Due to our high volume and traffic, we cannot hold tables for parties like a reservation system. We have a system called Priority Seating. This system secures a table within our restaurant, however, it does not guarantee an exact seat by time. Priority is placed on your party, and if we are on a wait, your party is placed on top of the wait list as a priority. We will seat you as fast as possible, but cannot guarantee an exact time. The priority seating was fine. Maybe a 20-minute wait on Mothers Day. I just did not think the food, Ribeye, fillet, sirloin and tuna, were flavourful. So many better steak places in the area for the same price.

Priority seating complete waste of time. Still waited over 45 minutes to be seated and that was after I complained because I was told 6 parties were still in front of me when I checked in again. A couple came in after us, was told 60 min but got a table before us. Also the French dip was awful. Burger was good. Steaks are very pricey.

The priority seating is deceptive. There are no limits on how many people can sign up for priority seating at a particular time. We ended up waiting 90 minutes despite "priority". Food was good.

The waitress was delightful even though she forgot to serve our salads! After we got the bill we asked for the salads as a carry pit since there was no reduction in the cost not having been served the salads ahead of time. Also it took us over an hour to be served our order. That was disappointing.

The place was fairly empty when we were there..Sat at bar for cocktail. Bartender was new and drink was not very good...We had to help coach her how to make it correctly but she was very nice...the ribeye steak was not good...very tough and grizzly...sent it back...second one not that much better...All servers and mgrs were friendly and accomodating but it wasn't the best experience especially for my wife's birthday...

Food was good, I would like to go back and try other menu items. We ordered the 5oz sirloin with lobster for 19.99. It was O.K. Not sure if priority seating was beneficial, still waited 45 mins. for our table. However, it could have been a longer wait without it, who knows? They were very busy. Don't wear your best attire, you'll smell like a grill when you leave and a greasy mist is in the air. Overall, it was a cool experience. I need practice grilling my own food. I would recommend it at least once, and then decide for yourself from there:)

Never again will I go to black rock. Took 45 mins for 3 entrees and when it came out it was all cold. They brought us a hot rock to reheat our own food. Waitress said the food just came out. There's no way.... they did take money off our bill but this was supposed to be a nice celebration for my moms bday and we were highly disappointed

Even after signing for priority seating we still waited the typical time as if we walked in to get seated. As for the restaurant experience the concept of cooking your own food was truly different. So you are practically buying your own ingredients and cooking it yourself but in a restaurant. It can be a safety issue especially when the table and floor starts to get so greasy. The knives provided wasn't even sharp to cut the most expensive cut if meat.

Food was good. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. But 1. We waited an additional 20 minutes after we got there despite our Priority seating and did not get the high top booth in my open table reservation....the hostess was unfriendly and acted oblivious that I had made that request. 2. It was so steamy from the sizzling rocks that the floor was slippery, the air looked foggy, and I left there literally reeking of cooking meat. The first time we went there I loved it (about 6 mos ago). This second time...not impressed.

The food was great. Our server was spectacular! I felt it was a bit pricey for the food, but I suppose it's the experience you are paying for. It's loud in the dining room. The 'priority seating' is a joke. We were signed up for 7:15pm. We didn't expect to be seated at that time, maybe 15-20 minutes later... It was in fact 8:20pm before a table was available. We enjoyed the food and service, but probably won't be back for quite a while, if ever, because of the wait and atmosphere.

Waited one hour 15 min for a table. Very Smokey from all of the at table cooking-poor ventilation. Great table, nice server but no dinner plates provided-just side plates. No serving spoons/tongs for the green beans or mushrooms out of the hot plate. I guess we need more cave man style eating in this town. The food was not well seasoned and really not much better than a Tuesday night crappy steak from Kroger. Very forgettable! Overall an extremely cumbersome way to go out to eat. I usually allow the chef to prepare my meals. I think I will keep it that way. This is the type of place you love it or leave it. Well, I’ll leave it and hope some other chain takes its place soon.

Bar was very slow , waited a long time just for a glass of wine. Kitchen staff seemed to struggle, messed up our order then took forever to get it back out to the table. My husband and I were done with our meal by the time our daughter got hers. Our server did his best (wasn’t his fault). But the food was okay.
