Our waitress was the best!!!
Took a friend out to dinner during restaurant week. We both got the steak frites and cheesecake which was so tasty and filling. I also got the chicken wantons which look so small when they come out but they were delicious!
Evan was our waiter and he was great! They were short staffed and he was apologetic about us waiting, but we really only waited a couple of minutes. No biggie. Potato soup was very tasty, just wasn’t hot. We all ate it but gave him the heads up that it needed to be hotter. Mushroom Ravioli was delicious. The lavender lemon martini was so good too!
Fantastic night with Drew at the bar. He is an amazing mixologist as well as conversationalist. We will definitely be going back. Our meal was amazing. The music was great and Marty was a gracious host. So many locals at the bar which is a testament to the welcoming environment! Can't wait to go back!
First Time for is. Love the food, ambience and food!
We had an impromptu date-night and chose Bistro 25 East. What an amazing meal! We loved everything with the soup of the day, deviled eggs and both of us had the ‘Beastro’ Burger, and finished with crepe brûlée. We have NEVER been disappointed here! Thanks all for a wonderfully tasty experience!
Love this neighborhood restaurant. Love the food. Slight issue with my pasta. Loved the bucatini last time I ordered it. Actually told friends the best pasta I ever had. This time was completely different. Not as described on menu. More like a clam sauce. Was disappointed and hope maybe the chef on that night wasn’t familiar with the recipe Will definitely be back
One our faves in Patchogue/ Blue Point! Food is terrific and service is over-the-top! Cannot wait to go back! Added benefit is the fact that this Open Table reservation was a bonus, 1,000 point reservation booking. Strongly recommend Bistro 25 East!!
Excellent food and professional service. The dining room is quite nice.
This was our 2nd visit, and we love this place. Salmon was amazing. Customers at the bar were hysterical and very friendly. The staff was very attentive and top notch.
The mushroom ravioli was excellent. The pork chop was thick and tasty but a bit undercooked. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this place
One of our community favorites - Bistro 25 East is a great restaurant for consistency terrific food, drink, & environment.
Outstanding food and service. An excellent go-to for a last minute week day dinner or even a group. Excellent entrees and perfect desserts. Service is impeccable.
We have been at Bistro 25 a number of times and it's always a great experience. The staff is friendly and polite, the food is great, and we have never been made to wait to be seated. We will continue to return again and again.
First visit, and was very impressed. The live music on a Thursday night was a plus. Great spot for a date night out.
1st time going. Pork chop was raw where close to bone. Wife's meal was ok.
Bar area was a little crazy on Friday night (cannot imagine what it is like tonight with football starting) but the restaurant area was much quieter. The food was outstanding and so was the service.
Bistro 25 is a gem, great service, excellent menu choices and nice dining atmosphere
... Music too loud... No wine choices available only thing available was house wine... Food came out cold...
First time dining here. We were warmly greeted, seated right away and the food and service were excellent! Nice quaint dining room which had just the right number of guests and tables so that the noise level was low and comfortable. We will be back!
I loved Bistro 25. My husband and I had a lovely dinner. The food was delicious. The French onion soup was to die for. The restaurant was perfect for an intimate date night. And our waiter, Evan, was terrific. Can’t say enough about the service. It was great!!
This was our second time dining at Bistro 25. Our meal meal was average this time around. Bread was clearly not fresh, beet salad was less fresh, tuna was not as good and they were out of gelato. I mean when there are only five items on the desert menu and one is ice cream that suggests someone was asleep and not paying attention to inventory. The lead chef must have had the night off. Will try one more time but not early in the week.
Great food and very attentive service. Ambiance is relaxing and calm
I can’t believe I do not remember the servers name, but he knew the menu so well and made wonderful recommendations.
We were happy with the service and the food.
The drinks were eh... but it didn’t ruin our night.
We will be back!
My understanding is a new chef is about to start so this review may no longer apply.
2nd time we were here. Had a wonderful experience the 1st time. We ordered the same appetizer as last time-the clam dip which is terrific (served with crostini bread). Thai Calamari was a new item to try, and sauce was on the side which was not expected. It had julienned apples which were a bit different. We ordered the same entrees as last time. Korean short ribs were extremely tender, but the mashed potatoes were missing the wasabi flavoring. The seafood linguini was missing the red pepper flakes which makes a difference. Their wine/ drink menu needs updating because the 2 wines and 1 drink we attempted to order were unavailable. They have a bar menu which is also available at the high top tables in the bar area. Some of the items were not available on the regular menu such as sandwiches. Overall it was a bit disappointing because we knew exactly how the entrees were supposed to taste, but the food is good.
Missing other Chef he was very passionate for his cooking I knew right away it wasnt him the Deviled Eggs were not as good. He was a smazing Chef. Will still go but miss hus cooking
Food was excellent and the wait staff attentive and personable. They accommodated my special diet with ease. Will definitely be back!!
My first time here I will come back
I love Bistro 25 in Sayville as well
Good food and friendly service. Bartender bought us an after sinner drink as well.
The Lobster Buns appetizer was disappointing. The lobster was over cooked, chewy. There was not enough filling for the buns.
The French cut chicken breast was dry.
Everyone who ordered pasta really enjoyed their meal.
We had an enjoyable evening, but I wish the food tasted better.
I didn’t care for the menu choices, my roll wasn’t fresh, salad and dessert ok. The steak had more fries than steak. My pasta ok.
Food was excellent but service was poor- three times our waiter came to our table and never asked if we wanted appetizers - had several things that had “run out of” but then said that was a mistake - no beer glasses available so he brought the cans to the table while he put some on ice?. Gentleman bussing the tables was more on top of the tables than our waiter. He forgot about our check that took 15 minutes to get. We waited more than 15 minutes to order but the table next to us ordered 5 minutes after they walked in- this waiter needs some training. But as I started out the food was very well done the steak frites amazing, buffalo cauliflower delicious , chicken breast very well done, so the service being so poor was disappointing. Not sure if we will go back.
Such a great find! The food was amazing. So nice to see a menu that had something for everyone. I had a delicious whisky shrimp dish, my husband linguini with fresh clams and our guests a chicken and a beef dish! Excellent selection of wine by the bottle at great value. We enjoyed a Tuscan Montepulciano! Highly recommend! Enjoy!
I was completely blown away with my experience at bistro 25 east. We were greeted at the door by the owner Marty who showed us to our table. We order two of their specialty cocktails. The lavender lemon martini and the berry berry margarita. They were so good! We had the pork belly buns and the Calamari for apps, all I can say is Wow! For dinner we had the Tuna and the Shrimp Ramen. Service was on point and our water glasses we always full! My only complaint is we didn't save any room for desert, because we ate every last bite! This place is a hidden gem!
