Order tomahawk and it was no doubt one of the best steak I've had !

Absolutely loved our first experience at Black Hide Caxton St. Super romantic venue, wonderful friendly and attentive staff and the food was delicious, they even made sure my allergies (GF&DF) were accommodated which I didn't expect! It might seem pricey but it's worth it and for the quality of the experience, is actually good value for money. Can't wait to return.

Very happy with our night out here. Food was very nice, service was professional, venue was spacious. Set menu 3 coarse dinning option was a great option for our dinner party. Excellent value for money and top quality steaks cooked spot on.

Best Steaks in town!

Excellent night out. We asked the chef to help modify our meal and what they created was amazing!!! Hats off! We had a room to ourselves - so it was real nice and quiet! The only disappointment for us was that we were too full to have a go at dessert! Did not disappoint - yet again! Always good for a good night out!

A great place to go for fine dining. I would definitely recommend it to those who haven't been before.

We had a lovely dinner as a family of four. The staff are helpful and welcoming and the food was delicious, especially the oysters kilpatrick yum!

Excellent service and menu. Great starter and side options, particularly liked the bone marrow. Our waiter was very attentive, purfecto.

It was my anniversary with my partner and they did really well to notice it! They surprised us at the end with something sweet and we really appreciated the extra mile they went for us.

One of the best steaks I've ever had. Absolutely delicious and everything was perfectly seasoned. Delicious from starter through to dessert.

Short ribs were delicious. Restaurant was told via open table that it was a dinner for our anniversary so they surprised us with a beautiful anniversary plate with a sparkler and dessert. Very informative waiters. Road is apparently regularly closed due to close proximity to stadium.

Great meal, good people. This is the best steak house in Brisbane.

I had Wagyu Marble Score 5+ sirloin 300gm steak, perhaps the best steak I have ever had.

I have dined at black hide many times and it never fails .
It’s always on point.
When ever I have over seas guests ,it’s my go too.
Steaks cooked perfectly every time.

Excellent service and great food. It is expensive but you pay for quality so no complaints here. Can’t wait to have a long lunch with the boys there soon

The service by the wait staff was amazing. My wife requested wine jus be removed from the menu and rum from the dessert. The staff accomodated our request and replaced the dessert with cheesecake which was fantastic. My steak was aamazing, cooked just the way I like it. Onion rings was a bit oily, but overall a great experience.

Food and service was amazing. Id would of scored a 5 but Where we were seated, (opposite walkway and office) was not ideal.

We don't get to go out often so I am very glad that we picked Black Hide Steakhouse for our rare event, it was perfect - especially the service

Food was good however I ordered the wagyu marble 5+ eye fillet and it was cooked to medium rare more on the rare side when I asked for medium. for the price of the steak I was a little disappointed, and the red wine jus was a little too salty and runny.
I have been here once before 2 years ago and it was amazing. shame it was a different experience this time.

Food was amazing but the service at the tables was very poor. We always had to ask for drinks, never shown any chef’s specials etc.
The poor waiting would make us hesitant to return and time soon.

Perfect for special occasions, steaks are the best!

We had the most wonderful dinner. The oysters and scallops for entree were amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mushroom sauce was to die for. Will definitely be dining tbere again.

Great food but poor service.
We're asked for our order 2 mins after we arrived, before we'd even had a chance to look at the menu. After this we waited 20mins for the waitress to return before having to call someone over to take our order.
Ordered wine on arrival and waited 15 mins to be told they didn't have it.
I don't mind paying $80 for a steak but $2.50 for an extra bread roll seemed a little petty.
Food was fantastic and came out quickly once ordered but the service really let it down.

Excellent food. Steak was perfect- asked for medium rare and it was perfectly cooked. Overall pleasant experience but environment is unsuitable for kids. Would make a good place to go for dates though.

Some of best steaks in Brisbane. The bone marrow was something special as well.

Second visit here and we still loved it!! We had the set menu this time. Was lovely! The sirloin wasn't quite as mind blowing as the first time, but still exceptional! Missed the carrots as an option for sides too. But devoured everything! Dessert was also amazing!! Best service ever! Lovely atmosphere. We will be back!
