Bayviews Restaurant & Lounge Bar is located on the beach with endless views of the coast to the ocean in cool climate coastal northern Tasmania.
It offers a beautiful relaxed atmosphere for dining in the restaurant, casual drinks and bar food in the lounge area and private dining, conferences and meetings in the exquisite Wave room.
At Bayviews we have a seasonal menu and it paints a portrait of the region using the highest quality ingredients that we can find, focusing on six key areas: land, ocean, vineyards, livestock, dairy and orchard.
Our contemporary restaurant offers a-la-carte and six or nine course tasting menu. Our dishes are created from local products and techniques from our talented team of chefs. Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan options available.

We began with a cocktail in the bar and then went into the dining room for dinner. The calamari was beautiful - tender and tasty. Main courses included rack of lamb and tortellini, both choices were delicious. We ordered a side of green vegetables to share between four - fresh zucchini and green beans in a light burnt butter dressing. We didn’t allow ourselves to be tempted by dessert but there was plenty to choose from. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The facilities were very well maintained throughout the evening. This is really the only fine dining experience available in Burnie and it doesn’t disappoint.

Food was delicious, a good selection of dishes, great cocktails, staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. Have dined here a number of times and will continue to do so. The quality of food and service is always high.
