"It is most certainly a gourmet establishment with a menu from top to bottom that is exquisitely creative with tastes and flavors and choices that make selections so joyously difficult--and with a wine list to match food and pocketbook. Consider this the now best Italian restaurant in the state. Three cheers for Biagio the chef."
"Concealed jewel, but easily accessible off the parkway. Esteemed staff that goes about taking care of your every need, especially the maitre d'. Exceptional menu with meals that make you crave for more. The homemade pasta dishes are unequaled to any place in the state. This is an elite restaurant that I will entertain my family and my business clients at. Head chef will go above and beyond his means for satisfaction of customer."

First time here-the food was outstanding! The veal and ricotta meatball appetizer was so delicious! Great drinks too😁
Food was delicious, service was excellent, lunch specials great value. We definitely will be back soon. Sitting was well spaced ,staff masked, cover 19 safe.
We live 3 hrs from the restaurant in southern NJ, but make it a point to have dinner once or twice a year here when we can be in the area. This is the absolute best Italian dining experience around!
The best place for a delicious meal and wonderful service. Sat outside and we felt like we were in a garden. Lovely!
Primo, the best!
On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 10. Food was amazing as was the service. We will definitely be back!
Their food has been great each and every time we eat there. Our waiter was excellent I wish I knew his name to let him know that we appreciate his service and also welcoming us back during the last few months that we have not been there. It is nice to be remembered and treated well
Excellent service and food quality. We always enjoy dining at Biagio's and appreciate their adhering to the COVID-19 restrictions. Portions size is generous and price point is affordable. We look forward to returning very soon!
Everything was great...tables were nicly set and away from other diners and full menu. Everyone work masks when enering and walking around and remove them when eating and service an food were great.
Perfect night out for my husband and I after being quarantined for so long. Best meal I've had in a long time!!
Even though we had to enjoy our meal just a few feet away from the parking lot, the dinner was delicious and the service was excellent, as always.
You simply cannot go wrong dining at Biagio's. Enrico graciously greets you upon your arrival and follows-up at each & every table to ensure all is well.
Staff is beyond perfection. The chef accommodates special requests and I simply cannot say enough wonderful adjectives about this restaurant!
Fabulous set up, great food and relaxing atmosphere. Will be back! Happy to support them
What a wonderful night-
The hosts were amazing! The food wonderful! Such a nice nite for a 9pm dinner!!
I’ll be back-
Lovely atmosphere, charming waiter, delicious food with inventive plating!
Portions a bit small for entree price:)
Nice outdoor seating options!
Our first night out after quarantine! Great food and service, the same as before. Always a great place!
Had a lovely birthday dinner there this week. We ordered appetizers to share...lobster bisque souffle, meatballs and burrata. We all enjoyed the appetizers immensely! Our meals were the steak special, lamb ossa bucca, porcini ravioli, duck and Cavatelli with a lamb ragu. No complaints as we passed our dishes around for all to share. Wine, coffee desserts the dinner was a success! Thank you...we are going again tonight!!
First time eating out since March. Lovely experience. Thought perhaps servers couldn’t have been a little more protected... not sure what the state requirements are.
What a great experience. We traveled 80 miles from home to this Connecticut restaurant we were very happy to dine out and we really happy with this choice. The service and overall everything was excellent. The food was a little different for us, but that was a good thing. Caesar Salad was a little disappointing, just seemed to missing something, otherwise our entree's were great. Even though it is far, I am sure we will return.
One of the best (if not the best) Italian restaurants in the New Haven/Fairfield County area. Easily the best restaurant in Stratford for sure. We had one of everything and split - salad (pear and warm goat cheese), appetizer (broccoli rabe and sausage), pasta (duck ravioli) and entree (veal scallopini with cherry tomatoes and spinach over risoto). Everything was very well prepared and fresh. No weak sisters in any of the dishes. It was more than enough for two splitting like this with generous portions. The wine list is expansive with many great selections under $50. Great value overall which means we will be back again. We've tried comparable Italian places in Bridgeport and Milford and this is now our new #1.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Close by too!! a hidden little gem
The food is consistently delicious, and either staff are quick, nice and through! We loved our dining experience here. We can't wait to go again!
The kindness and service was excellent. The Italian gentleman was outstanding.
Going on a Sunday night was the right choice. It wasn’t crowded and the service was attentive. Food was outstanding.
Both food and service were excellent. Very attentive to our party of 6. Will definitely return.
The food was excellent, highly recommend. Never disappointed.
The only thing is the windows in the waiting area need shades or tint. People waiting can look at you eating.
Quality food at a reasonable/appropriate price. Wine list provide a good range of options at fair prices. Overall very enjoyable experience and expect to return in the future.
Always a wonderful experience and delicious meal!
Food was amazing. Service was extremely slow. Needed more servers for the amount f people eating. Felt like they threw in extra tables where they could just for the evening.
One of our family favorites! Chef Barone is always accommodating and the food is delicious! Biagio’s is a hidden gem in town and we highly recommend!
Took a ride from NJ to CT to see our daughter in college. I wanted a very nice place to take her to for Valentine’s Day.
2 time there and I will be back. Food was well prepared and presented beautifully with a lot of love an attention to detail.
Hi. I''ve been to Bioagios oh, about 3 times past years and always enjoyed time at Biagios. This past time, I had Rib eye and Steak was Tough. Steak was very chewy. Med Rare. My Friend had the Lamb Shank. She raved over the Lamp Shank. We had Wild boar roll. Which, was ok. Nothing to Rave about. Could of been few more purple potatoes with the steak. I didn't complain about the steak. Cause didn't want to ruin nice evening with Good Friend who I hadn't seen for a long time and She really liked the lamp shank. I didn't want to damped good Vibes. Next time. I'll order a Fish or Pasta dish. I took steak home. I and my friend would recommend Biagios to others. I'll just not recommend having Steak. Regards. Stan
First time sitting at a high table in the bar. We were waited on by a lovely friendly bartender. We have never had a bad experience at this restaurant, and though we live a fairly good distance away, we always try to stop in when we can.
Food was very good. Calamari a bit chewy. Entrees were excellent. The clipboard menus are clumsy and difficult to use. The room was often very cold due to door being left open. Stone floor made room very noisy.
Birthday dinner always excellent at Biagio’s
Please arrange to send the gift certificate I receive each year for my birthday BEFORE my birthday. My birthday is Feb. 3 and the monthly certificates never arrive before the first day of the month. Never in time to use for my special birthday dinner.
Snow White Cosmo great! Pera appetizer was excellent as always, swordfish delicious but ditch the black spaghetti - hip but creepy!
Restaurant was noisy but bearable, service (although waiter was very attentive and pleasant) between courses was somewhat slow. Chocolate Raspberry creme brulee was served with an unripe (with white on it) strawberry. Would have expected a couple raspberries. Not up to to par for $8. Overall we enjoyed our dinners and will be back.
Great cozy location, service is so good and the food is incredible. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for a great meal!!
