ROMANESCA CUISINE - The Berzitello restaurant is located in the heart of Rome, a few steps from the Quirinale Palace, via Nazionale. The restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine, where you can enjoy first courses of Roman and other cuisine, the wine list is also excellent.
GREAT AVAILABILITY - The owner of the structure, Adriano, presents a traditional, characteristic and very welcoming environment, where in the evening candles light the room and the barrel outside enchants passersby. It is an ideal place for lunches with friends and family.
RECOMMENDED DISHES - You should definitely try the first courses of the Roman tradition, but also the paccheri sea bass and tomato, the fillet of sea bass in a potato crust, squid with Parmesan, as well as the seadas and the puff pastry and chocolate.
Very quiet only one other table being served. The mixed salami platter was delicious, the steak left a little to be desired.
The restaurant had a radio on which was way too loud and the waiters who weren't busy spent more time on their phones than paying attention to the few guests that were in the premises. Handy for our hotel I wouldn't go back though.
Relaxed atmosphere, bright, service was excellent food was delicious - a perfect mix of classic, simple dishes done berh very well. So far my best meal in Rome.
Very tasty food and we felt good value for money. Only small complaint was the wine we chose was not available but we were recommended another and it was really nice.
We are a group of three people. A meat eater, vegiterian and Vegan. The restaurant advertises a Vegan and Mediterranean menu in addition to meat/ seafood.
The Vegan and Mediterranean menu do not exist.
They did prepare a pasta with grilled vegetables but this is not the reason we choose this restaurant.
The seafood and meat dishes were average at best.
Based on the prices the food should have been better than average.
Overall we were very disappointed and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
non capisco la recensione ?? da nessuna parte trova scritto che abbiamo menu vegetariani e vegani, la cucina italiana e una cucina mediterranea, quindi non capisco perchè lei abbia voluto insultarci cosi !!! cerchiamo sempre di accontentare tutti i nostri i clienti vegani vegetariani glutin free. la nostra carne e un carne argentina o danese di alta qualità. la ringrazio per la recensione ma la prego prima di scrivere delle brutte cose su un ristorante dica la verita.
Great service, staff was amazing
My husband and I selected Berzitello based on Trip Advisor reviews. We are very pleased with our choice. We were greeted and made very welcome, given a front window table and attentive service. We chose from the fixed dinner menu and were happy with our food. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for the number of people since it was not empty. We would be happy to return the next time we are in Rome.
