This was our second visit since reopening - the first time with friends. Food is very good and always hot. Setting is also very nice and staff are lovely. My only comment is that the bill was wrong - and when it was amended and sent back to us it was still wrong so had to be amended again, so would always check the bill.

We dined here for my partners birthday. There was four of us. It was warm and peaceful. The service was spot on and the food and cocktails were great. Couldn't ask for more.

Really lovely surroundings, very comfortable, the wood burner kept us cosy in spite of the open sides and we felt very safe. The food and service were excellent. All in all a very enjoyable experience

Amazing service and food was beautiful

Delighted to be out for a meal in April 2021-they had gone to a lot of trouble to marry "outdoor" with comfortable, providing heaters and log fires. Had meal on a Sunday (so normal vegan menu unavailable but they offered to cook us what we wanted). Quality of food was excellent and really enjoyed the evening

Brilliant as usual. Staff are fantastic here and service is great. 1st night out for months couldn’t think of a better place to spend it.

No criticism but there was a lengthy wait for drinks to be served.
Due to the fact that it was so busy and the staff were rushed off their feet.
Another couple of staff members wouldn’t have gone a miss.

Lovely food with good service. The heaters ensured you were warm enough while dining outside.

The service was very poor. We understand that after lockdown it will take time to get back to normality but the service was so poor it was inexcusable. We had to ask for a reduction in the bill given the fact one meal out of five was missing, it took two hours from arrival to paying the bill and all for one course. We had to chase two rounds of drinks three times each. We sympathise with people getting back to service routines but this was an awful experience.

Outdoor area was lovely and we enjoyed sitting next to the fire. Was lovely to see staff handing out hot water bottle and blankets. The food was underwhelming, tempura prawns were a bit bland and the burger was over cooked and chewy, but we were mostly grateful to just be eating out.

To be honest, I really wasn’t expecting the food to be as amazing as it was! It isn’t that I had low expectations, more so that this is a HIDDEN GEM with an incredible menu and absolutely delicious food. I’ve already booked my next visit, have been dreaming of the spicy prawn pizza ever since! AND my little pup could visit too, even better! Would highly recommend, I’ve been telling everyone they need to eat here!

We had a lovely meal on 12th April.It was the first day being open so service was a little slow but it didnt bother us as was lovely views around to help.
The food was amazing we had steak but the menu was limited again that wasn't an issue as understand it was all new being back open and serving only outdoors.We had the steak which was lovely but would have been nice to have a choice of sauces instead of just garlic butter as I wasn't too keen on that.Overall tho was a lovely atmosphere under the restrictions and would go again.

First day back and with outside seating, it was well thought out and very pleasant given it was so cold on the day. Food was nice; just had sandwiches. Drinks were good as was the service and staff pleasant. All of our party enjoyed what we had and we’ll definitely be back.

I do have one grumble, the high chair we were given wasn’t very clean. We just wiped it over before putting baby in but I was disappointed about that under the circumstances.

Second time of eating in the restaurant in a week, first time we have brought our children and they loved it. Beautiful food and excellent service. We finished off our trip with the halloween trail, the staff took the time to chat with the children at the end and find out what was their favourite part of their visit.

Wonderful food on the heated terrace. We will definitely return, it’s in such a lovely spot to walk from.
