   Tasting Tuesday is always fun. Service was outstanding. Food was good. Noise level was the only thing that was a challenge. At times it was really hard to hear across our table but overall a nice evening.

   This was our second time for the off season Tuesday special wine pairing dinner and it will be a MUST DO every time we go to Rehoboth Beach in the future! (We only go off season.) It was outstanding!

   Delicious food! Delightful cocktails! Kim was an absolute delightful server! Table seating was great in the restaurant. Only suggestion, to have a couple of tables in lounge/bar that are not hightop for handicapped people.

   Heard a-lot about the Blue Moon restaurant through the years and was disappointed. The drinks took 20 minutes and crazy overpriced. The crab stuffed shrimp was mushy. Dinner took about an hour. It was not crowded. In making a reservation I was asked if we were celebrating anything and had put an anniversary. Not sure why asked if there was no mention of the anniversary celebration. Very expensive for poor service and not very good food.

   On Tuesdays during the off-season Blue Moon offfers a 3-course wine pairing menu for $49.00/person. We have taken advantage of this offer in the past and had an overall satisfactory dining experience. Last night was very disappointing. It was difficult to carry on a conversation because it was very loud where we were sitting, the seating arrangement for the table was odd, and the food and wine was mediocre at best. If we dine there again we will stick to items and wine found on their regular menu.

    Another excellent dining experience. The spring menu, with its outstanding meat and seafood options (a vegetarian entrée is available for those so inclined), offered some of our favorites: the Wedge Salad, sizable and fresh, with huge chunks of delectable blue cheese and bacon lardon; the Fried Green Tomatoes, thickly sliced and stacked with a delicious herbed cheese spread in between, and frosted with onion jam, delightfully complemented by the drizzle of a balsamic reduction; the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail features two huge peeled shrimp as well as chunks of shrimp in a spicy tomato marinade (like a ceviche-style pico de gallo), with avocado and cucumber rounding out this appetizer. A newer item, the Mozzarella Burrata, is almost large enough for an entrée – fresh and flavorful, with an inspired complement of pomegranate vinaigrette, pistachios and blood orange. And one can never go wrong with the Bacon Cheddar Burger: quite large, featuring a side of standard French fries, or, on the evening we dined, sweet potato fries. The menu also offers “Enhancements” of smaller orders of seafood and meat selections as a side item – great for those who want the best of all options to curate the perfect dinner. The substantial wine list offers many options: a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and a Cabernet Sauvignon were the evening’s choices. From the extensive cocktail list, a Vodka Gimlet and a Manhattan made for excellent pre-dinner libations, while the delightful Espresso Martini made a delightful dessert option. The other dessert choices were the outstanding (and sizable) Key Lime Butter Cake: a square of dense, yet moist, gooey cake of buttery goodness, more than enough to share; and the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding, dense, yet moist and flavorful. Service is always professional and cheerful, making one’s dining experience that much more pleasurable. The culinary genius which emanates from the kitchen makes dining here an easy choice, resulting in a memorable evening.
