Beach House Bar & Grill Springfield

I ordered the crumbed calamari and got the salt and pepper squid, which was soggy and not very nice at all.
It was too loud.

The beef nachos were terrible. The sauce was more tomato than beef & it was to much sauce thus making the corn chip all soggy

All crumbed food was over cooked. If anyone eats here sit near the southern doors. Airconditiong in the rear is non existent.

It was extremely hot and uncomfortable and we booked a table of 8 inside don't think air con was on. We sat in the right hand corner near the chef and every meal and entire went straight past us and do the whole outside and around then back inside before we had to flag them down. Steak was great chicken snitizel overcooked. Sorry but I wouldn't pay that much again to dine there.

We had the worst experience at this restaurant. The food was greasy and awful and left my partner and I feeling sick afterwards and was not worth the price at all. Do not recommend eating here at all.

We were in an area away from others, the staff were very friendly and helpful

We had a nice dinner, I like the restaurant vibe, the food was fairly good I must say, I had the seafood feast. It was a good dish, just a bit over powering with the deep fried seafood for me. The rump steak looked delicious!! I was jealous hehe

Cons

I didn't really like that they didn't have waiters, you have to go up and order the food, get your own cutlery, also go to the bar and order your drinks, they bring your food.

I made the booked for a family of 10, The team where very accommodating when we advised update of booking to 12. The room was clean and tidy.

The family all enjoyed the meals and laughs. The children's menu kept the little ones happy.

I wish I had of caught the young ladies name whom greeted us and was more than helpful throughout the night. She also made a point of saying goodbye as each family left the restaurant. She really stood out as she was so helpful & went out of her way.

Food was very average, compared to the Brisbane city restaurant, exactly the same meal. Staff had lack of knowledge, looking for red wine in the fridge, I had to point to the bottle on the shelf!!!

Live music was way too loud for size of restaurant.

Overall ambience was like a Coles cafeteria.

Won't be going back.

Appeared to be not enough staff on. And was not even busy.

Desert was slow comming out we had finished our coffee before it arrived. Lack of staff clearing tables.

Had to ask for dessert, incident with a water bottle - while the glass was cleared and floor mopped, the table was covered in water and not cleaned up. Dirty plates were not removed. Food was good but a little work needed with clearing tables. Would go back

I ordered the snapper and the portion was tiny - I was really disappointed with this. I also pre-booked a table as there was 9 of us with two babies. They put us outside in the sweltering heat, I would have thought common sense would prevail and they would reserve our table inside in aircon but they didn't. I booked via open table and made a note there were two prams and I required 1 high chair, but they didn't even have the high chair ready, I had to find someone to get one. Very disappointed.

Lovely food and services but for a beach house no oysters on menue..

This was the second visit we had. The steak sandwich was nice but that was about it. 3 of us had the Chicken parmigiana and all thought it was average and even a comment was made that the Goodna RSL does a much better parmigiana. 1 had the Atlantic Salmon, even though the taste was ok it was incredibly small for the price of $29, very disappointed. 1 had steak which was just OK vegie variety was poor and the mash potato was ok. I had the battered Cod chips and coleslaw, very tasteless cod. The batter was lovely but the cod on its own had absolution taste and quite watery. Very disappointed in the food quality and will probably not re attend again.

We had a lovely time, the service was great.

Finally...a local that knows how to cook a steak! Our weekly date night was to our local pub, but the quality of their steaks left a lot to be desired. We had to change our date night this week, so tried the Beach House and hubby was delighted!

Everything was really good until 3/4 the way in when I realized part of my steak was raw (not medium rare). I ate around it and when the waitress asked us how our meals where, I advised I didn't want to make a fuss but the chef needed to know about my steak. The manager then made me feel that I was in the wrong for not telling them about it when my meal first arrived. Do you employ chefs or cooks? A chef should know how to cook a steak evenly, when employed by a steak and seafood restaurant.

The kids were spending the night at Grandmas so it was time for a very rare date night with my babe.
We received our meals very promptly. My wife loved her salmon and my Eye Fillet was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. The generous serve of beer battered chips were crispy and delicious.
Washed down with a couple of pints from the wide selection and it was a lovely night out.

What awful customer service. Didn't have our booking as they didn't check their email. Accused me of booking different branch. Then asked us to eat outside in the cold. Asked if we could get a discount for the inconvenience and the "manager" laughed and said no. A family celebration ruined, thanks!

Would definitely recommend going here for dinner , it was fantastic , food came out so quick from when you ordered .... It was well worth the money and I will be going back again.
