The food & drinks menu has Irish and Japanese cuisine flavours, taking inspiration from the building’s namesake, Thomas Charles Beirne, who was an Irish Immigrant with a love for Japan. The Josper charcoal oven, a proud feature of the kitchen, will be turning out flavour-packed dishes like king prawns with black garlic butter, marinated spatchcock with charred lime, and featured dry-age beef from our local supplier, Bannock Brae farm.
Beers include a few crowd favourites as well as a constantly-rotating selection of craft beers by local and interstate breweries. As for the wine list, it is considered a balance of contemporary and classic drops with an emphasis on natural, organic, biodynamic, and longer skin contact wines alongside accessible favourites.
Absolutely loved having lunch here with my friend. I’m from out of town and love finding new places - Bierne Lane was beautifully laid out, lovely decor, excellent service and the food was deliciously fresh and inviting. I’ll be back for certain!!

Beirne lane never disappoints! All their staff are lovely special mention to their head chef Zac. He has impeccable attention to detail, and everything was cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. If you are a steak lover you must try their dry aged steaks. Will definitely be back soon.
I had heard about Beirne Lane after some good write ups in various newspapers/foodie blogs, and it certainly didn't disappoint when I booked it for my Birthday dinner. A great food offering, brilliant service and for a price that was very reasonable considering the offering. Would definitely recommend, and will be coming back.
