    We are super excited to offer this unique experience in Blaq crafted by Manfield! It will only be available for dinner on 19 October and 20 October 2024 with 5:30pm and 8:30pm seatings. The menu is a complete surprise from Manfield!! All we know is that it will be filled with spiced flavours and native Aussie ingredients. It will also showcase our favourite and local suppliers. There will also be an arrival drink from Karu Distillery and wine throughout the night from De BeauRepaire wines! Blaq is the only place to be!! ** No refunds will be available or extensions of credit, this is a solid commitment!! The only dietary requirement that can be catered for is vegetarianism (& must be noted in your reservation please).

    Absolutely fantastic. The divine nature of Chef Miles’ garden-to-plate philosophy has shone through once again. My associates and I were blown away by the mushroom smalls dish—an absolute umami amazement. Will have to give many shout outs to the grilled octopus. We moved into pork and cubed beef, which were a perfect balance of the natural flavours of the meat and the spice in which they were served. Chef Miles is sure not too far off earning a Hat. Truly the culinary gem of the Blue Mountains.

    Very good menu (fish, meat and vegetarian choices), substantial and nice to have much local produce and an excellent pretty much all-Australian wine list. Attractive bar. One of the best ristretto coffees I've had in a long time. Good breakfast buffet: croissants, cold cuts, breads etc [juices and barista coffee extra]. No need to go hungry!

    Loved the whole evening. Venue was lovely, great service - attentive but not overbearing. Great cocktail & wine selection. Food was fantastic, with the entrees being a standout. Would definitely recommend a visit.

    Great food Excellent Staff ( far better than we have experienced in Blackheath over 15 years) Wine by the glass whites were rather nondescript ( suggest they try more local wine Megalong and Orange) Ok value for a special night out

    My husband and I loved this restaurant. Blaq is located in the hotel called Kyah hotel in Blue Mountains. We had a really great time for 2 nights 3 days. The restaurant has a great ambience next to the farm and woods. The fancy vibes were giving exquisite relaxation. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The food was outstanding and here are our top picks: Cheese platter, Pork Belly, Egg Yolk with local mushrooms, Grilled octopus, and Truffle oil mac and cheese. On top of this, their bar menu was quite exceptional: we loved all their craft cocktails. Here are our personal recommendations: G&Tea, Smoke on the water, Native negroni, Johnny apple seed. Overall experience was great - it’s been a lovely time over here so for those coming out of the country like us (from Singapore and Philippines), check this out when you visit the Blue Mountains.
