Bird Land Ginza is a grilled chicken restaurant awarded one star by Michelin in 2010, the first star-holder of its kind. You may enjoy yakitori of the finest quality Okukuji Shamo Chicken. Chicken is cut into parts on-site, and we try our best to serve fresh meat only. We carefully select the charcoal to fuel the grill. We grill the finest chicken with the Japanese best charcoal, Kishu Bincho-tan. Please come and visit us!
前評判として幾つかのレビューサイトのリサーチを行い、若干の振れ幅がありましたので身構えておりましたが実際には暖かく迎えていただき非常に満足しました。
知人との会食、接待や記念日とオールラウンドに使用できるお店だと思います。
肝心の焼き鳥ですが、コースをいただき、奥久慈しゃもの美味しさを堪能出来ました。
CPは銀座ということで、個人的には特に意識しませんでした。
コース外の串を試してみたいので、再訪したいと思います。
きちんとおすすめできるラグジュアリー感と、肩肘張らないカジュアル感がちょうどよい。メニューも多過ぎず、変に迷わないところも吉。

夜のコースをいただきましたが、一つ一つが丁寧にお料理してあり、全て美味しかったです。
鳥の旨味を味わえる焼き鳥でした。
焼き鳥屋さんらしいフランクな雰囲気も残しつつ、お洒落な空間になっていて、親しい人と食事するのにピッタリだと思います。
隣の人ととても近く、お店の方が誰もマスクしていなかったので、びっくりしました。もう少し対策がしてあったらもっとよかったです。

Excellent food and service in a relaxed atmosphere. English menu is available and staff are very friendly to communicate in English and my broken Japanese. Food is excellent, certainly the best yakitori I have ever had. Highlights were the sansho yaki (pepper teriyaki chicken thigh), gizzard skewer, cartilage skewer, chicken oyako don. Service was fast. Price is commensurate with quality of the food. Noise level is just right- not so quiet to be stuffy and formal, but not so loud you have to yell to communicate. Met some friendly locals sitting next to us and we bought each other drinks, including a sake the owner made.

2名で8000円のコースとビール1杯ワイン3杯をそれぞれ頂き、27000円くらい。
評価の高いお店だったので期待していたのですが、少しがっかりでした。
評価が高い要因は英語対応してるからかなと推測しています。
英語が必要ないなら他の店の方が良さそう。

For a Michelin star could be better
いつ行ってもお料理は美味しいし、ホールの方もフレンドリーです。
味もサービスも落ちたとしか言い様がありません。二人で行ってコース二人分注文したのに、串二本を二人で分けてなんて…久しぶりに行ったのにこの落ち様はひどい。外人専用の焼鳥屋としか言いようがないです。もっとコスパの良い焼鳥屋が銀座にはたくさんあります。
もう一度サービスというものを考え直した方が良いです。
An amazing team, in a beautiful setting, with an awesome menu. Those are just SOME of the ingredients they use to create the magic. I don’t need to mention the chicken, it’s awesome, just taste it.
As tourist in a new city we got lost and arrived late to our reservation yet they kindly accepted us late even though they where closing in an hr, we ordered the chef's omakaze. They told was it was going to be a bit rushed as lack of time yet we are perfectly and it was delicious

Restaurant was very difficult to locate. We've circled around the train station several times. Once inside, we sat comfortably around the counter. There were several individual tables nearby. Chef breaks down its myriad facets to give you each piece cooked in a way to bring out all of its potential as an ingredient. Opted for the Chef's Omakase Menu; comes with assorted appetizers and includes eight types of chicken yakitori: meatballs, leg meat with green onions on skewers, chicken liver pate and bread, bowl of chicken and scrambled egg on rice and broth, piping hot panko breaded fried chicken croquette, chicken skewers with ginkgo nuts, and teriyaki chicken with Japanese spices. Assorted appetizers included cure salmon roe, plate of pork belly, grilled shiitake mushrooms without stems, char-grilled cheese and custard pudding which reminded me of flan for dessert. Meats were tender and practically melted in mouth. All were good. We watched the cooks prepared each dish. Cooks performed their tasks perfectly. Food comes out instantaneously course after course. All cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the friendly, excellent and attentive service.
喧騒を離れ、カウンターで ゆっくり 調理場を眺めながらの食事を出来ます。少人数でのお店です。いくつかの用途での 使いが 出来そうですね
We were visiting Tokyo and thought our meal at Birdland was amazing value and very tasty.
We went on a Friday and had the smaller set menu without the livers (not my thing)
Service was efficient but not overly elaborate which was ok with us. Had wines, by the glass, which suited me.
Food was perfectly seasoned and simple - all chicken
The appetisers were not my favourite but there was plenty of food.
That was definitely overpriced. Not sure if it was because we were on a tourist menu therefore we could only the omakase courses - either JPY 6,800 or 8,500. However that was the menu full of other items and the locals apparently had ordered different food.
Food quality was just very mediocre. Any izakaya may do a better job. The chicken skewers were overcooked...
Service was subpar in Japanese standard and for the “omakase” standard in comparison.
Won’t come again. Won’t recommend.

Wow! What a find. High end yakitori in amazing atmosphere with lovely conviviality among the customers at the counter. Had really highest quality chicken yakitori as well as vegetarian stuff and great beer. Big reccomendation
Its a little hard to find as it is underground - right next to the famous "Sushi Jiro" in Ginza. But its easy to spot once you are in the basement. The menu was comprehensive with choices for both Omakase and a la carte, and a solid beverage list too. I had the Omakase and my wife and daughter selected from the a la cart - plenty of choices if you don't want Chicken innards! Service was fast and efficient with brief introductions to the food, more information if you asked for it. It felt a little rushed, but overall it was well timed and the food was excellent.
We were lucky enough to have central seats on the counter so we could watch the kitchen action, its a very lively atmosphere more Izakaya than Kaiseki, and it feels very casual. We ate in a few Michelin places in Japan this trip, and this was definitely the best value for money. Highly Recommended.

Good service. Limited to two set menus. Some chicken was not fully cooked (actually raw pink). Not able to order a la carte preferred additional items. Overpriced for limited choice.

店内空間は比較的ゆったりだが、焼き場を囲うカウンターが狭くきつい、2時間制も良い印象では無い
コスパが非常に高いと思います。またサービス、料理の質ともにいつも高い水準で維持されており、非常に安定していると思います。
料理も最高、素材の厳選とそれぞれに適った下味、焼き加減などなど秀逸です。店員さんの対応も適度な緊張感とよい力の抜け方で大へん心地よいです。
We went for the second time. The first was five years ago when we visited Tokyo. We were not disappointed. It was still great! Worth every penny. It is a pity that sometimes foreigners who have no idea about Japanese food, show up and do not know how to behave. Dear fellow foreigners, if you struggle with the menu items, just order the omakase menu, relax and enjoy!
