Excellent location and an amazing brunch! Huge variety .
We enjoyed our meal as we always do at Blue Moon.
our food was delicious, our server was polite and helpful.
we ate on the terrace and i always enjoy that but the tables were all so close together that we felt as if we were sitting at the same table with them and their conversation. that would be my only negative.
Maybe time for a remodel to have a larger terrace area?
Location and atmosphere are great. Food on a whole was good except for the Grouper dinner. At the prices they charge you would think that it would come out perfectly cooked. My wife broke up her grouper to try and stop it from cooking any further, it was still steaming hot, even the waiter could see the steam rising from the broken up grouper. We are not complainers but we did express our concerns that the Grouper was over cooked and it was. But the waiter really didn’t offer to take it back. We should have been more assertive in getting another piece of grouper. We commented to the manager on the way out and all he said is I hope you come back. They really didn’t seem to express any extra concern or seem to care that my wife didn’t enjoy her dry overcooked grouper. So nice ambiance but don’t spend the money or just get a couple of drinks and appetizers. Btw if you want to share an appetizer the tuna poke looked like a nice portion. Our waiter said the crab cake vs the tuna poke was a similar portion, Not. We got the crab cake but later saw the generous tuna poke at the table next to us and thought, wow we could have gotten that and perhaps skipped the awful grouper dinner. Overall very overpriced as compared to what you get.
Food was quite good BUT the service and manners lacked considerably especially when you factor in that my bill exceeded $600
Blue Moon has a waterfront romantic atmosphere. The seafood was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. we enjoyed the fresh snapper and salmon. The meal was excellent.
Good food near the waterfront. Beautiful restaurant. I will definitely come again
Best brunch ever. I'll love to go back . Nice view
Had an amazing time and Raymond was beyond awesome!
Sunday Brunch is the bomb! Excellent staff and ambience. Food was exceptional!
Our server, Paul, was excellent and the food was even better. Nice view of the water in a cool screened in room on an otherwise hot evening.
Last minute early dining.
Excellent service. Our Waiter David was spot on.
The food was impeccable
Lobster bisque and Tuna Poke made.up for them forgetting my wife's Birthday. Def. Will try them again. Lobster bisque was AWESOME!!!
This place is absolute perfection. Incredible quality food and consistent. We appreciated the special anniversary wishes written on our dessert plate.
Always a pleasure eating at Blue Moon, though pricey, well worth it!
Terrific service and delicious food each and every time. Great for a special occasion!
Thank you Blue Moon staff for always providing us with a fabulous experience.
Amazing brunch spot, my family and I try to come one Sunday a year, and we have a great time every single time.
amazing as always. The buffet was good and the champagne is bottomless
First, the staff is awesome. They all work together and we were never without refills, never had a dirty plate on the table, they were super responsive. I loved this place. The food was incredible.
Wonderful!!!! We celebrated our anniversary there and everything was wonderful. Great quality seafood. Nice portions. We couldn’t be happier
I have been coming here for over 15 years and has always have great service.
The food and service at Blue Moon is excellent. They have a huge outdoor seating area overlooking the inter-coastal. We chose to sit inside because of the heat which is also lovely. Our food and drinks were delicious. I especially liked the dipping garlic oil for the bread at the table. It was warm and perfectly complimented the tasty bread. One guest ordered the whole snapper which was beautiful as well as tasty. I ordered salmon which was one of the best I've ever had - very moist. We culminated our meal with a heavenly souffle (allow 20 minutes after you order for them to prepare it).
We had a good meal at Blue Moon. It is pricey, with fish entrees in the $42 to $46 range and some shell fish options even higher. The Choclate Souflle is outstanding, but takes 30 minutes so if you want one order it at the same time you order your entree.
Very nice ambiance. Warmly greeted.
First time at the Blue Moon was a smash hit!
Opted to sit outside with the full water view.
Paul M. was our waiter and was so helpful. His recommendations were perfect and the Louisiana influences on the dishes was a welcomed touch of goodness.
The Firecracker Oysters, crab cakes and crunchy creme brulee were some of the best we ever had. Really the four of ordered different appetizers and entrees and ALL were delish.
Cant wait to return.
Amazing place, great food, great service. Loved the variety of the buffet plus being able to order at your table. Endless mimosas!!!! Heavenly
Great Sunday brunch that my wife and I, every time we visit the Fort Lauderdale area, have attended for for more than a decade.
Service was perfect and our waiter did a great job. Food was perfectly cooked and the flavors were amazing. Would definitely be going back...
Great food. Great service. Love this place
Waiter was very accommodating but not over the top so we felt no pressure service was incredible food was amazing as well
Business dinner - great food/servings & moderately priced. Nice setting on the intercoastal!
Took my husband out for Father’s Day. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We were not disappointed. Five stars!!
Kevin was an amazing waiter!
My complaint is a 20% gratuity was added to my check for a party of two. When I questioned the waiter he said that because it was Father’s Day, and considered a holiday, the policy of the blue Moon Fish Company is to include a 20% gratuity. I usually tip 20% when service is good but I do not appreciate when the restaurant tells me what I must leave as a tip. No where was it posted that this extra will be charged. Shame on you Blue Moon. I will not go back especially when there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby that leave the tipping up to the customer.
Too crowded long wait on father’s day
They were overbooked for Father's Day. We waited an hour to be seated with the reservation.
Father’s Day Sunday Brunch. Fabulous!
Believe all the great reviews you read about Blue Moon. I took my husband here yesterday for an unbelievable, unforgettable Father's Day brunch. Mind you, it was $75 per person(their regular Sunday brunch is $65), but like I said it's unforgettable. I would say it's a once a year experience for a very special occasion. Other than a little confusion upon check-in, the hostess was overwhelmed and a bit scattered due to the very large crowd, thank God we made reservations. Valet parking was also a bit of a cluster-F, so we opted to park across the street to avoid the delay, there was quite a crowd inside. But we didn't wait too long after our reservation time and were seated outside in the covered air-conditioned deck. I won't lie and tell you it's a quiet romantic place because it's not. It's extremely loud to where you can barely hear the waiter. That being said, I would still go back and enjoy it all over again. The brunch was unbelievably full of seafood, Including oysters, crab legs, shrimp, sushi, ceviche, carving station, omelette station, all the breakfast goodies and so much more! Also included in the brunch were unlimited champagne, bloody Marys and Mimosas which were constantly refilled; additional tapas plates that you could also order off a small menu, like lamb chops, scallops, crabcakes,, etc. There there was so much food it was ridiculous. We stuffed ourselves silly and waddled out.. we became couch potatoes for the rest of the day. The fact that my husband said it was the best brunch he had ever had and he could not stop bragging about the experience and how gourmet the food was, made it easily worth every penny. They do add 20% to your check. GO!!!!
We were rushed from the moment we walked in.
Quite simply one of the best meals we had in a long time. The blackened Mahi Mahi was fabulous, and the porc chop was in the words of my son « the best I’ve ever eaten ».
Our waiter(s) were great and had great menu suggestions and the service was fantastic!
When my favorite spots to go to for brunch amazing service good food unlimited mimosas a little bit on the expensive side but worth it
This was my 2nd time for the brunch and it did not disappoint. Everything was great our servers David and Javel were great the food was amazing. Everyone from the parking attendants to the hostesses and staff were great. We will definitely be back.
