About this restaurant

Located in Glen Ellyn, Bistro Monet serves fine French food in a classy and cozy eatery. Mouthwatering starters include the classic bistro escargot with garlic-parsley butter and the mussels provencal in a garlic, wine and tomato broth. A serving of the homemade soup is another great choice, and the creamy lobster bisque and duo onion soup with three-cheese gratin are piping hot and satisfying. Bistro Monet's take on coq au vin, chicken braised in wine with mushrooms, bacon and fingerling potatoes, is hearty and flavorful. The duck cassoulet and roasted rack of lamb are other entree favorites, and the Napoleon vegetarien, grilled veggies in a tomato-ginger coulis, will delight herbivores and omnivores alike.
