Another lovely tasty supper! After some shared entrees we enjoyed the quail and perch. Quick and friendly service.
The service from booking to ending the meal was great. The menu has vastly improved since first opening; we love tapas style share plates, so really pleased with the menu changes. We missed the pate/duck parfait though. The food is on the expensive side for some plates, e.g the Stracciatella and tomato and peach dish. though we loved the dish it is expensive for what it is. The wine list is good. Finally, given the time of the year, the noise level and service were great, thank you and have a wonderful Christmas.
Great menu, good service. It has a great wine/drinks list. It is a little pricey. Good ambience.
Great place to catchup with the girls. Menu a bit limited for vegetarians / vegans. Wine list extensive but never heard of most so it was a bit of pot luck (in a good way)
Food was delicious, wine was great but the service was excellent!! Could not fault it and that is rare to find these days. Thank you.
Far too noisy at night unable to hold a conversation at the table or hear what the waitress said about food
Sign language would be preferable
Had a nice dinner out with my wife , staff were excellent particular our main waitress , very helpful and nothing was a problem , food was great .
Very noisy and dark that you can't see the food you eat.....
Some dishes very nice like Smoked Mushrooms, Zucchini Flowers & Kingfish Carpaccio. Mains Lamb cutlets & Pork shoulder had nice flavour but being so dark resulted in putting fatty bits in your mouth which you don't want do eat spoiled it for us....
Also overall very expensive including wines, maybe because it's Claremont....???
Absolutely superb! The food, wine and service were impeccable.
Most enjoyable Excellent food complemented with some special wines
A lovely cafe/bar with great food and exceptional service. We went mid-week for dinner so it was quite and atmospheric. I imagine it can been more vibrant on Friday night and weekends.
Wonderful food, exceptional service, great wine - nothing more to say really!
Very rude waitress we had. Doesn’t write down our order(luckily she got it all right) and doesn’t smile at all. However the worst was that with the kind of pricing you would expect portion to be decent. Overall bill was $300 for 4 people and we came home hungry
Really enjoyed our meal at Billie H. Fabulous flavours! The staff were attentive and friendly. The menu was filled with interesting choices and the meals delivered!! We were pleasantly surprised and highly recommend this restaurant
Very happy with our experience- staff were attentive and the cocktails/ wine were great. Loved the menu, and the 5 dishes we had were excellent. Cool art and great music also...
Only negative was the tightness of the tables - there was a lot of bumping into our chairs to get past and the next table to our left was so close I could hear every word.
But then it was peak time of a Saturday dinner service so it’s to be expected really.
Thanks for having us!
Really enjoyed our evening. Food was unique and very tasty. Wine selection was good and service was also good. Good value for money.
We will be coming back.
The staff were very efficient and informative about the wine and food quantities for our group. The food came out in a good progression and was delicious. As we were a group of eight we were really happy to be away from the main area as it was very noisy which would have been hard for conversation along the table
Billie H has one of the most beautiful menus and wine lists in Perth. They made our evening so special and we felt so welcome and well looked after by the staff. Very attentive wait staff and brilliant chefs!
Our waiter was charming, knowledgeable, attentive and had a sense of humour - that, and the excellent food made it a really enjoyable evening.
Beautiful dinner with friends. Everything was superb!! Food, wines and staff were all exceptional. Thank you. Perhaps a little too noisy though.
We had a cauliflower dish that was still covered in dirt. We mentioned to the staff but we’re still charged for the dish. Ridiculous! I’ve been before and have a good to great experience but this was not up to standard.
This would have to be the standout restaurant in Perth at the moment.
AMAZING food, great staff and an amazing wine list.
My new local even though I don’t live locally lol
Great dining space. Excellent service, very interesting food choices.
Nice taste iron steak.
But bit noisy.
So can not order easily.
Great easy casual date night out. Food and service was good and not intrusive.
Very noisy ,no soft furnishings to absorb sound. Table of 8 middle aged patrons sat behind us were very loud and inconsiderate of other diners.
Food was average at best, not even up to casual bistro level. More chain cafe type food.
Sorry we won't be back.
Great meal and experience at Billie H. Looking forward to heading back there again soon. The smoked Kipfler potatoes are a must have!
Great service, food, wine, ambience!! I simply cannot fault this spot. LOVE the carpaccio and the oysters and chorizo are a must!!!!
best spot in Perth! Thanks team
We went to Billie H to celebrate my friends birthday. It was wonderful, the staff, the food ,wine and the ambience are fantastic. Highly recommended.
A great evening - fantastic service, great food and a supurb wine list.
Ok, so after a slight glitch with the booking (made online) upon arrival, all was quickly forgiven and forgotten. A smiling and apologetic staff member offered my guest and I a lovely table, exactly where I had requested; somewhere warm. No issue anyway because the restaurant was heated throughout.
The menu and wine list invite questions, and those questions were answered by a conga line of staff armed with product knowledge and helpful suggestions. Nothing was a problem, and our water glasses always remained topped up. A choice of still or carbonated was offered from the get go.
The place oozes professionalism, calm and charm from staff who are refreshingly focused on customer comfort and dining experience.
In spite of a busy Saturday evening, our selections were served promptly and efficently, looked great on the plate and they were delicious. Blossom granita oysters, carpaccio of fish, honey grilled chorizo and the beetroot with the ash mayo. That, along with our Victorian Pinot did the trick.
We, along with our fellow diners who we had interacted with spontaneously throughout the evening due to the intimate and close proximity of the floor plan were served a complimentary dessert. At least I think it was complimentary. I didn't check the bill but the overall experience backed up by the service was certainly deserving of the gratuity. So a big tick, a big thank you, and see you again soon!
Food was a little expensive based on how much food was on the plate. The flat iron steak was delicious
Haven't been there for a little while but the food was awesome once again, especially the desserts! Service was attentive and pleasant but food did take a while to come out though they were busy
Our waitperson Irena was amazingly helpful and professional. Our booking was for 10 but we ended up with 13 people and they accomodated is without issue
We live in the neighbourhood and will definitely frequent BillieH more often.
Been here a few times. Food the best yet with great service and great vibe!
Tapas was great, mains were a let down. In particular the 'risotto'?
The beef was also quite tough, cooked well, but stringy and hard to eat.
The Tapas was delicious and we will give it another go.
Excellent food and impeccable service. We had a delightful evening.
Atmosphere and general vibe is great, service very friendly and professional. Needs one or two more champagnes on the list though.
Would highly recommend to all but not with kids.
We ate dinner at Billie H in a Saturday night to belatedly celebrate a wedding anniversary. Our table for two was inside where it was cosy, vibrant but rather too noisy for us so we were moved to an outside table without fuss. It was a lovely calm evening and the covered outdoor section was warmed by wall-mounted heaters so we were very comfortable. (It would have been less so on a wet, windy night!)
The service was friendly and helpful and the food arrived in timely fashion.
We enjoyed a shared entree of 3 large fresh local Rottnest prawns...only available twice a year!
This was followed by a generous dish of delicious smoked mushrooms with goat curd.
Sour dough bread was available to soak up the juices but we opted for a potato side dish to go with a Porterhouse main course of sliced flavoursome beef in an Asian-inspired sweet/sour/salty sauce that complemented the barbecued meat.
I couldn’t go past dessert and was very happy with the poached pear, Mille feuille and vanilla ice cream.
We ordered a very pleasant Manjimup pinot noir and delicious Single File sparkling wine by the glass to accompany our very enjoyable meal.
We will return!
