Situated in the south of the city, Bia Bistrot is 10 minutes' drive from Haymarket station. The owners, who are also the restaurant's chefs, believe in spreading the goodness of home-made, sustainable food. Their ideal is reflected in the way the menu is prepared and since its opening more than a decade ago the restaurant has won many accolades. The menu has a comprehensive selection of dishes, all based on the freshest seasonal produce available from the local market. Specials are changed daily, as are the 2 and 3 course set menus and vegan, gluten- and dairy-free dishes are also available by request. The drinks menu is made up of well-chosen fine wines, Scottish craft beers and aged single malt whiskies.
