Beautiful old building, hated the way food is served on disposable plates, no cutlery, service good a bit slow on drinks
This was a great place to visit. The food was great but not much of a selection tbh. Would love to see some steaks on the menu. Apart from that it's a great place to see. My partner loves your vodka and creamy soda. We will be back for sure. P.S please put a steak and salad on the menu 🍽🍴🍹🍺🥃
Food was ok but not as good as I had hoped.
The drinks, gin and beer are worth trying.
Nice place to visit but next time I’ll just grab a cordial and no food.
Would return for the drinks, less fussed by the meals
Great atmosphere, loved what they have done with the place.
Drink pricing and tasting was great.
We had Olive platter ($24) which was poorly presented in a take away box and more likely worth $15.
Facility is great with a lovely room by bar downstairs is a great place to enjoy a drink.
Highly recommend a visit here. Went with kids and sat outside (shaded and water misters to keep us cool). Food was delicious, esp the pulled pork burger. Inside downstairs bar area looks great, probably not so kid friendly however. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable.
This place is an absolute gem! Caters for adults and kids alike. Has a great vibe.
Food and service was great. Beverages were delicious.
We love this place and everything it stands for. Local, community, history and a great product. You’ve done so much work this year.
Tasting paddles were amazing value, and the burgers were to die for. We nearly needed a trolley to get our haul to the car!
The staff were the nicest, friendliest staff I’ve ever met! The tastings were fantastic! The building inside and out was fantastic, definitely worth a look. Not much food to choose from on the menu but was still nice.
Great place to visit. Recommend the Gin tasting. Eco friendly. Food was lovely
Fantastic hidden gem. We will definitely be visiting again.
Great atmosphere, service & food. Plus the gin paddle was a great inclusion. Enjoyable afternoon all round.
WOW what a surprise, such an amazing place in our own backyard!
Greeted at the door with a quick rundown of the place, straight into Gin tasting with super friendly staff, quick lunch and then downstairs to your comfy couches to sample some more cocktails. Staff couldn’t of been anymore helpful or friendly, even though they were run off their feet, they did really well. We certainly will be back, magic little spot, just ensure you book to avoid disappointment 👌Congratulations on an amazing establishment.
Had a great afternoon at Bilson’s...staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating of our 2 dogs. We enjoyed tastings (where staff knowledge and recommendations were invaluable) along with a couple of drinks and snacks. Will def be back!
Great spot to visit. Good atmosphere, great products. Unfortunately not all the products you can taste are available to buy. Still worth visiting.
Billson's is a pretty ambitious venture. A big investment in totally refitting and extending the old Murray Breweries site. They have really kicked life into the premises. You can view a lot of aspects of the product being made on site, which is all part of the experience. As for the food and service, it definitely meets the expected standard with reasonable pricing. The menu is more in the casual savoury vein with various Billson's alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. It's been 18 months since I last came here and the menu then catered for coffees and cake but didn't see that offering.
We booked for lunch on a Friday during the summer holidays. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were seated in a lovely booth. The decor and atmosphere were excellent. The gin tasting paddle board was delicious and we enjoyed trying the tasty gins. Our kids enjoyed their cordials. Food was delicious. Toilets were clean. We’ll be back!
Gin, Cordial and Beers are brilliant. Really enjoyed the tasting paddles and the seasonal salad. Burgers were standard.
Service could’ve been improved upon arrival. Even with a booking it took some time to be welcomed, seated and order taken. However food and drinks came out quickly.
Loved the separate sections of the building and the opportunity to view the factory floor.. some explanatory signage would’ve increased the experience.
Will definitely return with friends
The friendly staff were absolutely outstanding. Food was delicious! Hardest part was choosing what to drink. Loved every minute!
Food and drinks were great, service was lacking. It took 30min to be seated as table as it had not been cleaned or cleared at booking time. We sat outside and found we had to call the waiter over every time we needed something. Asked for tomato sauce didn’t come for 15min and daughter had finished meal. I think the staff were lovely just not enough of them.
Food was great. Staff were lovely - knowledgeable, and accomodating. I think we tasted every cordial they’ve ever made, and bought at least half.
Great spot to enjoy a good lunch, the gin and cordials were amazing and our whole family had a great time.
Great Hamburger 🍔 with the best Ginger ale loved it
Amazing beverages and food to match
Very friendly staff
Love the ambience.
Love the cocktails
Alround a lovely way to spend an afternoon
Great venue. Great atmos. Great drinks. Though all $18 food items weren't worth price.
Beautiful old building tastefully restored. Met by a staff member who told us some of the history of the building and what they now did. Kids were able to enjoy cordial tasting while adults did their thing. The food was great and very good value. Staff were great!
Chicken burger was nice with kimchi and sriracha sauce. Also, I could’ve tried all flavours of your spirits :)
The limited menu was the only thing that made me not give it 5 stars.
Absolutely beautiful. The staff were amazing and super helpful. The food was delicious. We also purchased a few goodies as well.
Great place, plenty of history, great staff ,great food and fantastic drinks both alcohol and non alcohol.
Family of 5, dinner in the cellar. Food and beverages were great. Staff friendly but they needed more staff of them.
Beautiful venue brimming with charisma. Beverages well worth the trip, but food really missed the mark with 3/6 of our group unwell that evening.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and knew their product. Great service and atmosphere will definitely be back.
A great venue that we will return to again. A great place to meet and dine with friends while in Beechworth.
Nice setting, very helpful team, plenty to check out at Billsons. Well orth a visit and tasting.
However, we were a bit disappointed with the food, served on eco-friendly disposable plates/cutlery, and the food just sort of missed the mark. Several of our group did not finish their meal...
Thank you
Beautiful place. Friendly staff. Great food and drinks. Worth a visit
We loved our visit . Such a fun vibe , service and food excellent
