too many steak restaurant choices in the area to be so lax with service. They really need to step up their game !
BLT was great. Our waiter was attentive and answered all our questions. We started with a salad and the roasted beets. And we had the Cowboys steak, which was large enough to share and my daughters shared the filet mignon. Both were flavorful and juicy and cut like butter. We will be returning.
Very good steakhouse without being pretentious. Properly cooked beef, sides of mac and asparagus well made. wine list is approachable at many price points.
Really enjoyed dinner at BLT. From assistance from the Sommelier to assistance from wait staff it was a lovely evening and will definitely go back.
Our second time here and BLT has, somehow, topped itself. The staff is incredibly friendly and informative; both our waiter and the cocktail manger enjoyed chatting with us and really made took the evening from good to great. We will definitely be returning for a third visit.

The bone in cowboy was amazing. I loved the Brussel sprouts as well. It was a busy service on Valentines and we waited 30 minutes despite having a reservation. Then once seated our table was missing a chair so I had to awkwardly wait on the staff finding a chair. That said, was the best steak I’ve had in DC!
Delicious steaks as always but we went on Valentine's Day and the service (and overcooked Popovers) suffered for it.
Celebrating 3 bdays, our server was exceptional. The group enjoyed everything and food was fantastic!
Our meal got off to a rocky start with our drinks taking forever- but the staff more than made up for it by buying a round and desert. The food is outstanding, wish they could find a way to separate the bar from the dining room as it is so loud.
This was the 2nd time I went to BLT none week and each experience was amazing, the service, the greeting, the valet and the food was amazing. We ordered The cowboy and filet mignon could have easily been shared with 4 people instead of two. The chef came our and checked on us and we reported it was amazing. We will be heading back soon
It was fabulous. Chef Michael made us special dishes. Popovers were to die for. Steaks were Perfection. . Best food Ive eaten in DC in years. A must stop for anyone especially foodies

Had my first bad steak at BLT. Tough and flavorless. I didn’t say anything to my waiter because I was having an important conversation with our dinner guest, but man I was disappointed.
Also, the apple cobbler was extremely disappointing as well.
Very bummed at how different this experience was compared to my many visits in the past.
The service was terrific. The food was as expected (the lobster dumplings are a must). The wine list is top notch. There are some very nice bottles on there. Great experience and will be back again.

We came in late but had a reservation. Usually this is one of my favs. Not that night. Mashed potatos were served cool, almost cold and the Kansas City cut - which smelled wonderful - was amazingly bland to the taste and a bury overcooked from what we ordered.
I'll chalk it up to a bad night, time of day thing and will go there again. Hope this was an isolated incident and not a harbinger of things to come.
