Always most enjoyable with great atmosphere. Noisy children tree climbing can be dangerous and a little annoying. For some reason the drinks service is always too slow: needs looking at. Look forward to more good times there.

We have been to Bendooley Estate 4 times and every visit the service keeps getting poorer and poorer to the point where you want to walk out. The restaurant Manager and staff come across that they rather be somewhere else. The food was great but the service is non existent.

The ambiance is magical. I would’ve preferred a larger variety of mains “From the Grill” and df on fish choice.

We were lucky to have won a dinner prize at the Avoca ball. So we took some friends and we all enjoyed our meals and wine. We will certainly be coming again. The outside setting was very comfortable. Thank you Dooleys for supporting local events.

Confusion among wait staff. Tables very close together. Beautiful grounds , but unfortunately the dining experience did not match our expectations.

Very disappointed, we had a delightful new waitress who we were told was being trained.
The main waitress did not oversee. I had to get up many times to ask for a drink and have plates removed,
not great on your birthday. Our French fries came before entrees , our mains had to be sent back
as they to arrived before our entrees. I asked the fellow behind the bar what was the problem today
and he said how's that? very reassuring I have to say while he can see our table was covered in empty plates.
Don't sit in the corner in the front room you be forgotten.
Love the restaurant just the same.

Located on the outskirts of the very picturesque town of Berrima and the food is excellent. I visit several times a year and I love the way they change the menu seasonally so there is something different on offer. A must for book-lovers and wine buffs alike. Highly recommend.

I have been a regular visitor to Bendooley Estate and have always found the food to be of a very high standard.
I was very disappointed as was my friend who accompanied me on the day with the food - we both left our main course.
The only saving grace was the fries tasted ok.
I will not be rushing back as I was so disappointed with the food.
The old menu was far more tasty and superior than the new one.

We had lunch there recently on an extremely hot Saturday (Hottest day on record). Sat outside as requested and yes it was very hot (perhaps in hindsight seating inside would have been more comfortable) however the food was very nice (I had the Crispy Skin Barramundi and my husband had the Steak) Both meals were well presented and tasted great. We eventually moved inside for coffee and cake. The Vegan Chocolate Cake was to die for.
Would definitely return, maybe in the Spring or Autumn.

We had lunch. I ordered spatchcock one part of the bird was still red and bloody. Should definitely not be, we had taken friends to lunch or I would have sent back. Two of the group ordered burgers the burgers were tower high and not easy to eat. I had dessert the blue cheese what ever. I like blue cheese so thought I would try, it was disgusting take it off the menu. Also the menu's had grease spots on them not a good look. I am given all this feed back so you can improve. On the whole I like the restaurant and the staff seem to have improved. Re: wine tasting no enthusiasm showed by the staff you need to take a leaf out of Artemis winery. It was a quiet day in the restaurant compared to other times I have been.

Great spot, lovely location. Great menu selection and kids alternatives. Very accommodating. However food was a bit of a let down considering the price we paid I expected more. Hubby's burger was obviously sitting out for way too long before coming to the table, the bun was soaked through and soggy. I ordered crab linguine, and I only found 2 pieces of crab in my serving.

The day was very hot. We actually had to leave early as the area was very oppressive. When we walked into the next room the cool air hit us. Why were we not offered a seat in the cooler room when everyone knew it was unbearably hot!

What a treasure! Loved eating amongst the Berkelouw books. Several gluten free options, and a kids menu made it a good choice for three generations. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was tasty and well presented, and while prices were slightly higher than your local RSL, the quality of food was significantly better. Setting is beautiful - you will be glad you came here.

We stopped for lunch on our way home from our summer holidays and ate outside. Other than a few pesky flys it was a lovely way to end our holiday. Just wish that they had salads on the menu in summer!

This restaurant does not know how to cook barramundi at all. I had to send it back 2 times because there were raw bits in the middle. I was not compensated as well for having to wait almost an hour. The wines were mediocre as well. This place is overrated for sure!
