Pretty good food and service imo. Character limit lmao
Seven of us went for a 50th birthday .Everyone said their food was outstanding. I had the pasta jambalaya and it was amazing, I cant wait to go there again.
By far the most reliable, traditional Cajun food around. This is a neighborhood staple of ours, never disappoints.
I love this place! The staff, really great food and a mean spicy margarita! Delivers a great experience every time! Thanks Big Daddy’s
Went for brunch with friends. Crab cakes bennies was minimal crab in the cakes, more doughy filler than anything & the poached eggs were over done. Pork & waffles were good but the pulled pork was dry.
The food and drinks were excellent. We were seated at our reservation time. Great place to go.
Been sometime since we’ve been at Big Daddy’s. Enjoyed it very much and we’ll be back. The blue cheese crusted pork chop was really good and had some kick.
Great food.
We have been doing here for almost 30 years. Still my favorite restaurant!!!
Great food, great service. A half hour wait with a reservation was a little long. Also asked for more bread to dip with mussels and they said no :(
You will always get a great meal here. We have never been disappointed with the food or service. Highly recommended.
The food and the service is always top notch here. Always an enjoyable experience. The portions are huge. I don't know if I've ever left without taking a ton of food home with me.
Never get tired of the great fun food beverages and music.
Eat it all it’s authentic ... Gumbo cornbread Ribs Steaks Chicken.... you won’t be sorry. Deluxe Hurricane Spicy Martini Mr. Bs Hot Coffee. To many favorites to mention. Music always great.
Very good food
This place never disappoints! Gumbo is a must. Their nightly specials are always on point. I especially love when they bring in the wild game specials !
This was an amazing place. Great food and great service
They got the number of people on the reservation wrong and we ended up waiting 45 minutes. Staff was pleasant but rushed and the food was ok but it seemed like pre-prepared then heated to order. Good bark on the ribs but the chicken was rubbery and had a lot of gristle. My friend’s burger was dry and my other friend’s chicken fried steak was tough. Ordered corn muffins that never got there
It’s not what it used to be. Menu has less variety - used to love the daily changing Cajun menu. Love the oyster appetizer but my pork chop was over cooked. I miss the old days of Big Daddy’s!!
All the food was great. A little pricy. Nice and spicy like I like it! Strong drinks. But one star off for our dessert PBJ coffee drink. Tasted like like straight up jelly coffee. No PB taste. Too sweet. Was pretty undrinkable.. managed to get down half. Our waitress though was great! And Everything else. Definitely recommend!
Great place, love thatbits local to our area. Great food, drinks and service. Highly recommend.
I hate that I discovered this gem only 2 weeks before I'm set to move out of NY!! :(
We celebrated my daughter’s 25th birthday with the whole family. The Lucifer’s mussels were amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious The portions are so big we had leftovers for the next day. Excellent wait staff and atmosphere. Definitely a favorite restaurant of ours.
Big Daddys food and service is always excellent! A little pricey, but a favorite of ours!
Absolutely fantastic. Jambalaya and Creole gumbo are out of this world. Returned 2 days later for take out for family. Don't miss the Key Lime pie!
Everything was top notch. Tried many items. Gumbo, wings fried oysters and Dr John's pasta ( smoked Turkey, andoullie sausage smoked tasso ham, peas and penne in a brown jalapeno gravy was outstanding. Mollies blackened catfish a d the Pig Out BBQ were also outstanding. Can't wait to go back!
YUMMY! Pricey but worth it. The broiler oysters are amazing. I am a rib eye kinda girl and the garlic rib eye is succulent and mouth watering goodness. I would go more often if wasn't 200+ for 4 to eat. It was a special occasion so we splurged.
Funny how certain places sound good but aren’t. Came back to hometown to visit and went here. This is not good food. Funny what people will settle for. Go somewhere else.
The young short blonde hostess who seats you and looks like she’s 14 is an idiot
We made a reservation and the time was pretty close to the seating. The decor is New Orleans however the music and the uniforms don’t match the theme at all. I wish that it had. It appears to be just another sports bar with purple, green not a lot of variety if you don’t eat pork. I had the crab cake ( so good) and the garlic mash potatoes. I would recommend going there if the baseball game was on or football night.
Yummy as usual. Chef made me shrimp ‘n grits which is not on the menu. Delicious creamy grits were made perfectly. Our entire party was happy with their food choices. The band was good but too loud, so it was very difficult to have a conversation, my only issue.
Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Service was outstanding.
The bar service was ok. There were not enough bartenders, so it took us a while to order drinks. The band was very laud so it was difficult to have a conversation.
The waitress was nice and attentive, the boss boys were not paying attention to any thing. At one point, one of them wanted to collect my plate, even though I had food still on it and I was still eating.
In general the food was good; however the shrimp dish my friend ordered was not good at all. The drinks were good also.
Great food a little over priced for a brunch menu but worth it.
Would recommend simply because there aren't many cajun places available BUT the restaurant lost points however for having us wait over 20minutes for a reservation. We could have walked in and been treated the same, as people that did not have reservations that came at the same time were seated right after us. There was an open table but they wouldn't seat us there because it was a table for 6 and we were a party of 4. A group of 5 walked in, that I suspect did not have a reservation and were seated there. The area where you had to wait was right in front of the speakers for the live music, which forced me outside because it was way too loud.
Their specialty drinks were heavy on liquor and low on flavor and way too expensive.
I will, however, say their wings were really good. Otherwise, eh.
We have been going to Big Daddy's for years and have been more and more disappointed in recent visits. Even with having reservations we were told to wait because the tables were saved for other parties. We waited almost 20 minutes. The food, from the gumbo, to the shrimp, the chicken and the vieux carre dishes all seemed to miss flavor and spice. It hasnt been feeling like Big Daddy's and thats a disappointment.
We have always loved Big Daddy's but have never been to their brunch… it was a much smaller menu… some usuals on there but kicked up a notch to be suitable for brunch. It was awesome! They never disappoint.
I enjoy the live band. Was looking for something to try. The food was delicious and spicy the way I like it. Will try to revisit next month 3rd Sunday for the live band.
Great Brunch, big portions great band. Definitely book reservations otherwise long wait.
Amazing cocktails and the food was so good that everyone overate! One of a kind brunch options that were absolutely delicious!
The Ribs were sub par, the stuffed shrimp were not good. The drinks were good. The service was very good
