dry, and another was practically raw on the inside. Both were ordered medium. This was my second and last visit.

Another exceptional dinner at Blueacre. At our table we had both the shrimp and mussel appetizers, the troll caught King Salmon and two separate meals from the Bite of Seattle menu (The spare ribs and the Coho Salmon). All of the food was excellent, the wait staff was attentive, and the wine list was excellent. We have only had wonderful experiences at Blueacre (and Chef Kevin Davis's other restaurants) and look forward to our next visit.

No one can match the high quality of the seafood and very professional wait staff. We had the fresh salmon and kudzu black cod. Outstanding flavor and fork tender. Oysters are plentiful and top notch. The chocolate dessert was delicious and gluten free. Even though the restaurant was very busy, the service was attentive and food was piping hot!

The food is outstanding! Best seafood in Seattle! The waiter was very nice and helpful when we saw him but he appeared to have too many tables so there were some gaps in service.

Brett gave us 5 star service! He checked with the chef about seeing if something I didn't see on the menu (it's currently only on the dinner menu) could be ordered for lunch. And he checked in with us about everything, yet we were able to have a 2.5 hour meeting without feeling interrupted. He was so kind. He was delightful, as was the amazing salmon and dessert. We love Blueacre!

Excellent service and food was very good. I ordered the King Salmon and it came with a very good cherry sauce, but I wish I had ordered it without to better taste the great salmon - the sauce was a bit overpowering. Upscale and pricey - save this one for that special night out!

We were there for Restaurant Week so our choices in the menu were limited. I expect, during Restaurant Week, to be wow'ed by the Chef, trying new dishes and showcasing the great dishes that any restaurant is known for. I'm from Philadelphia, and during our Restaurant Weeks, the truly great restaurants are packed because the chefs are doing just what I described above. Blueacre was good and I'd go back. But I was not swept away. The service was prompt and friendly, however, and that made our meal memorable.

Last minute reservation we’ll accommodated. Server excellent. Attentive. Came for Alaskan King crab. Not available. Had Alaskan Halibut on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes with gravy and mushroom on top. Would have preferred them on the side. Server refilled our waters regularly as well as my soft drink. My husband was allowed to sample the lager he had before ordering. Overall very good meal. Large parties, which made hearing my partner’s conversation often.

Unfortunate the king crab is not an actual leg or two of crab. Rather the serve you knuckles And ends and didn’t actual give you a crab leg. When it was brought to the waiters attention he barely apologized and said yeah I will let the manager know to change the description cause you may not get a “crab leg”. For the price you would expect at least one full crab leg if not two. And the sides had no seasoning or love in their preparation. Overpriced and not good. Sad as I was really looking forward to the restaurant being awesome based on other reviews and general vicinity to fresh seafood.

Intermittent attentiveness from wait staff, though super friendly, they seem stretched too thin. Slightly pink King Salmon order came out nearly raw, sent back, then came out perfect.
