   Good food and amazing service. Grounds are very nice and the restaurant is well presented. Great for a casual lunch for a special day out, or catching up with friends. Don't forget to check out the wines they produce.

   We were entertaining our close friends who live in Queensland and the experience was perfect. The young man who looked after us was attentive, the food was very tasty with ample servings and our request to be seated near the fireplace was fulfilled. We finished off our visit with a tasting in the new tasting venue - a great decision. All in all, a really successful visit to this lovely venue.

    We book every February for Mother’s Day. We have been coming for 6 years. Sadly, Bendooley’s didn’t come up to its high standard. A Restaurant Manager (new) that had no idea how to run his team. He said that four staff rang in sick, but there still seemed plenty of staff on the floor. The staff didn’t have any idea what to do, they seemed to be running around in circles with no direction. One girl was exceptional, I didn’t get her name. It was not only us, but lots of people in the restaurant asking for their food or just to order. Then they said they had a wedding!! People were still waiting for food!! This will not deter us from Bendooley’s, but they do need to train the Restaurant Manager & he needs to train his staff before you have an event. Get together & have a meeting & in this climate of staff still afraid of covid have extras on standby. Break the staff up into areas, library, coffee room, wine room & outside.

    A very beautiful and picturesque. Food was a standout along with friendly staff! A must come to location. Recommendation is to try the wines at the new cellar door!

    Wonderful service, gorgeous location and the food was amazing. The lovely manager found us a table inside as well had our mum there. 10/10 will be back!

    We felt the staff were generally unfriendly. When my sister in law commented that the room was chilly, the woman at the front desk commented that that was her perspective. Not very welcoming.

    Service prompt and appropriate. Food great quality except duck confit a little dry and portion could have been more generous. Wine Bendooley CS very good. We enjoyed our meal at Bendoolley which was great value in such a wonderful setting and will definitely be returning.

    Bendooley had lots of charm but if you’re looking to enjoy it for a while, think again. The experience felt rushed and somewhat chaotic. Our order came wrong (albeit was corrected quickly), the serving staff whilst friendly seemed to move us along with haste. The portions were large but the pricing matches. Overall it’s a beautiful venue but not a relaxing lunch experience.

    I have been dinning here for years and I must say it was the first time I felt gutted and embarrassed. I brought a relative from overseas to experience great food and service but there was a miss communication about a drink my relative ordered and the barman. The barman was irate, flung his hands up in the air said and told us he would get someone else to serve us. The waitress who served us through lunch was as cold as an iceberg as she heard and saw the commotion. The correct drink was then made and brought to the table and the barman apologised 20 mins later but too late as it completely ruined our lunch and day.

    Food was very tasty. Wait staff were pleasant but very interested in chatting with other waiters staff rather than serving. Took over 30 minutes for our coffee to come & when did was cold.

    Lovely venue. Food was quite good and Bendooley Wines were lovely. We had a booking at 2pm-ish. Unfortunately, they did not tell me when I booked that they had a wedding on that afternoon. The whole afternoon was rushed so that staff could get the venue ready for the reception. From the moment we sat down were hassled by staff to order. They weren't rude just a bit stressed. Plus we weren't able to browse the bookshop which was a great disappointment. A shame as the venue came with a great recommendation!

    We had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch At Bendooley Estate. The food was delicious and the wine was a lovely accompaniment. It was lovely sitting outside under the trees. We finished off with a browse through the book barn, some boom purchases and then some wine purchases from the cellar door. A lovely afternoon for our family.

    This is such a beautiful estate and the staff are attentive but unfortunately the food is terribly bland and overpriced :( I couldn’t recommend a single dish that we ordered.
